Thanks for the new thread Kveta. Very sorry to hear about your friend, fingers crossed for them that everything works out.
So pleased to hear I have been joined by two more team members, woohoo!
C'mon the rest of you
- no seriously, hoping for lovely calm deliveries at the appropriate time for everyone still waiting! I am rooting for you all.
SSC sorry about the carpal tunnel, that is most inconvenient
Hope it will clear up fully after the birth.
gwennie hope you are putting those feet up!
By the way, if anyone is interested, I just ordered some nursing bras from www.nursingbra-shop.co.uk/ - prices are a bit less than figleaves / the shops, and there is a 45 day returns window (which is handy).
Went out for Sunday lunch with two of DH's colleagues today, and tried out a local pub which has recently had a fancy makeover. It was really nice - really good food (at a price though!) - but best of all, I have learned that it is a member of the "Mumsnet Family Friendly Programme"
, which meant it was overrun with children (in a good way?
) and there are lots of parent and baby activities held there. Yay!
And best of all - DH went back to work yesterday, since his two weeks of Paternity Leave are up, to learn that the partners have decided to give him an extra week and a half of compassionate leave so he can support me at home!
How ridiculously nice is that?! So now he doesn't have to be back until after the bank holiday weekend. I did however point out that if he is going to be at home for longer, he should be waiting on me hand and foot
. I was not pleased when I had to ask several times over the course of 2 hours yesterday to get some lunch
BabyTea is now 1 month old (OMG
). Back to the hospital on Tuesday for his eye test - hoping to catch up with some familiar faces while we are there
Right, you babies, you be nice to your mothers - cephalic presentations please, enough kicking for reassurance but not so much it hurts, and arrivals at an appropriate time!
