Ooooh good luck for tomorrow Rhihaf Can't wait to hear the news!

It all seems to be happening now. Baby Kveta get a wriggle on!! Your Mummy is getting annoyed!

Dairy how is it going?

I have just made a chocolate cake, taking to my Mums later, even though it is very tempting to just sit and eat it myself.

bemybebe · 10/06/2012 13:47

rhihaf I may be having a elcs, can you please link the C-sec birth plan thread? still trying to avoid it of course...

DairyNips · 10/06/2012 14:17

Hey all, just having a bounce on my ball. Contractions still happening but still irregular. Wish they'd become more regular and ramp up a bit! I keep worrying about when to call the hosp, my last two labours were quick once the contractions were regular and the hosp is an hours drive away. I don't want to go too early though and be sat around for ages..Hmm

Kveta how's it going?

Bumper1 · 10/06/2012 14:19

Hello All
I have been an ardent lurker on these threads throughout my pregnancy and have never posted.

I gave birth on Thursday morning to a beautiful boy and I just wanted to let you all know how incredible an experience it was.

I wanted to thank you all, as although I've never posted, having a virtual gang of people experiencing what I have over that last 9 months was invaluable.

I wish you all well with your upcoming births and wish lots of love to your new arrivals

DairyNips · 10/06/2012 14:26

Aww bumper massive congratulations on your little boyGrin feel free to post here or on the postnatal thread (have we set that up yet?Hmm) anytimeSmile

Kveta · 10/06/2012 14:28

bugger all happening here Dairy - have been dancing with DS, and then did some gardening, but not even a show yet. Sigh. think I will be waiting for induction yet, but shall try and remain optimistic! need to march up and down stairs a few times now I think :o

hope things develop soon for you!

justwantscheese and pink how are you both getting on? We are the 4 early due dates, aren't we? hence not a single baby to be shown between the 4 of us :o

McKayz · 10/06/2012 14:46

Congratulations Bumper!!!!

gwenniebee · 10/06/2012 14:52

Just a quick one to say massive congratulations to ceej and also to bumper :) Thanks Thanks :)

kveta that sounds quite encouraging so hopefully things will speed up a bit now...?

We went to church this am, got kidnapped to go and sing the anthem and then to go back again this eve to sing evensong! I feel very happy about it as have missed my singing and there are lovely people at this church who say things like "Of course you can join us with the baby, just put it in a sling and process in with it!" Had a long walk around the reservoirs between church and lunch too so am feeling quite knackered and achy now! Relaxing with the tennis and feeling I am glad it is not me racing around a tennis court Wink

DairyNips · 10/06/2012 15:12

kveta Sorry nothing happening yet, hope you get some sign of progress soon.

Contractions seem to have slowed down a bit now to around 10 mins apart. It's frustrating. Hurry up contractions!

Coops79 · 10/06/2012 15:20

Congratulations to Ceej and Bumper. V happy to hear such lovely, calm happy labour stories.

Thanks for all the tips about when to go into hospital (sorry, I'm rubbish at keeping up with this thread and I can't remember who said what). Not sure how I go about checking how dilated I am (mirror and tape measure perhaps?!) but I'll be leaving it as late as possible anyway.

Muchos sympathy to whoever it was said their baby appears to have 15 limbs. Mine appears to be trying to spread-eagle across my entire body. DH says LO is reeking revenge on his behalf for all the times I've done that in bed.

I think I have decided to bring my maternity leave forward to begin on Wednesday so it's a week before my due date rather than a few days. Mainly this is because I don't think I'll survive Wednesday which is a full day of teaching Year 7. Actually I don't think Year 7 would survive me teaching them. And I'll have a free on Tuesday where I can set cover work for the rest of the week leaving me feeling much less guilty about bowing out early.

Hope everyone is having a lovely restful Sunday.
x

Hurray - congrats Ceeej!
And Bumper too!

Feels like there might be some more babies on the way too!

Just back from my friends, had roast lunch and ice cream for pudding and just seem to have eaten a cheese and cucumber sandwich, blueberries, end of a banana loaf and the end of a bar of dark chocolate. Oops!!

McKayz · 10/06/2012 17:23
