Hope you get some rest now blondie, sending ripening vibes to your cervix Grin
mamma I get very occasional stabbing pains, hope you feel better soon x
Am a bit scared of clary sage! I checked my box of aromatherapy oils yesterday to see if I have any. I do and I sniffed it, then spent all evening worried I'd started my labour early Blush think I'm ok Grin
Just finished planting bedding plants and tomatoes, plus clearing out the greenhouse. Tired now do having a warm bath to see of it will ease my sore back n bump.
Enjoy the rest of the bank hol Monday everyone.....come on babies, there must be at least one on its way today Smile xx

DairyNips · 04/06/2012 16:11

tdw I'm not exactly sure what the full moon theory is, just that I've heard a lot of people say that labour wards become very busy every time there's a full moon. Of course it could just be a load of nonesense!Grin

McKayz · 04/06/2012 16:56

Lots of people say that labour wards are busier on a full moon. Not sure why though.

I used clary sage in the bath and to massage with both boys and nothing happened. But I figured 3rd time lucky and this is a girl so maybe it'll work.

Kveta · 04/06/2012 16:59

Poor you blondie, you better get a good sleeper after all she has put you through so far!

More cramping here, but just a bit uncomfortable so not getting my hopes up. Have been for a long walk this morning and think it was a mistake as my pelvis has pretty much seized up, and bump hurts like mad. Had some Finnish licorice earlier, which was not to my tastes, but is one of those foods associated with bringing on labour! Tried another method for labour induction last night with DH which was fun but not effective :o

39+6 now, looks like I will be the first overdue june mum!

StarlightMaJesty · 04/06/2012 17:01

Seriously you lot. Eat dates. 4 a day!!!!

justwantcheese · 04/06/2012 17:03

Apparently Tuesday are 15percent busier than any other day on maternity,so maybe tomorrow we will all be in !

McKayz · 04/06/2012 17:03

No dates are nasty! Smile

thedogwalker · 04/06/2012 17:07

Here's hoping the magic of the full moon and a Tuesday combined, sets loads of us off Grin

StarlightMaJesty · 04/06/2012 17:12

Having quite a lot of random but painful BH. Perhaps I'll have a Tuesday full-moon baby!?

Tomorrow is my US due date, although it's wrong!

AmethystMoon · 04/06/2012 17:27

Dates?! I love them and have eaten about 6-8 per day throughout my pregnancy! Might lay off them for a couple of weeks....

ceeej · 04/06/2012 17:37

mmmm I love dates, and proper Scandinavian licorice, not a problem to eat lots of them. Two of my NCT class have given birth over 10 days early and one bang on time. I fear this means some of us are going to be rather late to compensate!

blondiedollface · 04/06/2012 18:21

I am in floods of tears, and it's silly really, but somebody has smashed the wing mirror off of my car (obviously a drunken bank holiday incident) but it's just so unfair and upsetting... I love my car, it's beautiful, almost as old as me, there are very few of them on the road and the thought that people have so little respect for other people's property just because it's kept on the street makes me so angry.

It's also the last cost we need right now, and means DH has to take the Yaris to work until it gets replaced as it's illegal to drive without driver side mirror, and I can't get into my car because I'm so fat and immobile it's a low sports model - so I'm now stuck until it gets fixed too.

I never thought I'd cry this much over something this ridiculous.

Sorry to moan, just really need to get it off my chest. Xx

ffnorm · 04/06/2012 18:33

Hello everyone!! waves at RhiB

5 pages since I went away on friday afternoon...managed to read small bits at a time,so have kept up - just Grin

Had a lovely weekend on the Isle of Wight, for my friends wedding. Got lots of when are you due and looks of horror and hope you don't go into labour at the wedding comments.Which I didn't Grin

We were 4 families who know each other and stayed in the same hotel,so yesterday took all the DC's to an adventure park - it was lovely but very hilly and my pubic bone feels broken today from all the walking think maybe I overdid it

Where are all the babies???

smallwonder · 04/06/2012 18:39

I'm sorry to hear that Blondie Sad You are entitled to a moan, let's hope appearance of your long awaited LO makes up for it all now. Chin up.

I only came on to see if anyone had news yet but seeing someone else say they've been in floods of tears prompts me to say the same. I should be so happy, and I have been, but I've been crying for the last few hours and feeling so alone. My best friend is having serious marital issues at present and don't want to call her to moan even though I know she wouldn't mind if i did. We talk to each other almost daily but haven't since she offloaded the other day. I know when she needs space. My mother hasn't made any attempt to talk about visiting even in the hospital and my father won't be around, he couldn't remember the day even. I feel utterly depressed, please tell me this is all just hormones. Now starting to think about post surgery, returning home to a busy household and tired ILs who'll want to leave...
DH says I should lay off the screens for a while and try to rest and that i look exhausted. I can't sleep though and my mind won't switch off.
Another sorry to moan. I'm sure I just need a good old sleep. x

AmethystMoon · 04/06/2012 19:34

blondie and small big hugs, the hormones don't help but you're both justified in feeling the way you do. Hopefully your little ones will show up soon and put huge smiles on your faces Smile xxx

DairyNips · 04/06/2012 19:36

Oh small we all have days like that. I've cried several times over the last few days.. Hope you're feeling a bit better now.

Blondie that's awful that they did that to your lovely car, how dare theyAngry Someone did that to ours when I was of with ds1. I heard it happen though and dh and I chased them up the road in the car and rang the police! They were found hiding in a garden and had to do community service as well as pay for the damage and write a letter of apology to usGrin Hope it's easily fixed.

I'm already feeling fed up at the lack of labour signs and I'm not even 'late' yet. Doesn't help that people have started asking me those boring questions 'any twinges?' 'when do you think it will be?' blah blah. Actually, can you just shut up till I've had the baby? Thanks!!Angry

McKayz · 04/06/2012 19:39

Blondie that's horrible. We've had ours broken and it's held on by electrical tape. But we just have a crappy ford focus.

I've been getting asked when the baby is coming and if I'm feeling twinges yet!! I have 17 days until I'm actually due!! I will have murdered someone by then.

smallwonder · 04/06/2012 19:56

Thank you amymoon and dairy sat with feet up watching the concert and not surprisingly blubbering at random parts Blush Grin

Kveta · 04/06/2012 20:07

Oh no blondie, how crap :(

I am watching some animated corpse at the jubilee thing too small. It might be cliff, but not convinced.

OP posts:
McKayz · 04/06/2012 20:18

I am behind on the concert. I decided to have a bath. Am I likely to cry?

Kveta · 04/06/2012 20:24

It is pretty awful so far Kayzr. But shouldn't make you cry too much :o

OP posts:
McKayz · 04/06/2012 20:25

Good good. I was having a cry at DH earlier about not being able to get my socks on properly.

smallwonder · 04/06/2012 20:45

Hope Grace Jones didn't prompt any tears!!!! 64 years old!!!!! Beat that.

Kveta · 04/06/2012 20:50

It is the most bizarre selection of acts. And the comedians in between are painful. But it is perfect mindless drivel for nearly 40 weeks pg!

DH is rolling his eyes so much I think they might fall out. He says he is very glad not to be british just now :o

OP posts:
DairyNips · 04/06/2012 21:02

Grin I'm watching it too, really is pretty dire!

Bouncing on my birthing ball, c'mon baby, times up soon..
