Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Brockle · 13/06/2012 09:24

him/her not them - definitely not twins!

ShellyBobbs · 13/06/2012 09:38

Brockle I usually do the Manchester museums in the holidays, they are a life-saver. Are you local to Manchester? Did you go to the festival on Sunday, it was brilliant Grin

applepieinthesky · 13/06/2012 09:41

If you know the history a second hand car seat is fine. I meant I wouldn't buy one if I didn't know the history.

I've got the pram and cotbed both being delivered today Smile

The pains I had yesterday have gone so I assume they were just my ligaments stretching. I'm getting a bit anxious though because everyone is commenting on my lack of bump. 18 weeks friday. Is it normal to have almost no bump at all at this stage?

LittleLolly · 13/06/2012 09:43

The car seat was an offer kiddiecare had on a couple of weeks back, it must have stopped now.... I did post it on here at the time! Think it was half price plus 10% off something like that. Hope it goes on offer again for you ladies.

Can't wait to see how many boys and girls we end up with on this thread!

horseylady · 13/06/2012 09:51

Apple if your on Facebook you can see my lack of bump pic. It's tiny! No one would know I was expecting.

Chick - thanks. Think it's just the tiny bit of brown that scared me :( I think because I've had nothing. As I said baby kicking away so feeling happier (actually thought I might have a breakdown in the car park thinking about the what ifs!!)

Thechick · 13/06/2012 10:07

horsey its not cool is it. My first pregnancy was so easy but this one i had brown spotting at 6 wks which lasted about 10 days and then again on Monday which (thankfully) only lasted the morning. The midwife said it was left over blood from implamentation at 2wks, but its never easy seeing it.

applepieinthesky · 13/06/2012 10:19

horsey No I'm not on the facebook group. I suppose I can join now it's not a secret anymore.

kirrinIsland · 13/06/2012 10:35

horsey if you mention spotting to your midwife they almost always ask you if you'd had sex not long before....

apple this time I'm massive, but first time round I hardly showed at all until about 20 weeks, and then I suddenly looked like I'd swallowed a beach ball!

I've got a britax b dual in denim which I've just retrieved from a friend, but I wish I'd gone for the Phil and teds to be honest. A couple of friends have them now and they look great. I might just stick with my single and a sling for a bit.....

Thechick · 13/06/2012 10:38

Maybe we can put how to join on the stats list so its in one place. Also, someone posted all the free stuff we can get, like bounty and tesco but i cant find it. Does anyone know where it is?

horseylady · 13/06/2012 10:54

Kirrin thanks. I don't think I'd really call it spotting, literally a tiny bit of blood stained mucus. Def keeping an eye on it though (hourly toilet trips).

Cacacaz · 13/06/2012 11:00

I can't remember who said they had ordered the base for the maxi cosi car seat Blush wasn't the easy fix base or family fix? What made you choose that base? I have been advised to get the family fix, by a friend.

I would only accept a second hand car seat from someone I knew and could, therefore, be sure of its history.

Another little boy, congratulations Little

We have ordered the black uppababy vista, although I really liked the red. I felt red would clash with pink, if we have a girl! I initially thought about the silver, but on seeing them preferred the black.

Cacacaz · 13/06/2012 11:03

Woops I meant Congratulations lolly my memory is awful at the moment Blush

applepieinthesky · 13/06/2012 11:14

I must have missed your news lolly. Congratulations!

NervousAt20 · 13/06/2012 11:15

Congratulations Lolly!! Another little boy on the thread Grin

detective do you know when the next, next sale is? They do some really nice baby stuff but would rather wait for their sale

This week is sooo dragging! Roll on Friday! I want need to know what's cooking in there

Asda have a baby and toddler group you can join and get a voucher for a free Huggies starter pack and in that you get 27newborn nappies, a pack of pure baby wipes and a pack of dry coton wool sheets, think that offer is finishing soon so if anyone's interested I'd join very soon!

izzybizzybuzzybees · 13/06/2012 11:20

Thanks nervous I've just joined the asda baby club!

applepieinthesky · 13/06/2012 11:25

I've joined loads of baby clubs but don't seem to have received anything at all in the post which is a bit bizarre. Oh apart from some babies r us vouchers.

shanelle5 · 13/06/2012 11:28

Just ordered a brilliant card for Fathers day on Moonpig. They do one specifically from "the bump" with space to upload your scan photo and other personalisation, it came out lovely!
And it only cost £3.60 with P&P so Im well happy with that, SO cute I thought id share incase anyone else wanted to get one too. Its on the front page of their website in the section top 40 fathers day cards, page 4 Grin

NervousAt20 · 13/06/2012 11:36

apple with the asda one it will take you to a screen when you print the voucher off a home and just take it with you to the shop. You also get more vouchers with the box so that's good too :)

misslaughalot · 13/06/2012 11:46

Hmm I signed up for the Asda club a month ago and couldn't see how to get the Huggies starter kit. It's still being advertised with the baby and toddler club registration, but I've no idea how to get it. Anyone have a link?

daisychain76 · 13/06/2012 11:53

Sorry, don't have a link for the Asda one. The Boots parenting club is worth doing as you can get a free changing bag. I also did Emma's Diary cos you get a pack and some money off vouchers for Argos (I have my eye on a Fisherprice play centre with a piano key board on for the baby to kick and one voucher is 5 pounds off Fisherprice stuff).

izzybizzybuzzybees · 13/06/2012 12:00

try this link for the asda one. ive just printed mine but im not sure if they will let you print another? bricks.couponmicrosite.net/JavaBricksWeb/Install.aspx?o=4600&c=HU&p=9J71M7&lang=en&ct=Coupons+com

Bluetinkerbell · 13/06/2012 12:00

You can find a website here where you can sign up for free nappies, you need to do one of their offers or refer friends and they you get a box of free nappies... well worth it!

izzybizzybuzzybees · 13/06/2012 12:00

sorry! try this instead

bricks.couponmicrosite.net/JavaBricksWeb/Install.aspx?o=4600&c=HU&p=9J71M7&lang=en&ct=Coupons+com

misslaughalot · 13/06/2012 12:06

Thanks Izzy but it didn't work.

I've emailed Asda's customer services to ask, hopefully they'll sort it for me!

izzybizzybuzzybees · 13/06/2012 12:15

I didn't think it would but thought it mighta been worth a try :) hope you get it sorted!
