Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
GTbaby · 31/05/2012 23:11

hello all. hope your all doing well.

just come back from the cinema, enjoyed a nice tub on sweet pop corn to myself! well i am pregnant :)
watched what to expect. very funny.

and just like in the movie, my itchy boobs are driving me nuts :s

right off to bed now. night night

Chunkychicken · 01/06/2012 06:30

Thanks Detective I do have a MW appt nxt wk anyway, so not long to wait, & glad it seems not to be just me. I don't suppose its sensible to expect regular movement this early on.Blush

And thanks Mrswee too. I think I'll feel a bit better after today, when I'm on half term, and can try & get stuff done, but equally have lots of school work to do too.Angry At least we've got a date & it seems to be going well, at least.

I have really itchy nipples GTbaby its always at the most inappropriate times too...Blush

mrswee · 01/06/2012 07:05

chunkychicken you are right, if you didn't have a date yet it would be just as stressful if not more. The whole thing is a mine field! We have our mortgage deals all sitting there ready and are waiting to sign our Missives, once that is done then they have a contract to sell the property to us. But first they have to get the contract right, there is a couple of legal niggles that would affect any buyer/seller contract they went into. One being that the roof joists have been adjusted, they have to prove that they either have had planning permission or followed building regs and the other is the windows, they have replaced them in the last 10 years so they have to prove they follow building regs, which looking at them they do not! so it's probably going to be a negotiation gameto get price reduced to cover the cost of fixing those niggles. Still my solicitor seems really on it so I'm leaving it up to her to sort out just now. She did a similar purchase for a friend recently and it all went really well.

and breath!

DesperateHousewife21 · 01/06/2012 07:41

Thanks nervous it's horrible waiting I just want to know! I don't even know how low the hormone is because I haven't seen the paperwork.

detective I was a bit miffed with the amount of monster munch too, think that's why I ate 3 bags so it felt like one normal bag!

I found baby's heartbeat with the Doppler again yesterday really loud and clear that time and sounded like a galloping horse :)
I love having my own Doppler it's so reassuring.

SwissArmyWife · 01/06/2012 08:18

Chunky I've been the same wrt movements, just have to remember you can't really feel alot until around 18 weeks anyway. I've been feeling baby more and more over the last few days but it still isn't regular. I'm 17wks today.

mrswee Have you heard of the New Era tissue salts you can get? They're homeopathic so safe during pregnancy (i'm a bit of a homeopathy fanatic), I was taking some for morning sickness, but they also have some for wind. Give them a go :)
Also very much hoping your solicitor sorts everything out for you :)

I really really want to move, so that I can start decorating a nursery, but I can't see it happening any time soon. :( I only have two bedrooms at the moment so it's a little depressing.

I also very much want the next three weeks to hurry up!!

eversomuch · 01/06/2012 09:23

Hey everyone, since our main stats list keeps going missing, I've created a thread specifically for a new one, where we can all update our EDDs, sex of the babies, etc, separate from the general chat here.

The last version I could find was from two or three weeks ago, so I'm sure it needs some updating. Thought we could just see how this works.

You can find the new November Stats List here:

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/antenatal_clubs/1485512-November-2012-Stats-List

SwissArmyWife · 01/06/2012 09:26

eversomuch I updated it today :) But the seperate thread is a good idea!

ValiumQueen · 01/06/2012 09:38

19+1 and bleeding Sad Not vast amounts, but bright red with little clots. I called Triage and they say not to worry unless soaking a pad, and to rest, so no work for me today. Have not felt much movement at all in this pregnancy due to anterior placenta. I think I have felt it move this morning, but praying for big kicks to reassure me. Slight cramping too. Trying to be philosophical about it all, but easier said than done.

Iheartpasties · 01/06/2012 09:46

Valiumqueen I am thinking of you, take it easy.

DesperateHousewife21 · 01/06/2012 09:50

valium hope everything is ok, keep us updated ((hugs))

Thechick · 01/06/2012 09:57

Hey Valium, its a good sign that triage aren't too worried. ((((hugs)))) from me too.

ValiumQueen · 01/06/2012 10:08

Thank you for the hugs x

When I spoke to Triage the lady asked how the afterbirth was. I asked if she was a Midwife or a Plumber, and said again I was Pregnant! She said she meant the Placenta, so I said how should I f***g know! I don't think she liked me. Surely it is only an afterbirth after birth???

Bleeding easing now I am resting - had to take DD1 to school, and DD2 to Nursery as DH does not drive.

Work were very kind - I did consider going in, but would not have forgiven myself if anything happened. At least by resting I am giving buba the best chance. Nothing else can really be done at this stage.

StuntNun · 01/06/2012 10:10

Hey Valium I'm thinking of you. There's lots of benign things that can cause that so keep your cool. Any chance of the EPU doing a reassurance scan for you? When I thought I was having an ectopic pregnancy I went to A&E and the gynaecology department did a scan for me.

OP posts:
mrswee · 01/06/2012 10:11

Valiumqueen very sorry to hear of your worry. Glad Triage are not too worried about it, I hope everything is ok.
I had a bleed that sounds similar to that at almost 14 weeks with my DD, the cause to this day remains a mystery but she's healthy and it didn't recur. Def rest, in bed for as long as you can.

eversomuch I was wondering where I would find that and where I culd add myself. will do that now.

swissarmywife Thanks! I hadn't heard of New era tissue salts, I'm going to look for them now. And thanks re solicitor, I do trust her I just hope the sellers realise that this is a legal issue we have no choice on, and not that we are making a fuss about nothing!

hope everyone else is having a good friday

StuntNun · 01/06/2012 10:15

Valium I'm no expert but it's not true that there's nothing they can do. There may be a clot or fibroid or something that's causing the blood that they could pick upon a scan. Don't let them fob you off if you're worried.

OP posts:
SwissArmyWife · 01/06/2012 10:20

Oh valium I can understand that it must be a big worry for you, but it's good that it's easing up. Try and get yourself a reassurance scan and if that fails maybe a doppler for at home?
Fingers crossed it's nothing serious. x

mrswee They are great, you can get them from boots I think and wholefood shops :)

GTbaby · 01/06/2012 10:25

valium hope ur well. Keep resting and take it easy.

I haven't felt any movement yet. I'm 18+4. But this is my first and I'm not slim. So I think that might b way. I have my scan on 13 th June. Looking forward to that.

ValiumQueen · 01/06/2012 10:28

They only want to see me if bleeding and cramping significantly worse, as I am better resting than the upheaval of going to hospital etc. I had bleeding in early pregnancy with all three, but never this far on. I am 43 which puts me at higher risk of late miscarriage. I will sit tight, and if symptoms get worse I will go in.

Thank you for your support - it really helps x

Iheartpasties · 01/06/2012 10:30

(((hugs)))) for valium

ditsygem · 01/06/2012 10:34

Thinking of you Valium I can understand how worrying it must be, but I am sure all will be well. These babies do cause us worries! look after yourself and rest lots x

daisychain76 · 01/06/2012 10:56

Yes, really thinking of you Valium ((hugs)).

horseylady · 01/06/2012 11:05

Really thinking of you vallium huge hugs and keep resting and I hope everything is ok.
