I've just watched desperate housewives from last night and cried all the way through, completely involuntary I couldnt stop it from happening and I never cry at tv!

I had my scan and consultant appointment this morning just the one... little healthy baby, wriggling around lots! :) I'm 11+4 days, EDD 18th November, I was only 1 day off!
Consultant has offered me a reassurance scan at 16 weeks, which I'm very happy about. If everything is ok at 20 week scan she is happy to release me back to MW-led care.
Had a nice picture and then when we arrived home and had a proper good look, I realised it was actually 3 pictures! Bonus! Good value for money that is!

Brill news about the scans. Sorry to hear your news Jessie. I've done no fb announcing I'm trying to avoid threads I've read where I think people are being a tad dramatic and I'm also trying to avoid the majority of the human race who appear to be completely incompetent at anything :) I was evil last night. I'm feeling slightly calmer today though really need to sort some stuff out (mainly horse related) but was with my best friend this morning while one of hers was pts :( poor thing. Will hopefully feel happier soon! Good luck to the other scans today!!

Think the hormones are raging again but there's one particular poster that has appeared on the Preg forum very recently & s/he seems a bit of a zealot, patronizing & preachy & is really getting on my tits. Trying to avoid reading/commenting on threads s/he is sharing the wisdom on but its hard!! They've only recently surfaced too, & they seem a bit odd, but that could just be me!!! Anyway...

I'm just hormonal!! And I want things sorted. Problem is people (kindly) offer their opinion but don't look at the whole picture. I'll be fine. People have been kindly donating us baby things too!! Hubby very happy!!

My scan is this afternoon, my mum's meeting me at the hospital. I prayed this morning that everything would be ok. I'm so so nervous.

Who else has a scan today? I'm sure there's a few of us.

I've been following this thread for a while but didn't dare join until after my 12 week scan due to a couple of previous losses.

Had the scan on Tuesday and everything looks fine so far :)

DC2 due 7th Nov.

Welcome Libster and Kirren. Libster I'm aiming for 10/11/12 as well - nice and easy to remember. I'll be eating pineapple / riding a bike / having a hot curry whatever it takes to make that date . My two DSs were both born on 40+1 so I'm aiming for a hat trick!

My best friends adoption approval is going through at the moment so I'm hoping we'll both have babies (although hers will probably be a toddler) this year.

8 days till my scan grrrrrrr. Hope everything's still okay in there FC.

Ok! There are two arms, two legs, a head (with brain) and a beating heart. Refused to lie on his/her tummy but did a wee dance. Awesome.

Just informed the parentals that they can tell the world now.

Haven't checked everyone else's news yet. Will read back later when I am back from town. Really hope everyone is well.

Once everyone has had their dating scan I vote we have a new list. I am not so sure using the long original due date one is appropriate as many folk have not been in touch since and if they have had a loss would be sad to see their name still on as list. I cannot update the scan list as on my phone.

I've been at soft play with ds all afternoon clambering around on the equipment and going to mega slides. Felt a bit twingy so thought we better come home. I'm sure it's all ok though, it's v well cushioned in there!

Had my scan today and baby's fine! It was holding its hands together at first, like it was praying, and then stretched them both above it's head. Very chilled! Then it rolled onto its tummy, turned to face us and curled into a little ball, like a newborn does when it's sleeping :)

They dated me 12+2 so EDD is 13th Nov.

I'm still alive! Much better the last few days - no vomiting :) So glad I started back on the meds, and I seem to have the combination of drugs and timings much better. Thank goodness!

Work is proving interesting. But I'm coping much better thanks to the drugs!!

Just a flying post, am off to Aquanatal again tonight! Must go shave the forest that is my body. Ew...

Lovely news on the scans! I definitely think a new list is the way to go.

had my scan today and it was brilliant! very very active baby. the lady who done it was getting very impatient with wriggly baby who liked to turn his back to her lol. 1 day short with my dates so am due 11th november. i must say thou this little bean was jumping up and down and pushing with his feet off the side of my womb was very very entertaining. was a bouns baby wouldnt keep still because was in there 25 mins!!! dh was in awe of the whole thing the smile on his face was priceless!
