Just to say, I am soooo excited about miniscream arriving tomorrow GrinGrin

FluffyJawsOfDoom · 24/04/2012 21:08

Oh scarlet I'm brooking lots for you and LO. What crap timing! You just know this baby's destined to be an awkward bugger it's whole life, now! :o Wink

Feeling mega weepy this evening. There's absolutely nothing wrong well minor stresses at work but nothing unusual so I think it must be hormones. Luckily DH is on nights or he'd have a very soggy tshirt Blush

FluffyJawsOfDoom · 24/04/2012 21:10

Stacks that's not long to wait at all though time will undoubtedly slow to a crawl - I have my 20 week scan a few days before yours, we can handhold together Wink

TooImmatureTurtleDoves · 24/04/2012 22:36

Good luck for tomorrow Scream! So exciting!

Will catch up properly later when have had time to read the last two pages.

NinjaChipmunk · 24/04/2012 23:19

Big brooking for scream for tomorrow and scarlet. And a pompom waving yay! For far and her surprise scan.
I have almost permanent heartburn. Got a huge bottle of gaviscon advance today via the docs. I think I may stick a straw in it at this rate!

Off to bed as knackered and did far too much today!

Biscuitsandtea · 25/04/2012 06:18

Happy CS day Scream Thanks

Eh up Scarlet. We haven't had any brooking birthday twins yet (apart from the actual twins obv) - just sayin'.....

ScreamIfYouWantToGoFaster · 25/04/2012 06:42

So surreal... So nervous...

My hips aren't playing ball unfortunately :( I desperately hope this won't impact my recovery time.

All of your kind thoughts are greatly appreciated! If I have reception in the hospital I'll probably be on mn all morning anyway, trying to distract myself whilst waiting. I'll be staying away from the childbirth forums though!!

Biscuitsandtea · 25/04/2012 06:50

Go SCREAM go

And I'll see you for your first post grad night shift later Grin

musicalmrs · 25/04/2012 06:53

Brooking all goes wonderfully for you today Scream! Try not to be nervous - and I'm sure that your symptoms will start improving instantly after the CS, even if it takes a little while to be completely back to normal. Also, good point that Biscuits about birthday twins...

Scarlet, rubbish news about your MW's concerns :( Equally rubbish that they can't get you in for a scan until Friday. Try to keep positive - the MW could be completely wrong remember..

Stacks, brilliant news about your dates! They may seem like ages away but they'll creep up :)

Fluffy, I had lots of mega weepy moments in the second trimester - seem to have calmed down a bit now though! Managed to keep most away from DH though, so I didn't make him soggy on a regular basis!

Ninja, completely with you on the almost permanent heartburn. I'm living on Rennies most days - some days are better than others. Oddly gaviscon wasn't that effective for me...

FluffyJawsOfDoom · 25/04/2012 06:56

Good luck scream :)

Munx2 · 25/04/2012 07:09

Good luck scream looking forward to your update later!

And good luck scarlet fingers crossed baby cooperates.

Great news about scan dates and surprise scans, my 20 week scan is 8th may.

Sorry haven't been on much, things a bit crazy in the monkey house!

NinjaChipmunk · 25/04/2012 08:21

Go go team scream! I have just got off a bus going to Your Destination and I thought of you!

I'm number 2 on the list out of 4... Depending on the number of emergencies that could mean going in in about an hour.

Argh!!!!! Grin

Although really its good to get it over with.

FluffyJawsOfDoom · 25/04/2012 09:33

Oooo an hour! That's super exciting scream :)

musicalmrs · 25/04/2012 09:35

Scream, how exciting! Grin

Brooking it all goes wonderfully for you!

jenfraggle · 25/04/2012 09:38

Early is good, give you a chance to sort yourself out before the night shift. Also, you don't need to notify family straight away after so you can give yourself some recovery time before letting anyone apart from us know.

ScreamIfYouWantToGoFaster · 25/04/2012 10:27

First lady is out. 10 - 15 minutes until my turn. Searching for my inner calm...

jaggythistle · 25/04/2012 10:30

oh how exciting! you're going to meet your wee baby.

Grin
hawthers · 25/04/2012 10:40

musicalmrs · 25/04/2012 10:47

So exciting! Scream, hope all has gone amazingly well, and you're lovely and calm, snuggling your beautiful DD and forgetting all about your worries :)

ScrambledSmegs · 25/04/2012 10:47

Nipping in to say happy CS day Scream! So excited for you!

And yes, I'm still in denial. Will probably have to wait for 10 weeks or so till I join you all!

Smegs x
