Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

She posted on the stats thread on 4 May saying the scan showed a boy -but haven't heard anything since?

Hope all is well if you're a-lurking Loopy

musicalmrs · 16/05/2012 06:59

Also hoping all's well if you're lurking Loopy.

No baby here yet. Feeling pretty miserable as I'm in So Much Pain - my aches and pains are growing by the day. If I knew there was an end in sight I'd feel fine about this, but I'm currently thinking I may be pregnant forever...! Also think I may have read my induction date wrong - 25th rather than 23rd? - which seems all that further away! Consultant appt on Fri. Really thought I was going into full on labour last night but it appears not to be. Rather frustrated with the bouts of regular contractions that then disappear into nothingness.. but trying to remain positive that they're just guaranteeing my sneeze birth when the time comes..!

It's getting to the stage where I take so long to recover after every bout of physical activity (i.e. walking) that it seems pointless... even though I know that it's important to keep active.

Sorry for sounding so miserable! Hope Jen and Wants are having more success!

Scarlet, I hope you're right about a baby by the weekend. One of my best friends goes on a conference on Sunday and is worried about missing it!

Maybe, lovely to see you over here, and thanks for the BFP summary! I'm sure you'll be over here very soon.. :)

scarletfingernail · 16/05/2012 07:12

Oh Musical I know exactly how you're feeling. 3 weeks ago I was 5 days over my due date and I remember feeling really fed up. DD was 40+9 by the time she arrived. The end is in sight though, your LO will be here no later than 10th days time (providing your induction doesn't take as long as mine!) But O still think it won't come to that.

Wants3 · 16/05/2012 07:56

musical I also had from 9pm-4am with regular painful contractions! Still getting them now but not so frequent, grrr! I have my antenatal group this morning so I am going to ask the midwife to have a listen as baby is a bit quieter than usual. I might see if she can check if the contractions are actually doing anything!
I am currently waiting for a load of balast to be delivered ready for the foundations!
If all goes well at the hospital I have a breastfeeding appointment with the maternity support worker at the local children's centre. DH is also working a short day today so time should pass a bit quicker:)

jenfraggle · 16/05/2012 09:05

I had contractions for the first time last night. I ended up having to take paracetamol to be able to get some sleep. It was constant pain that got worse when I had tightening. They have gone now but fingers crossed that the sweep has stimulated something.

Biscuitsandtea · 16/05/2012 09:09

Go Jen Grin

And Wants and Musical too Grin

What do we want?

Babies

When do we want them?

Now

jenfraggle · 16/05/2012 09:28

It must be all these BFPs from the other thread :o

clickingtock · 16/05/2012 09:29

Jen, Wants, Musical Good luck, good luck, good luck! Thanks Thanks Thanks I hope it's the best experience for all of you. You are so close to meeting your babies. Hurray.

Biscuitsandtea · 16/05/2012 09:52

Help yourself m'dear Grin

musicalmrs · 16/05/2012 10:06

Wants, how frustrating! I was having them 5-6 mins apart as I posted this morning, but not hugely painful - gone again now, obviously! At the same time, I'd rather not go to the hospital until I know something's happening - don't want to get there then be sent home over and over - think that would dishearten me more than antyhing.

Jen, exciting! Grin. I personally think both you and Wants will beat me!

Just been for a walk down town, though cleverly forgot my purse so couldn't buy anything - d'oh! Feeling slightly more upbeat now that I've planned lots of things for the day, though would be more than happy for my plans to be interrupted...

Scarlet, I remember how fed up you were feeling :( I seem to be going through a bit of a rollercoaster emotion wise - at some points I'm fine and accepting of the fact that lots of people go overdue, at other points I'm so fed up with aches and pains that I just feel like crying. Anyway, feeling more positive now thankfully..!

Biscuits, impressed by your display as always :)

NoMaybeAboutIt · 16/05/2012 10:23

Musical, Jen, Wants Grin The babies are coming

I am literally going to be glued to you lot all day!

jenfraggle · 16/05/2012 10:38

Maybe we all know you belong over here now. Sorry to disappoint but only have a very squirmy baby today, no other symptoms. It's normally sleeping for most of the time but has been really active since the sweep.

GenericDietCola · 16/05/2012 10:51

Ooh I will be looking for news of the babies from Musical, Wants and Jen! I am brooking that you will all have your sneeze births before the week is out!

I am one of the newly PSEPPs from the rat smacketing thread, but I'm a bit scared to post here too much yet. Have seen GP today and she is arranging an 8 week scan for me, so I will lurk about until then!

Biscuitsandtea · 16/05/2012 11:10

Lurk away Generic - rest assured we're brooking like mad for you Smile

How many weeks are you now? How long until that 8 week scan? Hope you're doing ok xx

GenericDietCola · 16/05/2012 11:26

Biscuits I am 5 weeks on Friday, so only 3 weeks to wait

Biscuitsandtea · 16/05/2012 11:38

You have my complete sympathy Gen - I can clearly recall just how long each day lasts between BFP-day and 8-week-scan-day Confused.

We're right behind you my love Smile

musicalmrs · 16/05/2012 11:47

Generic, brooking like mad for you! Lovely to see you over here - can sympathise completely.

Maybe, I think I'm out of the running for today - I think I have a stubborn sticky baby here! I think Wants or Jen will definitely be first - possibly Wants!

Have just discovered that my DH has packed away the rubber gloves in the loft so I can't do any of the cleaning I'd intended on doing today - what a shame! Sadly there's still plenty of paperwork I could tackle instead...

Wants3 · 16/05/2012 11:57

Just got back from antenatal, very happy baby in there! Ialso lost a bit of weight this week so am feeling much more positive after last night. 2 ladies had their fresh babies with them and I got cuddles:) just time to have lunch before I am back out for 1pm- this day will whizz and hopefully all the activity will really get things going.

jenfraggle · 16/05/2012 12:01
jenfraggle · 16/05/2012 13:51

I just had a brown streaked blob when wiping myself. Looks like the sweep dislodged something...

Stacks · 16/05/2012 14:05

Jen exciting!!

clickingtock · 16/05/2012 14:05

Whoopydoo - here you go jen!!!

Hello over here Gen - you and I are v close; only two or three weeks between us, I think. And then there's Whims. We are all due in January (just about?), and will brook no argument that our little beans will be sticky.

ScreamIfYouWantToGoFaster · 16/05/2012 14:30

Congrats to Generic on your BFP!!! That's sooooooo exciting!! Congrats to Whims as well of course! I haven't "met" Face yet, but all successful rat smackers are like family - congrats to you as well! You all have No Brooking beans so they will be strong and sticky!

Maybe you clearly belong over here! Stop flirting with the pee sticks and SMACK THAT RAT! The pee sticks will be powerless before your bindingly obvious pg!

Sounds like Musical, Wants and Jen are all really heating up!! Heading for a triple sneeze birth... No Brooking hard for you all!

NoMaybeAboutIt · 16/05/2012 14:32
