Hi all,
Hoping to snare a few of you who has just found out the great news like me, to share the journey and have a big moan about all the lovely effects pregnancy has on us!
It's no.2 for me!

Hi folks, am afraid it wasn't good news for me at the EPU today. I had a scan and the baby didn't have a heartbeat. I should have been almost 9 weeks, but the baby measured only 7. I've had a fair bit more red bleeding today and think my body may be preparing to get rid of the baby, but I've booked in for a medically managed miscarriage as I don't really feel like waiting for things to happen naturally - I suppose that could take some time and I'd rather get things over with. I'm ok really, I've made peace with it - I suspect something was wrong with the baby and this was nature's way of dealing with it. I'd rather this happened than I find out at a later scan that something was wrong and I had to make an awful decision.

oh I'm sorry, backward - I had an experience like that 3 months before I got pregnant with DS. I was very sad about it but you're absolutely right, it wasn't to be, and you have the best way of thinking about it.

backward, I hope everything goes ok with the medical management. I unfortunately know from experience this waiting for it to be over bit is particularly hard.

Also Dorothy sorry about your news todaybut thank god one is hanging in there, get plenty of rest.

Found out today my scan will be June 11th, gutted as I will be 14+ weeks then and desperately wanted one around 12 wk Mark. Mum assures me it is a good omen though as it would have been her mums birthday on the day which has made me feel a big happier-almost like shes looking down on us
