I know!Grin But similar to you, I know I've just jinxed it and she'll be up every hour tonight.....but for now I'm wondering who the baby in the Moses basket it, and what have they done with Lauren?? Nap number 2 in the basket Smile Things are clearly going too well!

Davinaaddict · 14/05/2012 13:16

Oops posted too soon - glad things have calmed down for you McKayz and hope the pain goes soon Smile

McKayz · 14/05/2012 19:20

Well my hips are knackered. I have a GP appt tomorrow and I might see if he can get me a physio appt.

Trouble Do I stick with 3 raspberry leaf tablets? Or should I take more nearer the end?

TroubleAndFyfe · 14/05/2012 21:13

Sad poor you mckayz I really sympathise. I stuck with 3 RLT but you could increase to 4 if you wanted...depends whether you're wanting to do 2-10 in under 30 minutes! Wink just kidding about that last bit!

McKayz · 14/05/2012 21:18

Yes I do want to do 2-10 in under 30 minutes Grin I'll stick with the 3 then. Thanks.

TroubleAndFyfe · 14/05/2012 21:42

Grin 30 minutes seemed to pass pretty quick!

TroubleAndFyfe · 15/05/2012 09:14

Morning! Grin do you ladies change your babies' nappies every feed during the night? I have done so far, they're not particularly wet you see, and I have bamboo boosters if I wanted to make them last longer, just wondering what the done thing is as have read about people 'barely waking' for feeds etc. Confused

foolserrand · 15/05/2012 09:24

Hello all! Wow, so much to catch up on. I've been a bit ill recently (scary temperature and flu) so sorry for being rubbish. Had a read but now need to go and make breakfast. Will reply later and then crack on with draw something. :o

Glad everyone seems to be doing so well. Long may it continue!

Morning! No, J usually goes from 7pm to 7am without a change, unless she's signalling that she really needs it. I think we stopped changing in the night at about 12 weeks - it just caused more fuss as she used to cry. Sometimes she needs a change a bit earlier, like 6am. The nappies are very heavy but she's never had nappy rash.

That's with the Flip - we did use a bamboo booster but they're quite thick and were starting to leak because they held the wrap away from her legs, as she now sleeps on her side.

She's in the bednest or co-sleeping and is back to waking a few times a night. I think I'm awake for about 1 min as she starts to feed, usually [lazy mummy face]. I suspect if I actually got up and fed her properly she might only wake once, but she just has little feeds instead (less chance of sick that way too).

We'll be testing that soon as I think she's going to start staying in her own room in a few weeks Smile.

foolserrand · 15/05/2012 09:35

Trouble I don't change her necessarily but I check every time. I definitely don't properly wake up to feed her though.

TroubleAndFyfe · 15/05/2012 10:06

Thanks! He's getting more efficient with his night feeds so we're awake for half an hour instead of an hour now but think I could cut that down to 20 mins if I stop changing him at night. He's 11 weeks now so nearly at the point you stopped ghost!
So glad you're back fools, I missed you! Grin

Davinaaddict · 15/05/2012 10:23

Morning - I don't change either unless she needs it, which most of the time she doesn't. She seems to be mostly dry overnight, but makes up for it during the day Smile Her last change is normally around 9-10pm, then first around 7-8am.

Hi fools sorry you've been feeling ill Sad Nice to have you back with us Smile

Good luck with the transition to her own room ghost I will await with interest as I'm dreading when we have to do the same Confused Although yesterday's Moses basket sleeping gave me some small hope Smile Lauren managed about 2.5 naps in it, then wanted cuddles for the rest of the day, which I not so secretly loved Wink Try again today!

AnchorBun · 15/05/2012 10:52

Hi all!

McKayz sorry to hear you're suffering, hope you get a physio referral asap.

Hope you're feeling better now Fools

Trouble, I don't change Lilly overnight either (unless she needs it of course!)

Lilly has her scan today, will let you know how it goes. Little bit nervous but mostly glad it's finally here, fairly confident all is well. It's strange to think that we wouldn't have been aware of the cyst at all if it weren't for the late unnecessary growth scan as she's shown no signs at all. Could've done without the stress TBH! Grin

Davinaaddict · 15/05/2012 11:14

Hope today goes well for you Bun Smile

Hope you manage to get sorted at the GP today as well, McKayzSmile

McKayz · 15/05/2012 11:24

Fools hope you feel better soon.

Bun I hope the scan goes well! Smile

I'm not as achy as yesterday but still pretty sore. Dr is referring me. He also gave me more tablets for heartburn. 28 tablets and he doesn't think I'll need them all.

I did experience the strange feeling that I can only describe as feeling like the baby was about to fall out while walking up the hill to school.

MammaInTheMaking · 15/05/2012 12:15

I hope the scan goes really well Bun.

The Queen and Duke came to Bromley today on the Jubilee tour. Apparently town has been in the festival spirit with bunting, flags, big screens. I'd have loved to have gone for a look seeing as i'm working at home, but felt that would have been a bit naughty! In exciting news, the decal i ordered for the nursery is waiting for collection at the post office, so that's a little job for later. My DP is doing an exam today 2-5. He's been working so hard towards it, just hope the right questions come up....

TroubleAndFyfe · 15/05/2012 16:05

bun hope the scan goes well! Smile

AnchorBun · 15/05/2012 16:07

It's all gone!! Grin Grin Grin

TroubleAndFyfe · 15/05/2012 16:26

GrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrin hooray!!!!!!!!! Fantastic news, you must be over the moon! What are you doing to celebrate? Grin

Davinaaddict · 15/05/2012 16:44

Bun that's fabulous news!!! Grin You must be so happy - crack open the bubbly and share with us Grin

Good to hear the docs are looking after you McKayz I remember the falling out feeling well Grin

Mamma you are far too good! I'd have gone to look, given that it's not an every day event Smile We've got the olympic torch coming up the main road at the end of our estate so we'll all be going to have a look Smile

I've realised I have less than a month before we're going to a silver wedding party and I have to wear a posh frock Confused So yesterday I did my wii Zumba, today I've been for a loooong walk (with a ridiculously steep hill I didn't realise was that steep!) and I'm going to dig out the wii fit as well. And I'm going to have to get to grips with expressing as well. I can't imagine feeding whilst in a posh frock, so I really hope Lauren takes to a bottle! Grin I'll be taking your advice though and practice before the night Smile

AnchorBun · 15/05/2012 17:22

We're very very the moon! Grin We all made cakes when we got back from the hospital and inhaled ate them for pudding, we had an especially messy (DS) spag bol for dinner too Smile Wine, Mad Men and a big sigh of relief to follow when the kiddlywinks are in bed Grin

Thanks ladies x

MammaInTheMaking · 15/05/2012 17:31

Amazing news bun hooray!!! GrinGrin And some rather great celebrations too, I fancy spag bol now Smile

I was very tempted to go and see the queen davina but I don't think I could have even made it into the town centre and found somewhere to stand Sad The buses were all on diversion and my poor hips scream at me when I'm up for more than about 20 mins. Just had a message from my mum saying they got a glimps of her though!

Just made a prawn red Thai curry to say well done to DP for doing his exam today. Hungryyyyyyyyy!!!!!

ghosteditor · 15/05/2012 20:36

Bun that is teh awesomes Grin. What wonderful news! Give her a cuddle from us when she's next awake!

Davinaaddict · 17/05/2012 14:45

Hi all - hope you're all doing well Smile

We're still busy getting out and about, although I was nearly late this morning thanks to a certain little madam not finishing her breakfast until 10am - we started it at 8.40am!! Although she did get dressed in between Grin

Davinaaddict · 17/05/2012 14:45

Oops! The tumbleweed Grin
