Kayzr · 03/04/2012 21:06

Ellie that's good news. Congratulations on your little boy!! Grin they are super cool!!

Bun yay for Trope!!! I want to hire you as my updater in June Grin

I'm just relaxing in the bath. Tomorrow is going to be super hectic I think. Need to decorate 24 cupcakes, sort out big cake, dye hair, pack for weekend away, pick up dad from station, make sure we have got everything sorted.

But I'll be checking in on Trope's progress.

TroubleAndFyfe · 03/04/2012 21:50

That reference doesn't ring any bells bun glad to hear trope is still in good spirits!
Congratulations ellie! Glad you'll be hoping the boys team, that evens things out a bit! Sorry you had your surprise a little earlier than planned though!
kayzr what date is the wedding? Sounds like it must be very soon from your post (terrible memory, sorry)

Kayzr · 03/04/2012 22:27

Trouble it's on Thursday!! Shock

TroubleAndFyfe · 04/04/2012 01:50

Shock indeed kayzr! How exciting! You sound pretty organised; are you? Smile it's our first anniversary on the 29th so we need to decide what we're going to do to celebrate - we said we'd go away for a night every year, even if it was just camping... I'd love for it to be our first camp of the year but will need to wait until nearer the time to see if the weather is warm enough to take Fyfe so had better plan an alternative I suppose! Grin hee hee, that's got me excited though thinking about your wedding, you're going to have the best time! Grin

Kayzr · 04/04/2012 06:53

Yeah pretty much organised. I'm sure we've forgotten something though! Confused

aBundanceOfTime · 04/04/2012 08:20

!! Kayzr! That came around so quickly! Shock As long as you've got each other, it won't matter if you've forgotten anything Grin
I can be your official announcer for your wedding! Shock "Kayzr is walking down the aisle..." Wink

That's a lovely tradition to get started Trouble Smile

The newsreader catchphrase was Jim Carey in Bruce Almighty. Love that film, it's thanks to it that I remember my blood group: AB Positive they ain't sticking me with no needle! Grin Sorry, off topic a bit - am very sleepy today, still have stingy, blurry eyes!

Ellie congratulations on having a boy! Super testicle spotting skills! Grin

ghosteditor · 04/04/2012 08:45

You sound so organised kayzr! Hope it's fabulous! I loved my wedding day, was sooo much fun. We were not so organised and I was putting together the ceremony music in the car on the way to the venue (the day before though - not quite that slack!). hope it's fan for you Grin.

ghosteditor · 04/04/2012 08:46

[does the baby dance to get trope her fuzzy]

foolserrand · 04/04/2012 09:04

Kay's getting married in the morning! Ding dong the bells are going to chime!

You lot are seriously lucky that's typed and not actually my dulcet tones this early in the morning! Or at any time of the day for that matter! Very good luck getting everything ready today!

Bun Bruce Almighty? He was a reporter, was he not? Really thrilled we've got contractions now. Fab about a private room too! Go Trope! Go Fuzzy! although, kindly hurry up, my arms are tired from the pom poms

Ellie very happy your scan went so well yesterday. Can only imagine how shocked you must be to have been wrong. I wouldn't know though, having never been anything other than right. :o By the way, love the pressure if I want to keep my spot! You can go next if you want, am not actually ready at all. The crib is in my parents' loft, car seat in yorkshire, clothes are scattered about the country and furniture.... well, don't have a delivery date yet.

Trouble, (that name suits you so much better by the way!) camping sounds great for your anniversary. Would love to take ds and the dogs but not sure I could manage solo and am petrified of zombies and dh won't go as he was dragged as a child (mil is a scout leader) so now hates it.

Well, I hit 37 weeks tomorrow. Not sure how that happened! Got midwife today, may need to hash out some sort of birth plan, location, all that other stuff. Feeling very frustrated this morning. I want to clean but if I do too much my back hurts. I got no sleep thanks to a small intruder forcing me onto the floor (dont really mind that too much though as he feels better this morning). Oh, and I'd rather like to regain my... intimate (sorry tmi and its not late or Friday or nuffink wonders why phone can spell nuffink without help) relations. They've really taken a hit recently thanks to tiredness, general discomfort and my stomach getting in the way we're used to working around his!

Was about to just end this post, but decided that was a pretty rotten way to go out so will instead leave you with this promise its not dragon butter.

foolserrand · 04/04/2012 09:24

Ok, I did start that very early this morning. Must remember to refresh before posting when life happens.

OP posts:
TroubleAndFyfe · 04/04/2012 09:39

I like Bruce almighty too. I saw the sequel on telly the other week actually, not bad. Smile
Grin fools that one of your main focuses is regaining intimate relations! I've seen that video before, it is brilliant! Grin
I thought I'd start the betting for fuzzy, stats style...you have two chances to win, date and weight:

Fuzzy 5th April 2012 (kayzr's wedding day!) 8lbs 3oz

TroubleAndFyfe · 04/04/2012 09:40
aBundanceOfTime · 04/04/2012 10:04

Yeah he was Fools, with aspirations of being lead anchor Smile Have run out of news catchphrases now I think! Sad

Love the link! and so does my pregnant friend Grin

Won't comment on the the fact that I've only recently had enough energy to regain 'intimate relations'

Well Trouble I did say to DP on Monday that my bet is today so I'm sticking with it (promise I've not had any updates saying she's dilated 9cm! Grin)

Baby Bets

Trouble - 5th April, 8lbs 3oz
Bun - 4th April, 8lbs 9oz

Wink
MammaInTheMaking · 04/04/2012 10:16

Hehe! Just been catching up on the thread since leaving work yesterday and when it came to the quote i was sat here going, I KNOW I KNOW!! But then as i read on it was all revealed! I'm so useless at films that i've shocked myself in knowing that reference...

Trouble bet: Fuzzy 5th April 2012 (kayzr's wedding day!) 8lbs 3oz
Mamma bet: Fuzzy 5th April 2012 9lbs 2oz

MammaInTheMaking · 04/04/2012 10:18

Aaah cross posts!

Bun bet: Fuzzy 4th April 2012 8lbs 9oz
Trouble bet: Fuzzy 5th April 2012 (kayzr's wedding day!) 8lbs 3oz
Mamma bet: Fuzzy 5th April 2012 9lbs 2oz

aBundanceOfTime · 04/04/2012 10:25

Bummer, sorry Mamma, you're still a winner in my eyes Grin

foolserrand · 04/04/2012 10:32

Bun: 4th April 2012 8lbs 9oz
Trouble: 5th April 2012 (kayzr's wedding day!) 8lbs 3oz
Mamma: 5th April 2012 9lbs 2oz
Fools: 4th April 2012 8lbs 6oz - just to up the ante, between 9pm and midnight.

Trouble I knew it, but couldn't remember and so asked dh (film geek) and he told me.Blush

That's my main concern because its the only reason I put up with him! :o Am a bit worried, truth be told, as it caused me real pain for over a year after ds. Don't think I can do that again!

Ds keeps coming over under the guise of giving me hugs. He is really just wanting to wipe his nose on me. I am less than impressed.

OP posts:
MammaInTheMaking · 04/04/2012 10:36

Yay Bun :o:o

OK, so I was just having my mid-morning snack (a raisin and apple Go-Ahead biscuit thing) and this woman's just come along and told me off for eating something which contains so much sugar!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG Angry!!!!!!!!! SOD OFF!!!!! I have museli with zero fat yoghurt for breakfast, my fruit biscuit thing about now, a sandiwch at lunch and a dinner with a load of veg plus i snack on dried fruit in the evenings. HOW DARE SOMEONE HAVE A GO AT ME FOR EATING A FRUIT BISCUIT!!!!!!!!!!!!! AngryAngryAngry

TroubleAndFyfe · 04/04/2012 10:36

Hahaha re your DS fools! Grin
bun, I can't tell if you're joking about the 9cm update or not? Blush

TroubleAndFyfe · 04/04/2012 10:41

OMFG mamma! Angry what a bitch! A man once felt the need to shout across the road at me for drinking a mars drink (mmm...mars drink) ?! Bizarre, I mean in an area of London where the majority of people snort crack cocaine you'd think a girl would get some forgiveness for an effin' chocolate milkshake?
I wasn't pregnant either so even more Angry on your behalf! AngryAngryAngry

MammaInTheMaking · 04/04/2012 10:50

He had a go at you for drinking a mars drink?!?!?!?!?! what a total idiot!!! what was he getting at???????

At a conference about a month ago with work there were lots of yummy drinks during the breaks so i had some fresh fruit smoothie. Then later on i had a Capri-Sun out of the fridge. A colleague (male) felt the need to tell me off for having so much sugar in those drinks. I couldn't believe it!!!!! What's it got to do with anyone other than me, baby and DP??? I'm the same size all over as i was pre-preg except I have a bowling ball strapped to my tummy so it's not as if i'm piling on the weight....

We just become public property don't we! Angry

MammaInTheMaking · 04/04/2012 10:53

The other thing that has irritated me is once in a blue moon i reeeaaaallllly fancy a (small) glass of coke when in the pub. So, why not?? I don't drink tea or coffee and i'm T-total so no drink ever so a coke now and then is no issue. Yet people around me look at me as if i'm committing a total sin.

foolserrand · 04/04/2012 11:20

I drink lucozade. Not all the time, but when I'm really tired now. Used to be a total red bull and pro plus addict so needed something to help me transition. Absolutely appalled by those who feel entitled to comment. I'm working on my retorts and warning stares, just in case.

In other news, we have our names! Very excited. Now, watch me change my mind again!

aBundanceOfTime · 04/04/2012 11:33

Shock and Angry at the comments you've all had!! Luckily for them I never had any of that. What planks!

Haha Trouble I was joking! Grin

Still no news, am getting excited that this might mean Trope's in established labour! FXed!

MammaInTheMaking · 04/04/2012 11:34

Ooohh Fools that's lovely that you have names sorted out. Will you keep us hanging or do we get a sneak peek? We have our first names sorted although middle names are taking a bit of thought. DP's surname starts with a G so there are looooaaaaaddddssss of 3 letter words ending in G that we need to avoid for initials.

I hope your midwife app goes well today Fools

Any more BONGS Bun?
