Ok, so I started typing a post 2 days ago and never finished/posted it Blush I have no idea which way is up anymore Grin Try again! And now what would have been a quick post will more than likely be a long catch up post Confused

Thanks for the tips Bun - we're also using CBeebies far too much a bit Grin. Sorry to hear about your milk Sad. Trouble has said it perfectly (as usual!) with regards to both giving your baby girl the best start in life and talking to DP re: depression. And you're definitely not a downer on our lovely thread! Smile Hooray for the iPhone although you may never want another phone again Grin

Sorry fools Blush I'm glad you got some rest but rubbish that we didn't entertain you Sad Must try harder Wink Your lunch sounds awesome and I could just eat it now Envy You've probably got an answer on your cousin, but why not just ignore her on Draw? She will hopefully get the message eventually And if she asks, you could always say that it says it's waiting for her and the game has broken shame Ah - just seen the message you've sent her Grin Can't wait to hear her response!
Love your DS's earring comments Grin
And hot pink kitchen?! We need photosGrin
Sorry about your DH's tantrums Sad I'm glad he seems to be sorting himself out.

Sorry you've had a crappy weekend too ghost, but glad your SIL is on the mend with her eating disorder. Bugger about the ankle though!

Flippin' 'eck ellie - a litre of milk! That's amazing going! I hope my expressing goes even half as well as that Smile And fabulous that he's now fed over 24 hours by himself - how long before you can escape they send you home? Oop just seen that hopefully its tomorrow - yay! Grin

Happy belated birthday McKayz Thanks Sorry about the dreaded pox, but glad he's feeling well Sad I've heard it's been doing the rounds too but DS has managed to avoid it so far. Love the idea of Skyping during the birth Grin So rubbish he'll be away for it though Sad How far on will you be when he goes? (apologies if I've missed that)

I think that's most things caught up. So we've had a busy time the past few days. We went out and did some shopping yesterday, then today we had a visit from the health visitor (completely pointless that was!), then we went into my old office to see all my old work mates, and then finally went to register Lauren's birth before we came home and had full family nap time Blush Grin Oh and DH weighed Lauren today and if our scales are to be believed she now weighs 10.5lb Shock No wonder she won't fit in the Moses basket any more! And here endeth the essay Grin

Davinaaddict · 24/04/2012 22:15

Ok think I went bit mad on the emoticons on that post!

McKayz · 24/04/2012 22:23

Trouble help me with the picture!! Please??

TroubleAndFyfe · 24/04/2012 22:48

Which picture, can't remember what I drew you! Smile

Davinaaddict · 24/04/2012 23:52

God my draw skills are non existent this evening! Sorry all! Blush

foolserrand · 25/04/2012 07:45

Davina, I don't remember thinking there was anything wrong with your skills last night.

Well, today is this little squatter's last chance to come early. Was woken up with back pain, felt almost kidney related, not baby, so wonder if I've been kicked in the night (we had a little cold visitor). Tried a hot curry last night ouch but think the effects of that only kick in on the way out. My dear mum is coming over today to play with small pain while I finish the sorting and tidying upstairs. Should probably pack a bag too. This baby will be here soon enough and it would be nice to have everything together!

Ok, off to stop procrastinating and start the day, hope everyone has a good one!

Trouble It is a picture of a couple of buildings, a person lying on the floor maybe dead and a person on top of the building. I have spent ages on it, DH doesn't know, DS1 thinks spiderman and I even text a pic to my Mum Grin

Come on Baby Fools!!!!!

I am going to attempt to start my bag today. Having one of those moments when I can't remember what goes in the ruddy thing.

TroubleAndFyfe · 25/04/2012 07:57

Love it that you still haven't packed a bag fools! Have you booked your vajazzle yet?

TroubleAndFyfe · 25/04/2012 08:00

X posts mckayz! Yes, the guy on the floor (with blood coming out of him Grin) is dead! The one on top of the building has a rifle, he is the killer but no one would've seen him do it as he is out of sight and shot the guy from far away!
Sorry, must've been a crap drawing!

McKayz · 25/04/2012 08:09

Ahhhhh right!!

foolserrand · 25/04/2012 08:47

I know!Grin Sounds very cool.

Why would I pack my bag? That would indicate some level of preparedness that simply does not exist! I was filling the walls for the nursery last night, the furniture arrives on Friday. Shocking that we still haven't painted or cleared it!

Vajazzle, no, not booked. Although I did let ds loose on my stomach with pens. It looks like humpty dumpty went drag. Hmm It'll look amazing when all deflated. Grin

Baby won't appear today because dh has just said the back pain could be the start of labour. I really should remember how it felt with ds, but am pretty sure this is muscular or toddler gbh. Grin

Ugh, I need to get dressed but just thinking about how much I need to do has left me very tired. Blush

TroubleAndFyfe · 25/04/2012 09:23

Er...AngrySad that's not fair mckayz! Draw something said 'you are watching mckayz guess the word sniper' but it hadn't given you the letters to make sniper! Wtf?

TroubleAndFyfe · 25/04/2012 09:24

Oh, but we're still on turn 41...Confused

McKayz · 25/04/2012 09:24

I had that yesterday with someone else. I had to draw 'Barber' but they didn't have the letters. I have no idea how it works!

Davinaaddict · 25/04/2012 09:51

Come on baby fools! Stop messing around now, as your mum and her slightly nutty MN mates all want to meet you Grin Fingers crossed for you that it's not toddler gbh and is things moving in the labour direction. If so, I might be right with my guess of a due date baby Smile

TroubleAndFyfe · 25/04/2012 11:17

Do you lot think we could ever make a meet up work?! Maybe at the end of 2012 so all the babies are here and have time to settle? Blush

McKayz · 25/04/2012 12:11

I think I'm the most north person here!! About 25 miles from York.

TroubleAndFyfe · 25/04/2012 12:32

So Leicester or Birmingham may work (if people wanted to)! Smile

foolserrand · 25/04/2012 12:57

Leicester Forest services could work! I say this as a half northern monkey, half southern fairy. Mum always refused to stop for a loo break until then as it was half way (junction 18 m25 to Sheffield).

Trouble, think you are relatively close to our summer day trip - always take the dogs to Camber Sands for a day and give them a bit of a change.

OP posts:
Davinaaddict · 25/04/2012 13:14

Haha - we had the same thing as you fools, with Leicester Forest services, everytime we went down to see my Gparents. It was roughly half way between Halifax & Maidenhead Grin

I think we should plan a meet up, and if we're looking towards the end of 2012, then that gives us loads of time to organise it and for me to learn the MN meet up etiquette Grin I've never had a meet up before BlushSmile

elliebug · 25/04/2012 14:00

Ohhh yes, a party!!!! Well WE ARE HOME!!!!!! I have no idea what to do with all my milk or Jacob! , I am running out if things to store it in even though I relocated a lot of bottles from the hospital!!!

McKayz · 25/04/2012 14:13

WAHOOOOO!!!!!!!!! Ellie That is brilliant news!!!

I will be able come to a meet up in Leicester. But only when DH is here due to the not being able to drive thing. So he's home from end of June to middle of August and then from end of October til End of December roughly.

But if no dates work out for when he's home then you lot have meet up without me and we can always try to plan another one.
