Meet sounds genius! Was just saying to dp last night that it's a shame we all live all over the place. I'll be up in N.Wales at the beginning of November for my mum's 60th so that would be rather handy. But I would try my damnedest to make it at any other time too!

I'm writing this on my brand spanking new iPhone! It's all pretty and white Grin dp Surprised me with it last night, I went to sit down after dinner and there it was next to my laptop!! Shock Grin

Sorry I can't do a proper post ATM, Lilly's calling

YAY Ellie!! So happy for you Smile I have some Lansinoh breast milk storage bags I can send you if you want? Not sure how many are left in the box, will look later. But they're going spare if you want them, just PM me you address and I'll post them in the morning Smile

Davinaaddict · 25/04/2012 14:34

Fabulous news ellie! And I'm so impressed at your milk production although I now have mental images of buckets and Tupperware full of milk all over your house Grin

Sorry McKayzr, but there's no way we'd organise a meet up when you can't come Smile Or I'm sure we could sort travel arrangements out or arrange to meet somewhere more accessible by train (I HATE motorway driving, so train would be my preferred transport anyway). Plus if it's a party, then non driving is probably the more sensible option Grin

AnchorBun · 25/04/2012 14:45

Just had a quick check, there's 16 bags Ellie

I had the same image Davina just with pans and vases like when you get a leaky ceiling Grin

Davinaaddict · 25/04/2012 14:46

Ooh xpost Bun Enjoy your new toy Grin

MammaInTheMaking · 25/04/2012 14:48

Brilliant news ellie. :o:o:o:o:o:o

oh and COME ON BABY FOOLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hurry scurry out of there!!

foolserrand · 25/04/2012 15:40

ellie that is BRILLIANT! Home sweet home, eh? I am actually fearful of your milk production though! Very glad you and Jacob decided not to wait for us, don't think this child will be coming any time soon. The little beggar seems far too comfy.Angry

Still, I get to enjoy my last few days with ds who is currently snoring on my lap I do worry this baby will change the dynamic negatively. But I'm sure that's normal and complete rubbish!

Have asked dh to buy me a lottery ticket, something I never do! But I've decided a big win and new baby in one evening is totally realistic! :o

OP posts:
Davinaaddict · 25/04/2012 18:07

Sorry - come for a rant. So I ask DH to change DD's nappy to be met with a very curt no. Angry I know he's pissed off with the fact that she cries whenever she goes to him, and that it takes ages for her to settle when she's with him, but FFS how does he expect that to improve if he refuses to take the opportunity! Angry I wish it was different so that I could get a proper break, and not spend all the time when she's not either attached to me/asleep on me listening to her crying Sad But there's nothing I can do about it, so stropping in my direction really doesn't help Angry It's the first time he's refused to help to be fair, but I'm tired out and dreading him going back to work so I'm probably overreacting but I'm so Angry

Oh and he's also pissed off with going back to work and his new phone not turning up (he drowned his old one in his cup of tea Hmm )

Davinaaddict · 25/04/2012 18:19

And to add insult to injury, the fecker is now snoring his head off on the sofa Angry And he doesn't even do any of the night wakings Angry

McKayz · 25/04/2012 18:20

Throw something at him!!!

Childish yes but it's what I would probably do.

ghosteditor · 25/04/2012 18:21

ellie that's BRILLIANT! Welcome home!

davina Confused

TroubleAndFyfe · 25/04/2012 18:34

Well done ellie! Great news!
Glad you're all up for a party! Early November sounding good then to fit in with bun and mckayz? I'm guessing a weekend so that OH can help with other kids and we can bring the babies? Could everyone stretch to a travelodge ish over night stay as it's a long way to travel and it'd be nice to have a drink? Actually, I suppose some of us could stay and sine of us not, depending on circumstances. Any dates in November are good with me, any preferences? It'd be good to set a date now so that we all keep it free even though we don't need to organise all the details yet Grin

foolserrand · 25/04/2012 18:58

Any date is good for me. However, please remember my baby won't be here by November :( the little pain will never exit. Am considering flashing a torch up my fanjo to help her find her way. It's seriously unfair, my backside is on fire thanks to last night's hot side of the sun curry, but she's not even had the decency to give me more than mildly uncomfortable bh. Nobody say anything about stubborn like her mum, I may implore!

Davina, I agree with McKayz that you need to throw something at your dh. Maybe the nappy you just changed.....

OP posts:
elliebug · 25/04/2012 20:43

Bun, have messaged you thanks Smile
I prefer to drive rather than train so maybe I can collect people on the way or something. I second the dirty nappy throwing!!
Fools you are obviously a very good home! High five your working placenta Smile

TroubleAndFyfe · 25/04/2012 21:10

Where do you live ellie?

foolserrand · 25/04/2012 21:13

I am not allowed to complain until end of play tomorrow. I am not allowed to complain until end of play tomorrow. I am not allowed to complain until end of play tomorrow. I am not allowed to complain until end of play tomorrow. I am not allowed to complain until end of play tomorrow.

Apparently.

I can play taxi too and have a big fukkoff 7 seat 4x4 but don't tell mn

OP posts:
TroubleAndFyfe · 25/04/2012 21:59

Can I just add my Angry davina what a knob.
C'mon baby fools, I think my bet was for tomorrow! Grin

TroubleAndFyfe · 25/04/2012 22:00

Apologies for the lack of punctuation there Blush.

AnchorBun · 25/04/2012 22:57

Davina leave the bastard Wink

You really can complain Fools I had Lilly a week before due date and I definitely was complaining!

Just thinking about it, I'm not sure how much more convenient being up in Wales will be for the meet up because we tend to go there for as little time as possible - dp hates taking time off work and we both get itchy feet being back there.
So, I'm back to having no preference! Grin

foolserrand · 25/04/2012 23:35

Bun and Trouble, skipping into early labour with no drama is not something that will currently make me like you! :o

Quick question, movements are noticeably reduced. She does still move, but for the last 3 days or so there's not been as much. Wwyd? Call the maternity ward? Figure all is well as she does still move? Gah. I'm normally so good at trusting my instincts but I don't know this time.

OP posts:
foolserrand · 25/04/2012 23:37

Ps, ellie, you're home now. Get back on the game! I've been waiting for you to take your turn for ages!

OP posts:
AnchorBun · 25/04/2012 23:48

It's ok Fools because I went 11 days over with ds so I was allowed to be early with Lilly Wink

With the movements it's very normal to have less forceful movements at this stage but if you're at all unsure just give the midwife a call - it won't hurt and that's what they're there for Smile

Yes Ellie get your priorities straight for god's sake! Grin

We put Lilly to bed at 7 tonight instead of just taking her when we go at 12ish (Blush I do love those cuddles!) and she's still fast asleep! Shock wonder what ridiculous time she's going to wake up and refuse to go back to sleep...

foolserrand · 26/04/2012 00:01

That's what I vaguely remember with ds, thanks Bun. You've had me in fits tonight with your pictures!

Am not optimistic about tomorrow for those of you betting on it. Saying that though, ds waited until he was 1hr and 20 mins late before popping my waters. That was the first I knew of it.

OP posts:
foolserrand · 26/04/2012 00:02

Oh, knickers. I pressed send before saying well done, Lilly! Fx she let's you sleep in the morning.

OP posts:
McKayz · 26/04/2012 05:08

I can't sleep.

I'm giving up at draw something. I'm useless!! I have a fantastic picture of a vampire and just can't guess it at all Sad

foolserrand · 26/04/2012 07:15

McKayz, don't give up! Practice will help. You are not so bad, please keep playing!
