Davina checked out your photos and Lauren is really beautiful!! What a sweetheart :o

Not sure if I wrote on here or somewhere else that on Sunday night i ended up having to put a bag of frozen peas on my tummy for about 10 seconds to get the baby to change positions. It was going utterly mental. I think it's an octopus because there were so many arms and legs sticking out my belly it was making me double over as if it was winding me. Tried everything I could think of to calm it down and move it but nothing worked at all. The cold peas worked pretty much immediately and it's been as good as gold since. I felt so guilty yesterday but DP assured me I hadn't hurt the poor thing. At the midwife app on Thursday it was back to back and we were wondering whether it was trying to turn on Sunday but getting stuck because now all the kicking is internal and there are just big shapes like back and bum moving across the bump. I hope that's what's happened anyway. Still have some guilt but I don't know what else I could have done on Sunday :(

I can't remember who drew the picture but the one of the tie + 1 = ? was genius. Took me a while to get Taiwan but I did eventually!

aBundanceOfTime · 10/04/2012 10:54

Taiwan was me Mamma Grin was worried it was a bit too cryptic!

Aw no need to feel guilty about the frozen peas, there's plenty between the baby and them! I think it's a great idea Smile Fingers x'ed baby's the right way round now, sounds like it!

Have officially started back on the much needed abdominal exercises this morning, after nearly 12 weeks (how is Lilly nearly 12 weeks old??) I'm more than ready to lose the jelly belly! I was very put out by how out of shape I've become so I've got some great motivation (I always aim to get better at exercise rather than lose weight, far easier to feel progress Smile)!

foolserrand · 10/04/2012 11:19

Bun, that's an amazing way to look at fitness, mind if I steal it once this one appears? I've always been an all or nothing girl because I've focussed on the weight loss and (predictably) get a bit too obsessed with that. It's a shame though, I love exercising but don't trust myself. Your different approach may be just what I need.

Mamma, wish I'd thought of that! Definitely not a reason to feel guilty though, especially if its worked :o.

So, I am supposed to be cleaning today. I am struggling to find motivation today. Wishing I could jump back in time before ds, open the back doors, pop the pro plus, crack open the red bull and crank up the music. Oddly craving cigarettes today too. Bizarre as I can't remember the last time I smoked!

Maybe I'll just kip on the sofa while ds watches fireman Sam.

Help yourself Fools Smile I do find it helps eliminate that sense of failure you get when you've not lost weight/put on weight, not to mention the obsessive weighing! Plus I'm really competitive even if it is 'against' myself Blush

I've got no motivation today either, feeling really grump for some reason Confused

foolserrand · 10/04/2012 13:14

Bun, I totally get the grumpy mood. Was feeling particularly short this morning too, but have just forced myself to make the kitchen sparkle and its put me in a much better mood. Just wish it was fully decorated! Grrr.

elliebug · 10/04/2012 13:25

I am grumpy too, I spent about an hour crying this morning cos the bathroom isn't grouted and I can't do it, (I am very short, walls are high) I don't know if it's cos I'm tired cos I can't sleep and am fed up of pregnancy or just cos!!! Also I can't do anything, not even wash a few pots without needing to sit down, there is at least 3 octopi in my tummy (except yest am when I nearly took myself to hosp cos I could not get baby to move!) my toes look like little sausages, and my fingers like bigger ones. Phew, sorry about that [bublush]
however, got a phone call to say pram, car seat etc is ready for collection so am feeling a bit happier now[bugrin][bugrin]

elliebug · 10/04/2012 13:25

Oh and apparently leaky nipples are a turn off too far!! [bublush]

elliebug · 10/04/2012 13:26

Where have the bunny ears gone SadSad

MammaInTheMaking · 10/04/2012 14:02

Quick question about the raspberry leaf tea capsules...i believe trouble was the lady in the know..... when did you start taking the capsules? And did you up the dosage each week? And basically any more tips about this? Am almost 32 (Shock) weeks and reckon i need to get these in my shopping trolly soon.

Awww ellie sorry about feeling teary. Will anyone else sort the bathroom out? That's great your pram is ready for collected. Got the call on Saturday that our's is ready for delivery now, so it's coming next weekend.

McKayz · 10/04/2012 14:18

Can I ask what you put/have put in your hospital bag?

We are planning a big shop soon to get all baby stuff and I can't remember what on earth I put it in for the boys at all!!

Davinaaddict · 10/04/2012 15:20

Happy to oblige fools Grin Sorry about the headache though. I'm feeling the same after a random night including a very stroppy little girl, and DH having a nosebleed Confused I suspect when DS for for his nap, it might be a family nap all round Grin

All this talk of sex is making me very Envy I have no idea when we might get somewhere near having sex again Blush I still haven't surveyed the damage so to speak Blush It's definitely healing but still very tender - to be expected after a week and a half, I suppose.

I'm now discharged from my MW care as of this morning. DD now weighs a massive 9lb 8oz! Little fatty Grin So we must be doing something right Smile I managed to lose 10.5lb this week Grin And to do this, I've been chilling on the sofa, eating like a pig and watching a lot of catch up tv. Oh yes, and feeding my lovely daughter Grin. Seriously though, I'm also one for focussing on fitness rather than weight loss. Although I do weigh myself once a week just because I'm nosey. I can't wait to get back to proper exercise. Not sure my pelvic floor would take it just yet though Grin

This drawing malarky is great but I've realised that it's seriously interrupting my MN time. I haven't been anywhere except this thread in about a week! Grin

McKayz - I packed a small suitcase and used pretty much bigger all! But I would have used more if I'd have had to stay in. For baby we packed car seat, blanket, cardigan, 2 babygrows, 2 vests, hat, scratch mittens, a small pack of nappies and some cotton wool. We were fine with everything, but we didn't have enough cotton wool to last until we got home Blush, so I'd recommend you take twice as much as you think you'll need.

elliebug · 10/04/2012 15:21

Good question mckayz I have only packed the baby's cos I don't know either!!! And I guess it depends if I go for induction or elective section? I did put breast pads and ?lanisoh cream in for me!!!

TroubleAndFyfe · 10/04/2012 16:45

mamma, get popping those RLT capsules! 3 a day for the third trimester (even though they say 1 per day) I took them from 24 weeks and feel they helped me! Grin start evening primrose at 36 weeks.
Hospital bag had, for baby: nappies, cotton wool, baby gro, vest, hat, coat, cars eat
For me: TENS machine, tankini, clary sage oil, labour massage oil, iPod, big t shirts, dressing gown, maternity pads/knickers, lucozade sport, dextrose tablets, change of clothes, lip balm, shower gel, make up (ah! Maybe that is where my mascara is! Haven't unpacked bag of course as are still living out of boxes!) Grin

TroubleAndFyfe · 10/04/2012 16:52

Oh yeah, breast pads and Lansinoh too.

ghosteditor · 10/04/2012 20:43

Trouble, the manicure drawing was great, but my brain was supplying nail varnish and I couldn't see past it, sorry! Blush

McKayz · 10/04/2012 20:45

Trouble how many RLT tablets should I be taking? I'm 30 weeks on Thursday.

My draw something is broken I think. Mine says I'm waiting for you to have a go but I just got a message saying you're waiting for me to go Confused

Davinaaddict · 10/04/2012 21:08

Trying to do an Internet shop during cluster feeding is so not fun! I think it's taken me the best part of 2 hours already Confused

TroubleAndFyfe · 10/04/2012 22:18

You should go straight to 3 capsules a day to McKayz Grin
Wtf is draw something playing at then? We'll have to delete that game and restart! Sad

TroubleAndFyfe · 10/04/2012 22:25

Too Blush

foolserrand · 10/04/2012 23:18

Well, having spent the day cleaning, I have done my back in and pulled my ligaments down there. I hurt. Still, learned a valuable lesson; don't clean.

McKayz, thank you! You've reminded me of the thing I'm forgetting.... hospital bag. Damn. Best get on that!
Night all! :o

Let that be a lesson to all of us! Grin

elliebug · 11/04/2012 01:27

fools I think, sorry for epic eraser fail, I was impressed how many other words you managed to get Grin please see up thread for clues to my next pathetic attempt!!

babybrain3 · 11/04/2012 07:29

fools how on earth did you pull muscles down there, whilst cleaning?? Confused

Hope trope is getting on ok, anyone got an update?? Smile

I am 15 wks now and starting to feel some flutterings I think!! Grin yay!!!

foolserrand · 11/04/2012 07:57

I still hurt! This sucks. baby, I tried to straddle a chair. Think sideways splits (squeeeee ridiculous pose to attempt given I'm 37.5). It's the top of my left thigh that's taken the brunt of it, as opposed to my lady garden. Oddly enough, that's not much comfort to me right now as I woke up in pain every time I rolled over. Add this to ds shouting for me several times last night (why is it never daddy?!) and I'm trying to think what I can knock the little one out with for a nap later!

Ds was a bit cute actually, he was invariably calling me in his sleep and once was to apologise. No idea what for, but stopped me caring that it was 4 am.

So, my plans for today are: clean bathrooms, another stint of laundry, try to get ds' hair cut, supermarket, tidy downstairs.... that ought to do it. Am writing it down here to hold myself accountable. Shouldn't be too tricky. ellie, I'm just like you, having to sit down every few minutes. Most annoying!

I will be back later to procrastinate update you all!
