Early poas-er seeks other December 2012 due dates

StrawberrytallCAKE · 24/03/2012 16:03

I've just had the official confirmation from my digital clearblue test after many a faint line. I have calculated my due date as 5th December and conception started with a curry, how much information am I supposed to share? Boobs aren't sore yet, just a bit bigger. Have had a horrific cold/flu/sore throat for a week and I am very very irrational.

Anyone else out there?

Oh and a treatsize bag of chocolate fingers!

Cookiesandcream06 · 17/04/2012 21:48

Oh dear, I swear I've eaten double that each day over the past few days. I had just lost all unwanted weight and back to pre-child weight... Prob put on a few pounds in past few months before conception but now I'm piling it on left right and centre. What with no cigarettes, coffee, the stupid amount of 'weight loss' tablets/ Slim Fast meal replacements etc, the constant bloating/constipation/wind - I don't dare get anywhere near a set of scales. When your stomach is home to a small 'seed' it just doesn't excuse the size of me...

Right tomorrow is a new day... But what do you do when all you want in your mouth is carbs and the thought of an apple makes your stomach do a sommersalt?!

PurplePidjin · 17/04/2012 21:51

Rice cakes, oatcakes, and dp got me some sour cream and chive Sunbites which are scrummy! I need things like that in individual portions don't let me loose on Pringles

Cookiesandcream06 · 17/04/2012 21:53

purple COD strawberry and others... Make yourself feel better that I have consumed for dinner alone : A large 4 cheese pizza, a whole pot of tomato pasta which is apparently 4 servings, an entire easter egg, and I am now eyeing up DPs ham sandwiches in the fridge which I have made him for lunch tomorrow.... Take it from me that really isn't bad and don't worry!!

Clarella · 17/04/2012 21:58

"pregnancy! - you (+0.2) but on a really bad day!"

VERY strangely for me, I have no interest in sweet things. A cream egg has now survived in the kitchen for one whole week! Unbloodybelieveable!

Spooning peanut butter out of the jar like there's no tomorrow.

Clarella · 17/04/2012 22:08

Just caught up on a few messages, was about to say tmi not noticed yellow cm but actually now I come to think of it, yes only when wiped tmi tmi - I assumed it was cos I am now utterly dehydrated back at school....

Also go through the protein crave and last week did a day of steering to more protein few crabs and I swear I was so moody and weepy the next day, happened a couple of times, but was better for eating a few slices of toast through the day.... maybe we need the carbs ladies! I think it helps release seratonin?

Clarella · 17/04/2012 22:14

Ooooooo interesting random Google find
web.mit.edu/newsoffice/2004/carbs.htm

totally pooped, good night!

CODwidow · 17/04/2012 22:16

clarella I'm the same with sweet things not overly fussed and I'm not really craving any type of food just food! I'm also thirsty so not sure what that's about but I find the more water I drink the worse the metal taste becomes so going to bed with the worst taste.

6 weeks tomorrow(I think) so scary week for me as this is when all symptoms disappeared last time and I later found it was when baby stopped growing.

StrawberrytallCAKE · 17/04/2012 22:17

Ah pidjin mine were sunbites too of the Rosemary variety, nice to see you enjoy the marmite rice cakes also....could I interest you in some mini ritz cracker packets (on sale in tesco for £1). if anyone tries to take my carbs off me I'll cry too

Welcome to the newbiesSmile

Minipie I have a dr's appointment on Thursday so going to speak to him about the pain then. Today it has not been to bad though.

I am very tired tonight so going to go to bed just wanted to check in and see how everyone is getting on.

backwardpossom · 17/04/2012 22:28

I went running tonight. A slow run, but a run nonetheless. :) Am shattered now...

VegemiteSandwich · 17/04/2012 22:48

tiredtiredtiredtiredtired. Must have looked it too, husband sent me to bed and woke me up when dinner was ready! Love him today :)

Bye!!! Back to bed now.

Chloe55 · 18/04/2012 03:10

Urgh don't you just love insomnia? Sad another full day of work ahead but can not sleep no matter how hard I try and trying desperately not to throw up ( vomit phobia). I too feel sick at the thought of 'healthy' food ie fruit/veg but bad for you carbs going down a treat. Have made a pact with myself as I've lied here in bed contemplating things and going to try desperately hard from now on to steer away from the shit food and focus on eating better. Am a but cross at myself actually for not trying harder on the food front, I too lost weight (under my consultants orders), I've given up caffeine, nicotine and alcohol etc so there's no bloody excuse not to fill my body with hood stuff to help this bean survive. Watch this space, hope I feel as motivated midmorning when the cakes come out at work! Grin

PurplePidjin · 18/04/2012 06:34

Ritz already come in box sized portions Confused

Wish me luck, off to do 8-6 in a creche - first working day since I found out

acjfluff · 18/04/2012 07:09

I've got my 1st midwife appt today. Irrationally nervous about what she'll do and that she'll tell me I'm not really pg or something!! I dreamt I went there and the waiting room was huge and full of people I know and they were all shocked that I was there. Stupid girl!!!

MyDaydream · 18/04/2012 07:11

Jumping on board, I've been feeling very pregnant for the last week but was far too early to test. But the massive, painful boobs and nausea was quite a give away really.

I've been following the thread since then hoping I'd get my BFP and yesterday was the day! Thought I'd waited the 5 minutes and threw it out but went back to it when I emptied the bin and it had turned into a faint positive! Took another straight away and got another faint line. Started worrying already as had a MC at 9 weeks in September so everything now crossed the line will get stronger and it will all work out this time. Due date worked out for 27th.

Dillydollydaydream · 18/04/2012 09:01

Congrats to those with BFPs!
Im still bt feeling sick, not 6 weeks til Sunday tho so plenty of time yet?!
I was very sick in all my previous pregnancies.
I'm still slightly lurking as I'm worried about having a miscarriage after my clearblue digital tests :(

(tmi) I've got lots of clear/white discharge Blush
Still crampy and am paranoid I'll start bleeding so have put a pad in today.
Just want to fast forward the next 6 weeks!
Was thinking of getting a private scan at 7ish weeks to check all is ok, not enjoying being pregnant as I'm constantly worrying.
Haven't told anyone yet, only dh knows. I'd like to tell dc, eldest is 8 but I don't want to have to tell her only to say I lost the baby :(

StaceymReadyForNumber3 · 18/04/2012 09:19

morning people, wow so muh happens overnight, i have a bit of creamy/white cm but not a huge amount, i'm not panicking about it really.

Last night we ordered pizzaq for dinner but we tried a new place that does proper wood stove ones so not as bad as pizza hut :) i only ate half and the other half is for dinner tonight. Mainly i am doing well with eating healthily, i know i would hate myself if i got huge again, so sticking to my 3 meals and drinking plenty of fluids (although this makes the ever frequent bathroom trips more frequent!)

Having more and more vivid dreams, and i don't normally remember any dreams so it's weird for me. Not got my booking in till next tues but i am 5 weeks today hooray only 35 more to go lol

Welcome newbies, congrats :)

gilsbubbles · 18/04/2012 09:21

6w+4 and the nausea I was worried I wasn't having has put in an appearance. The bus stop I use for my commute to work is right outside a chipshop and the smell was unbearable. Had to walk on to the next stop so at least I'm getting a bit of extra exercise Grin
It seems pretty mild compared to some of you, am I lucky or did you find the sickness ramped up over a few days?

Quills · 18/04/2012 09:48

Welcome to all the newcomers!

gilsbubbles, sorry to say but I was coping quite well with the nausea until the last few days. Now, at 7+4, it's pretty much constant and making it near impossible to eat. Luckily, I work from home, but I'm getting next to nothing done between managing the sickness and looking after DD. Crossing everything that it eases up once the first trimester is over, or my wages are really going to suffer.

Ah well, booking in appointment with the midwife to look forward to next week! Has anyone got their 12 week scan date yet?

FriendofDorothy · 18/04/2012 09:58

I am absolutely bloody knackered today. I could curl up under my desk and have a sleep easily I think!

Bellaboo123 · 18/04/2012 10:06

The nausea reared its head today but nothing too bad - 6 weeks tomorrow so it could all change!
I've got my booking in appt next week and my scan for 6th June - was quite impressed they came through so quickly.
Trying to eat healthily today...! So far so good but then again it's only 10am!

JingleBellBaby · 18/04/2012 10:49

Why why why can't I concentrate on the essay I'm trying to write? How will I finish it if I can't form a coherent sentence about that but could talk or write about babies all day long!

I only remember this happening in late pregnancy last time. Why am I so obsessed already!

VegemiteSandwich · 18/04/2012 10:51

My mum told me this morning that her morning sickness really wasn't so bad she may well have been lying though so fingers crossed I'll take after her!

I'm seeing the GP today - recently moved so I thought I'd better change surgeries before the old one turfs me out. Is it weird that I'm excited about this?

I'll be so jealous when others get their 12 week scan dates!

Today I have already eaten vegemite on toast, gnocci, yoghurt, a chocolate mouse and one babybell. M'thinks that this is probably not normal for me. Other than the vegemite bit. Speaking of which, just realised that I forgot to put it on the ocado order and may well run out this week Shock here's hoping it doesn't come to that.

lauraloo09 · 18/04/2012 10:53

morning ladies hope you are ok...or as good as you can be with nausea tiredness etc.

i feel awful today nausea is a killer and just had 2 slices of toast which I assume wont be staying down too long. i work in a hospital and the smell of hospital breakfast and lunch prep is enough to make me sick at the best of times. I went to karate last night and told my instructor i done some light kata and then instructed for the remainder of the night although i done more observing coaching etc i loved it and will def be keeping this up this will help with not putting on too much weight. I lost 2st before falling pg on clomid so would be happy if i can limit weight gain as much as i can....easier said than done when all i want to eat is carbs and sweets think ill go get some apples at lunch time lol cant wait till fri to see the mw and hopefully get an early scan. it is just an initial meeting not a booking appointment last time they booked me at 8 weeks and scan at 11 so heres hoping it is the same this time round :) xx
