Early poas-er seeks other December 2012 due dates

I've just had the official confirmation from my digital clearblue test after many a faint line. I have calculated my due date as 5th December and conception started with a curry, how much information am I supposed to share? Boobs aren't sore yet, just a bit bigger. Have had a horrific cold/flu/sore throat for a week and I am very very irrational.

Anyone else out there?

Last time I had a GP appt at what I thought was 6 weeks (the surgery made me go to a gp - no idea why). He was very disinterested but asked a few times whether we were keeping it (DP was with me) .
Then mw appt at what I thought was 9 weeks IIRC. She was the most horrible mw. I told her I was worried about how I'd been bleeding non stop, that I'd been told I couldn't conceive so it was all really scary. She just told me there was nothing she could do about it. She was an hour and a half late despite telling me I was her first appt and she'd come straight to me as I lived round the corner from her. She was just plain rude and dismissive, luckily I can't remember all the details of what made me dislike her so much. I didn't see another mw (apart from at scans) till 28 weeks as I was so worried that all mw's were like this. Stupid I know!

I'm going to go for the same hospital again as it's the closest to me and the best within a reasonable distance. Even the 10 minute drive to it with contractions was awful so I wouldn't want us driving any further than that anyway!

kiwi crossed posts. I've had 16 days of bleeding so far and counting. I'm going to ask them about it when I call the surgery tomorrow to book in with the mw. It's weird that I feel far more worried this time. Maybe because it took so long to conceive this one. How many weeks are you? It sounds like you've got in early. I hope it all goes well with the scan.

Sorry to hear that some of you have had bleeding.

I had terrible cramping at 4am Friday night/morning for a couple hours and was violently sick but have been fine since then. So expected to bleed as this is often how my periods start so think was probably some hormone change/drop/increase. Anyone else had this?

I'm tempted to pay for an early scan but prob shouldn't spend the £80 as can't really afford it. Anyone else tempted??
I did fork out for a digital today though and if came up as 3 weeks plus, was expecting 2-3 weeks (afternoon pee too)- so I might be a few days ahead of what I thought.

cashmere do those digital ones go on dates since conception? So normally we would put you at 5 weeks? I assume so as i didn't think you could test that early, I get so confused with all this! [buconfused]

Yeah they definitely go on dates since conception. Mine said 2-3 weeks and I panicked thinking how could I be only 2-3 weeks! Then I actually read the instructions...

Yeah it's definitely from conception, though I'm sure they're not totally accurate, the packet says 92%. I did think there were a few signs I'd ovulated earlier than normal this month which is why I decided to buy one.

I got a BFP on Sunday and have tested each morning since and I'm pretty sure the lines are getting darker each time.
This will be DC#3 for me, but don't expect any wisdom, my boys are 8 and 6 and I can barely remember what it's like to be pregnant, but I'm sure it will all come flooding back.
I've been awake since 3 this morning, as although this baby was planned I'm still trying to process the news, as I did with the other 2, but posting this has made it seem a bit more real.

Um... can I join. I tested yesterday- twice- and both came up positive. I don't currently feel pregnant at all so had to do another test today and it definitely came up darker than yesterday.

Fertility friend gives me an EDD of 15 December 2012. I think I am in shock!

Sorry for not checking before now. Anyone else feel like this isn't real?! DH and I keep talking about 'if this works out' and not specifying what 'this' is! I guess, because I had a miscarriage before DD, we're just very scared to tempt fate.

Anyway, I currently have bad ms (at 4 weeks! FGS!) and sore boobs, fatigue and excessive saliva Very early for symptoms in my book, but I suppose it can happen. Anyone else feel like crap at the moment? I really hope that because it started early, it lets up early too.

I have no symptoms whatsoever which I think is freaking me out even more. I don't feel pregnant at all!

Scrambled, I'm 6+4 and completely wiped. Insomnia plus nausea (no vomiting yet thankfully) and we're off camping for 4 days from Thursday so I'm trying to prep for that. I've always been aware that pregnant+kids is hard but how the arsing fuck do you all do it?

I keep thinking it can't be real too scrambled. I also had a mc before dd, and it's taken so long to conceive, I just don't know how I'd cope with another mc and having to wait another 18 months to conceive again. I keep telling myself to stop worrying because it won't do anyone any good, but it's hard isn't it.

FoD I also don't feel pg. I think I'm 5+6, I've had a bit of nausea but nothing today. I just feel normal!

Purple I really hope I don't get the SPD I had last time, that would be really hard with looking after DD I think. But what can you do? I suppose it's like the not sleeping until they sleep through. You just have to cope because you have no other choice!

Thanks friendofdorothy, any symptoms I think I've had have been mild so far apart from aching boobs - then when they don't hurt I get worried but so far keep coming back with avengence! I'm 7 wks tomorrow - not sure if felt a little queasy this morning.....

Oh dear purplepidjin, hope you feel well enough to enjoy it! I'm not usually that organised but have found that keeping a camping 'to pack' list then adding all the things you forgot post trip to be kept for next time helps with not-very-frequent camping trips. Some pals thought it was very funny/not impressed when I rolled up with only a tent, duvet, wetsuit, bottle of cava and some honey last camping trip (it was very last minute).

hi all, I'm ue on 10th December. We told both sets of parents this weekend but have decided not to tell anyone else till the magical 12 week point. That said I'm struggling to keep the excitement contained. WIll be nice to be able to chat to you all and have a safe place to share.

Oh and I could sleep all day if it wasn't for work and I'm off to M&S to buy some supportive tops to sleep in cause my nipples are soooo sensitive

We have a camper, and we're off to a car show and will be surrounded by friends, so should be fairly straight forward. Dp is working on the show, though, so I'm anticipating being stuck in the van feeling poorly and not able to tell anyone why!! I've run the washing machine and pegged out the clothes, need to go see the jobseeker people shortly so will force myself round the supermarket on the way home to get food. Then back to my nest on the sofa
