X post musical, you could be right there ;-) . Either way is great, I adore DD and can't wait to have boys too!

Also hope fishcakes DD2 did some good troffing overnight.

jaggythistle · 04/04/2012 07:50

will be thinking of you dream, hope there's not too much waiting around.

hope you had a good night fishcake. :)

laughing at all the pattern guessing here! everyone i spoke to last time was convinced DS would be a boy. i haven't got a feeling really, going to be ubb till the last minute. MIL thinks a girl.

I'm having name wobbles too dream, too paranoid to post what we've picked though! if babyJaggy is a boy he'll have the same family middle name as one of your boys though. :)

Biscuitsandtea · 04/04/2012 07:58

Dream I am so excited for you today Grin

Can't wait to hear all about it later - good luck my lovely. You have done so amazingly to get these boys to 38 weeks or whatever you are now!

Oh and take a pic if your gravity defying bump this morning so you get a record of it at it's most massive!

I showed DH your last bump pic and he was speechless Grin. You're amazing!

And Scream I m do looking forward to you having that CS confirmed in your notes. What time is your appt? Is your IMW going too? And DH?

Incidentally can your DH register the birth himself?

Biscuitsandtea · 04/04/2012 08:00

And may I just add: WTF is this white stuff coming out of the sky? How that flip can it be snowing this week when last week I had to put sun cream on DS and I felt bad that he didn't have any shorts yet Confused

Imps7 · 04/04/2012 08:16

Oh Fishcake what wonderful news! Congratulations to all the Fishcake family! Thanks Hope you manage to find the perfect name soon!

Dream -hooray!! Today's the day!! How exciting - best of luck missus.

scarletfingernail · 04/04/2012 08:25

I know Biscuits I had washing on the line this time last week. Global warming? Pah!

dream I'm beyond excited for you! I can't wait to hear your boys are here. As for me I do feel more inclined to think I'm having a boy, most people seem to agree, but I'm not as convinced as I was with DS. Not long til I find out.

Scream I'll be thinking of you also this afternoon, what a relief for you it will be once they put CS in your notes.

My meet up with my MW friend was postponed to tonight so I also need some brooking for a head down position confirmation. I don't think it is though. My bump is a very odd shape this morning, the baby is completely on the left side!

Hope you had a good night Fishcake

dream I am so excited for you!!!

Loopyhasanotherbean · 04/04/2012 08:47

congratulations fishcakes and the best of luck for today dream....i reckon you should re-discuss names after the CS, when hopefully DH will be so grateful that you've given him two sons, and if you lay it on a bit thick about how rough you feel after the CS etc, he might just relent Grin

scream hope all goes well with getting a date.

no snow here, but definitely not lovely and sunny like it was last week. 17 weeks gone today, feeling movement for sure, can't wait for the scan in 3 weeks, will find out for sure

ScreamIfYouWantToGoFaster · 04/04/2012 09:43

Go Dream! Go Dream! I'm sooooooo excited the No Brooking twins will be here within hours!

I'd also like to send some No Brooking towards Farfalla - your scan today will be perfect!

Fishcake how was your night? Is the latest No Brooker hungrier this morning? I hope you're recovering well (and feeling very proud of yourself!)

Thanks for everyone's kind comments about my appt. I actually feel rather nervous, I just have so much riding on this! My imw and DH are both coming with me though, and the sonographer's report from Monday was great, so I'm going to stay hopeful!

Also my hips are killing me this morning, and since yesterday none of the baby's kicks have managed to reach as high as under my ribs! (Which is a miracle!) Could an evening of crazy bouncing and chanting really have helped the baby to go lower!?! Need to get back on that ball asap! My appt's officially at 11.10, so in my hospital's local timezone that's the equivalent of about 12.40 Hmm

ScreamIfYouWantToGoFaster · 04/04/2012 09:47

p.s. SNOW!?!

It's still warm and sunny in London! UK weather is crazy...

McPopcornMouseNFries · 04/04/2012 09:52

Congratulations fishcake! And good luck dream and scream :)

Biscuitsandtea · 04/04/2012 10:07

OOooh yes brooking for Far too - it's going to be a big day in Brooksville!!

PurpleWithaBlueBun · 04/04/2012 10:18

Dream you are in my thoughts today and you were last night :)
Best of luck today. I would step on the scales and then after to see the difference in weight, I did and it was surprising!

No snow here but I have put the heating on and dug out the thick socks brr! Dd is nude wandering around in her wellies though Hmm :o

pommedechocolat · 04/04/2012 10:19

Yes, sorry far and scream brooking for you guys too today of course.

hawthers · 04/04/2012 10:35

Brooking turned up to max for dream scream and far

Am also sat in he sun drinking a cup of tea un london - which hosp are you at scream ? Me and f can come and do some in your face brooking at the consultant if he doesn't play the game and give you your cs. And no one messes with my incredibly cute f....

hawthers · 04/04/2012 10:40

Oh and congrats fishcake marvellous news and a lovely size. :)

Biscuitsandtea · 04/04/2012 10:42

Love the idea of you and f rocking up at Scream's appt Hawthers Grin

pommedechocolat · 04/04/2012 10:56

I love the thought of 'in your face' brooking. I'm going to be working on that today Grin

fishcakefoxtrot · 04/04/2012 11:05

Thank you so much for all the good wishes! Makes me quite teary Smile

We had an interesting night. Dd2 was rather sleepy and not so much for the feeding. I did some hand expressing, which went ok, and she was marginally more interested today. However the other babies were on a night 2 feedathon which kept me awake and gives me something to look forward to tonight!

Thinking of dream today- so exciting to think those boys will be here soon! You have done so well keeping them in all this time!

scream am guessing you are at the hospital now. Am sending my most no nonsense brooking vibes in your consultant's direction. I reckon an Easter baby could be just the thing for you!

So lovely to think of all these new babies arriving soon and the next wave of lovely rat smacking brookers joining us Smile

musicalmrs · 04/04/2012 11:50

Glad you had a good night fishcake!

Dream, you must be getting so excited now! I know I am!

Scream, hoping you've had your consultation now, and that everything's wonderful! (and that perhaps your waters have broken?!( Grin

far, brooking for your scan later :)

No snow here in Essex - too far south! - but DH is in Glasgow where I believe it's snowy!

I'm currently in panic mode. We have the checkout date for our current property (31st May) but as of yet no confirmation of exchange or completion dates for the new house, even though they should be end of April/beginning of May. Don't like the fact the people we're renting from have really got their act together - someone's coming round to view the place at lunchtime today! - but yet the solicitors etc are dragging their heels. May have to go out and buy therapeutic creme eggs once the viewing's taken place...

NinjaChipmunk · 04/04/2012 11:51

ok just quickly popping on to say YAY!! to fishcake for dd2, how lovely for you. Keep well and hope the feeding picks up. I hope you are not too tired and sore?
Good luck to dream for today, will be keeping an eye out for your news.
And brooking for a good appointment for scream and am I right in thinking farfalla has another scan? If so good luck lovely.

Off to catch up whilst the boss is out!

Thinking of dream and scream lots today!

congrats to fishcake and I hope you manage to get some kip tonight!!!

Yes that is right ninja scan today, not until 7pm though (its my last private scan before transferring over to NHS so they are quite flexible with the time). I really hope all is well as I had my booking in appointment with the lovely midwife today and it made it all seem very real indeed.

musical someone has bought a multi-pack of creme eggs in the office, I am winging some over to you now, uncertainly about living arrangements is certainly NOT what you need right now!!

ScreamIfYouWantToGoFaster · 04/04/2012 12:08

Sorry to spoil the tone but today's been a bit of a disaster for me. The short version is the hospital screwed up and booked a Wed appt for me when the consultant is only available at the Tues clinic. So to see the doc who's already verbally agreed my cs I have to wait until NEXT TUES! I have to confess I was so hyped up for actually getting this whole stressful situation sorted today that I burst into tears, and they've now scheduled me an appt for tomorrow morning with ANOTHER consultant to try again. I'm gutted though because I have to start from scratch! This doc knows nothing about me do I have to do the whole convincing-the-doc argument again, from the beginning, with no letter in advance and no support from the nice head-of-dept doc who helped me last time round. I'm so upset, it feels like a huge step backwards, right back to square one!

My lovely imw had a big battle with the receptionist and managed to get a contact number for the consultant I was supposed to see today. I've now left this consultant a message begging politely requesting that if possible she could speak to her colleague (the new doc tomorrow) and give him some background on my situation. Ultimately though it's all back to the beginning tomorrow.

Still No Brooking for Dream and Farfalla, and so pleased Fishcake is doing well. I'm off out with DH now to find ways to distract myself until tomorrow (which don't require me to be able to walk!) Just can't face being stuck in the house as usual today.

NinjaChipmunk · 04/04/2012 12:17

looopy its lovely when you start to feel some movement isn't it? And welcome tostacks, smegs should pop her hear head round the door at some point too I believe? Am I right in thinking shiny is preggers too? That thread moves so fast I can't keep up.
generic your sparkly vom bucket is here waiting for you, I do hope you are back with us really soon x
jen stephen john is dp's name Grin
hawthers I'll leave work early and come with you to glare at the consultant if they don't agree with scream
musical I hope you get a date soon, solicitors are best when you hassle them we found, keep asking them for updates to keep it moving! We've got a weekend of DIY coming up I think so we'll be putting ours on the market soon (hopefully), it's quite a scary thought......
