Hoebag · 23/03/2012 23:48

I've been the illest i've been today was trying to lounge with a blanket as my bones ached so much it hurt to stand up. My DS had other ideas :'(

I got this with my DS1 and not long after MS appeared so who knows

so bloody crappy needed to iron tonight.

Iheartpasties · 24/03/2012 00:10

Italaitala DD was an unplanned homebirth, she was my first. 1.5 hours labour :)

DesperateHousewife21 · 24/03/2012 07:13

Morning, ds is taking the piss now, bloody 5:40 he got up Hmm
Dh got up with him and I got up at 7 but still feel shattered.

Luckily we're having quite a lazy weekend and cbeebies is my best friend atm!

FoofFighter · 24/03/2012 07:32

Welcome hoebag and italaitala :) congratulations on your pregnancies wishing you healthy and happy ones :)

Little9, I'm 38 too, 39 when this baby will arrive, so a little worried too about the increased risks but firmly taking one day at a time. I keep seeing something written on the Pg boards, which is roughly - today I am pregnant and I am going to enjoy it and that's what i am living by :)

Boobs are sorer than ever, feel like they've been slammed between two doors and that someone has a hold of my nipple from inside and is pulling and twisting it with all their strength Sad really don't remember this part before and I am sure I would have!!

Has anyone noticed their pee has changed? it's more yellow and smells different. Wondering if down to pg hormones or the Pregnacare!

Have good days all, am Envy of those with the readies to go and buy maternity stuff in the next sale, it's not payday till next thurs so we can't afford it Sad I hear the black cord mat trousers are highly recommended on mumsnet anyway

jaylee89 · 24/03/2012 08:30

jesus christ i have never experienced MS like this before.......i woke at 2.30am this morning to a nasty sicky tummy and i didnt drop back of till 4.20 (well last time i checked phone for time) its killing me tbh i cant keep anything down except if i eat between 8-9 in evening!

anyone else having this?
supposed to be going out with mother today taking DD to park but not sure if i can handle it. the heat yesterday made me feel worse and i nearly up chucked in asda(not pretty). but on upper hand i did see two lovely ladies who must have been 8 months+ and that cheered me up a little (we will be like that soon) :) waddling as they say hahah!

jaylee89 · 24/03/2012 08:32

yes foof defiantly with you there about pee!!! mine is like gold no matter how much water i try to drink! it smells like sugar puffs (is that weird)??

FoofFighter · 24/03/2012 08:42

Sugar puffs yes! that's exactly it!

Sickness, sorry still none here although I have been waking in the night feeling nasueaous it's never actually gone into vomiting. Yet.

jaylee89 · 24/03/2012 08:45

i hope it doesnt for you , it truely really isnt nice at ALL!!! also feel really tired i usuall have a nap at 2 till about 4 (oh the joys of early pregnancy) well 7 weeks today for me :) and must admit im not feeling as nervous as i did at 5 weeks. hope you have a lovely day

Tiago · 24/03/2012 08:56

The yellow pee is a Pregnacare side effect.

FoofFighter · 24/03/2012 09:01

I haven't tested this theory out yet, but the colour of it - I wonder if it would glow in the dark?!

Morning Tiago, how are you today :)

Little9 · 24/03/2012 09:15

Today I am pregnant and I am going to enjoy it....I like that FoofFighter. It shall be my new mantra, whenever the doubts creep in. Can't change what happens so may as well enjoy it. Mmm, feeling good today, I feel.

Boobs are just so out this worldly sore, they seemed to get in the way in bed last night. Wish they were detachable. Doesn't help with dogs trying to lie on them either whilst cuddling on sofa!! Keep landing on the ceiling everytime they put their head down!! At least I don't have MS (sorry for the peeps who do).

Oh well, have a good day all. Off to the gym now.

EssexWelsh · 24/03/2012 09:47

I'm feeling the just be happy mantra, especially in this weather. Was totally on the side of the ladies saying no to buying anything before 12 weeks, then a friend put on Facebook, anyone interested in a Quinny Buzz 4, like new, all the extras for £100, should I go for it, already told her to keep it as my DP's sister is pregnant too, so using her as an excuse :)

FoofFighter · 24/03/2012 09:49

If you want it go for it :)

I think that's the only way I would buy one of the big things so soon is if there was an unbelieveable bargain.

EssexWelsh · 24/03/2012 09:56

Thanks, I agree, love a bargain. But what about the model, anyone know anything of it? Is £100 actually a bargain?

jaylee89 · 24/03/2012 09:59

go for it essex thats a BARGAIN!!!!.

well i ventured to the shop earlier to buy some ginger biscuits and my GOD they actually work but taste like crap in a packet!

i only seem to get sore boobs in the morning when i get out of bed and when i take my bra off but when i poke them (which is quite regular) they hurt like hell!

FoofFighter · 24/03/2012 10:04

I don't know much about Buzz as I've not owned one due to not rating them Blush but plenty of people use them so they can't be that bad? Maybe a thread in the Puschairs topic?

funthatisfunny · 24/03/2012 10:05

sounds like a good bargain essex, reckon you should go for it!

Yay for enjoying being pregnant and not constantly fretting about miscarriage. it was only when faced with the fact it might actually happen that I started to chill out - I really realised that if this baby wasn't going to stick then that was that, no amount of fretting would change it. Glad we are looking up :)

Hehe yes it's pregnacare that changes your wee to bright yellow! I had the same when I took my B complex vits!

Looked at next, looks like some good stuff! Saving my money for ebay tho :) I really want a basic isabelle oliver top as my last one saw me through my whole maternity and was so flattering and comfy.

I am SO lazy and tired today and am in sole charge of a toddler this weekend who only wants to sit on my lap and twiddle my (very sore) nips! Oh lord. And I have to bleach my house and all DS's toys because of the wretched mice! Am mardy and won't cheer up until DS has been exercised, has stopped clinging onto me like I might vanish any second (bless), I am reading the paper and my appetite is back.

Do you guys find you feel nauseous and don't want to eat anything but are, twistedly, hungry at the same time?! I have the shakes but just cannot bring myself to eat! Any tips?

I keep experiencing flashes of anger and extreme irritation. I shouted at DH last night because I got angry at the dishwasher and he came up and stroked me. Proper shouted at him NOT TO STROKE ME! Is this pregnancy do you think or am I turning into the incredible hulk?! Blush He was so sweet and just backed off like a hurt puppy :( I think he must know it is pregnancy...

FoofFighter · 24/03/2012 10:16

Oh I just had an unreasonable flash of anger myself on a thread Grin

i think maybe I'll stay away from MN the rest of the day!!

Kydravia · 24/03/2012 10:25

Hi all! Very new to "talk"! Baby due 13th Nov. will be number 3. Two boys already, 20 months and almost 4years. This one was a suprise! Feeling crappy, just noticed sickness is worse after spicy food (damn!). Get afternoon/evening sickness rather than morning. Very tired. Can't wait till scan! Seems like I'm showing already ooh-er!

ditsygem · 24/03/2012 10:42

Hi ladies,
I have been lurking on here for the past week so though I would say Hi!
Please can someone add me to the list?
I'm 28 and this will be baby number 1. EDD 11/11/12 from my calculations based on my 25 day cycle, but think if the doctors base it on a 28 day cycle they will put it as the 14/11/12. I'm off to the doctors on Wed for my booking in appointment so I'll find out what they say then!
It's lovely having this board to see how everyones getting on, particularly as no one in RL know that I'm pregnant. I'm going to tell my family at Easter when I'll be 9 weeks. Can't wait!
Still not sure whether to go for an early scan or not at 8 weeks? What are other peoples thoughts on early scans?
Also, my morning sickness is kicking in at the moment, I was sick for the first time last sunday then nothing until yesterday when my lovely healthy breakfast of fruit and yoghurt came straight back up! Today I just feel nauseus and starving! ugh!

Cacacaz · 24/03/2012 10:58

Welcome to the new members Grin how are you feeling?

I hope all is well with chickenspots.

I won't be looking at anything until at least 12 weeks, only because I did before my mc and found it heartbreaking having all the catalogues, I had spent hours looking through in the house.

I'm feeling good today, managed to eat some breakfast, although the nutritional content is less than desirable, a cereal bar and a jam dohnut Blush.

We have had all our bedrooms painted last year, so need to paint what will be babies room, will just add suitable soft furnishings!

I have my reassurance scan on Monday currently experiencing mixed emotions about it, I think that is because I will be 8 weeks on Monday, the same as I was when I miscarried. I like the mantra others have suggested so going to try to adopt that.

DesperateHousewife21 · 24/03/2012 11:07

I get bad rage too. Esp in the kitchen when cooking or washing up and something doesn't go my way I usually lob it across the room! Ds is a bit wary of me!

Welcome to the newbies, this thread is getting so big!

chickenspots if you're reading/ lurking I hope everything is ok with you.

Chunkychicken · 24/03/2012 11:09

Morning all. Hello newbies!! Congrats :)

I too feel sick & hungry but can't face anything fun although have found savoury is better than sweet. Had scrambled egg on toast this morning but am hungry again now & all I can think of is a cheeseburger, which isn't really an option :(

Anyone know if you can have a cervical smear when pg? Got my reminder this morning... Confused

madasahattermummy · 24/03/2012 12:06

whoop whoop its beans birthday today !! 9 weeks :)

EssexWelsh · 24/03/2012 12:15

Just back from next sale had some bargainous work suits, but no maternity section, glad really as tis a little early and by wearing them I know I would be letting it all hang out!
