I walked to the shop for a Solero this evening after dinner - mmmmmm! Feels like summer doesn't it? Recently I've been crashing in bed just after DD's storytime which explains the radio silence here ladies. Just reading through and so wonderful to hear about all the great scan news, congratulations everyone!

We also got our 20wk scan date for 11th May - doesn't seem far away at all, especially with Spring holidays from school around the corner. We're off to bonnie Scotland on Tuesday to see my family (I'm a Scot in disguise...)

Sorry to hear you're ill newton. I have yet another snuffling cold and terrible cough which is such a pain.

MakeTea I got DH an espresso maching for his birthday this year too - he uses it ALL the time. Unfortunately I don't like coffee!

Hi I'm still here but still not had scan yet so not jinks things by getting too involved also having a lot of mad personal problems going on around me but so glad to follow everyone's news as you are only people who know I'm pregnant so if you could please add me to list thanks

Think my update with me and Winnie dropped off your list MsInterpret - but my midwife said today that if the scan and the LMP dates are within 5 days they go by the LMP here because everyone grows slightly differently, so I'm moving myself back to the 25th so as not to get my hopes up too early! Plus have added Tennerlady as well.

In other news, got to hear a pounding heartbeat again today - so lovely! Grin DH came too and was quite astounded/excited. And my blood pressure is dropping fast, so that explains the dizzy!

Happy birthday Bubble ! Have you got anything nice planned? The weather is decidedly cooler here today (NW), hopefully it's still nice and sunny where you are!

Thanks Bear I'm feeling much better today. My mum has taken DS to watch my sister in her assembly so I've had a couple of hours peace to sit (have also cleaned the bathrooms, hoovered etc)

Emmiedarling · 30/03/2012 11:00

Happy Birthday bubble! Enjoy lots of cake!

I am going to need to change my date - apparently the bean is 'a bit bigger than expected.'

So, my new date is October 3rd.

Whoop whoop!

To all those suffering with this bloody flu thing - I feel your pain. I have ziltch energy.

Newton I wish I was like you and had done the hoovering!

Emmiedarling · 30/03/2012 11:08

Forgot to mention that I now have the date for my cervical stitch. 11th April!!!

A bit nervous but apparently thats what would be best - so i'm going to roll with it.

newtonupontheheath · 30/03/2012 13:18

Ha ha well I'm zonked now so if I was you emmie, I'd put up with a non-hoovered house!

Beeblebear · 30/03/2012 13:35

Happy birthday bubble!

McPopcornMouseNFries · 30/03/2012 14:04

Espresso sounds great MakeTea - I have a Nespresso pod machine and I LOVE it, it makes the best coffee with the little creamy bit on top, nom!

Thanks Thunderboltkid. Sorry to sound like a real idiot, but what does DC mean?

I will be having an epidural to put my cervical stitch in. They offered to put me to sleep, but I thought the epidural would be a better option.

So hungry today. I have eaten 6 bowls of cereal. Now Im craving a peanut butter and jam sarnie.

;)

Forgot to add - 20 week scan is 16th May :o

Glad everyone is doing well and hope those with the horrible flu thing get better soon :)

Guccigirl79 · 30/03/2012 17:10

Afternoon ladies, apologies for absence for a couple of days, not because of any particular reason other than I was having a lovely time with my bestest friend & her gorgeous 1 yr old daughter after work yesterday!!

Not had quite such a good day today & one big walking jibbering wreck of hormones.Have been getting increasingly worried about my consultant app re my blood problem & am concerned about being let down by the system like my own mum was & I know medicine is very different now but still it is a big worry for me.

So sorry for warbling on but need to get it off my chest this way as whenever I voice it I start sobbing!!Sad

Anyhoo, how do i add myself to the list? ( not terribly good on pooter if it doesn't involve typing) Edd 16 oct

McPopcornMouseNFries · 30/03/2012 17:12

What's your blood problem gucci? Sorry if you've said already.
I'm hypothyroid and I'm having a nightmare time getting the GPs to look after me - I've been referred for consultant care, but 1st appointment's not til I'm 16 weeks Shock So you're not alone in the worry-boat :)

elvislives2012 · 30/03/2012 18:44

Hi all, how is everyone feeling today? I bought maternity bras today and they are REALLY unsexy comfy! My boobs feel great for the first time in weeks!

Guccigirl79 · 30/03/2012 20:16

McPopcorn I have a condition called thrombophilia factor v leiden. In a nutshell it's the condition that causes deep vein thrombosis which can lead to pulmonary embolism which is ultimately life threatnening,so not that I have anything to worry about!!! I just wish they could put your mind at rest a bit sooner dont you?

Elvis where did you get your bras from? I picked a couple up yesterday but just got a bigger size lol

Bubblebell1 · 30/03/2012 21:14

Thank you girls Grin. Had a lovely day and was spoilt rotten.

Home and in bed now. Absolutely exhausted. Hope you are all well and have a great weekend x

babybrain3 · 30/03/2012 21:50

Did you get non underwired ones, or did you stick with wired?? I hate the idea of no underwire-but that's all there seems to be..

elvislives2012 · 31/03/2012 06:36

Went to m&s. They were great and I got non wired. They still hold them up but no wires digging in. Brilliant!

pinpan · 31/03/2012 07:07

Oh how I miss M&S! And Ikea. But DH and I went into the local antipodean department store today and ogled tiny baby clothes and giant wooden cots. Grin Don't think I will be able to make myself actually buy anything until June or so though!

elvislives2012 · 31/03/2012 08:38

pinpan where are you then? I keep getting asked about prams and cots and, like you, I can't get that yet! Too much to think about!
