I'm also thinking of you little xxx

ScreamIfYouWantToGoFaster · 18/01/2012 10:28

I hope the bleeding eased off last night Little, how are you feeling this morning? Fingers crossed for your scan later.

PurpleWithaBlueBun · 18/01/2012 10:38

Thinking of you Little, we are here for any hand holding. I hope you are feeling ok :)

TheLittleFriend · 18/01/2012 10:56

Thank you so much for all you lovely kind words. The bleeding has slowed a bit, and I feel a bit stronger emotionally today, ready for later. A tiny bit of me is holding out for a miracle, but I don't want to get my hopes up.

fishcakefoxtrot · 18/01/2012 11:24

little glad to hear it has eased a bit, will be thinking of you later with my fingers crossed and no brooking hat firmly in place.

PurpleWithaBlueBun · 18/01/2012 11:39

I am glad it has eased a bit, there can be many causes of bleeding, so I really hope all is well. :)

On another note, I am absolutely dying of thirst... I have put away at least 2ltrs and still really thirsty this morning. I was quite thirty yesterday but this is really up a gear! Is it a worry or not? I will mention it at my MW appointment at the weekend if it continues. Hopefully it is just a later pregnancy thing?

PopcornMouse · 18/01/2012 12:01

Good luck little brooking for you lots!

PopcornMouse · 18/01/2012 12:03

PS - Purple it can be a symptom of gestational diabetes I think, but your midwife can check for that easily I think? Helpfully, Dr Google thinks that increased thirst can also be "normal" lol

scarletfingernail · 18/01/2012 12:19

Got everything crossed for you Little.
Purple CouId it be the UTI causing you to drink more? That would be my guess, call the midwife to see what she thinks.

PurpleWithaBlueBun · 18/01/2012 12:29

My sample leaked, so they couldn't test but as I have 0 symptoms, so they don't think I do, and my swabs were clear. I will mention it at the weekend if it continues, I didn't have sugar in my wee or whatever that indicates GB so hopefully it is just normal. I did drink a lot with DD the worry is that it has suddenly increased, but only two days so far.

NinjaChipmunk · 18/01/2012 12:32

good luck little, i'll be thinking of you

Imps7 · 18/01/2012 12:33

Arg, have only just realised that there's a new thread! Just popping in to make sure there's still a place reserved for me.

You're all looking gorgeous btw.

Imps7 · 18/01/2012 12:36

Oh, gosh, have just read back. Little so wanting to hear good news from you.

xxx

NinjaChipmunk · 18/01/2012 12:46

imps of course there's a place for you! Silly question.
Does anyone elses MN keep crashing? I keep being thrown off the site for some reason?

TooImmatureTurtleDoves · 18/01/2012 13:16

Little, have fingers crossed so hard for you. Really sorry to hear about the bleeding. Hope you have plenty of RL support getting you cups of decaff tea and feeding you cake while you take it very easy.

Purple, my water intake has also taken a leap in the last few weeks. Am currently dying of thirst and guzzling cold water, but this may be related to the Thai curry I had for lunch. Do you get more sensitive to chilli during pregnancy? I remember drinking heaps of water in the third trimester last time too - if I didn't drink during the day I would wake up in the middle of the night completely parched.

Had my physio class last night and am currently wearing a fetching tubigrip around my hips/lower bump. I'm not sure how much good it's doing me, but I haven't had to hoik up my maternity jeans once today, so I like it! I've also been given a proper support belt, which felt like it pushed my pelvis back together, but you can't wear it sitting so it's no good for work. I was told I needed a new office chair that supported my back properly, but I have solved that problem by nicking a colleague's. Said colleague has been seconded elsewhere, so the chair was just sitting there, and I only have 6.5 weeks of work left and can return it afterwards. Other advice was to observe good posture rules, use the yoga ball and do pelvic floor exercises. If I'm still achey in a fortnight I'll get the consultant to refer me to the physio for a one on one session.

OBEM is on tonight! DH and I are fans, despite both of us crying like saps every time and the fact I had a meltdown last week after the water birth.

ScreamIfYouWantToGoFaster · 18/01/2012 14:04

Thinking of Little right now. I hope the sonographer is giving her good news.

pommedenoel · 18/01/2012 14:16

Really hoping little has good news by now.

I had my induction counselling this am post consultant app. All booked in and 6 weeks to go. Slight wrangle over dates but I think I am right.

Yay for weds and obem. I love it.

NinjaChipmunk · 18/01/2012 14:39

ladies I've just seen this linked to on another thread. Thought it rather amusing.....

PurpleWithaBlueBun · 18/01/2012 15:07

Pomme things are really getting there, 6 weeks is no time.

I really hope Little is ok.

Too I have gone to wearing two tubigrips! My sexiest look is when I have one full length over hips and most of my bump and then the other one folded down holding my pelvis together. Beautiful.

Glad your physio went well and I am glad I am not the only one guzzling water.

Ninja that is very funny!

scarletfingernail · 18/01/2012 15:15

I'm also looking forward to OBEM tonight. DH has watched the last 2 weeks, but I've a feeling he might find something else to do tonight when it's on Grin. I've a feeling the difficult birth last week gave him flashbacks.

Ninja I did giggle at that link. If only....

Pomme 6 weeks to go Shock that'll fly by.

Been thinking about Little all day and keep checking back for good news.

Wants3 · 18/01/2012 17:18

Had my appointment at hospital re weight management. Really friendly ladies running it and attending! I discussed with midwife about my recent tummy traumas and she has suggested I go on gluten free diet for two weeks. Also booked in for glucose load test at 28 weeks.
I need to write a shopping list for gluten free as almost everything in my cupboard contains it!
Hoping to hear news from little too

ScreamIfYouWantToGoFaster · 18/01/2012 17:34

Ninja that is my new favourite website!! Classic!

Biscuitsandtea · 18/01/2012 17:52

I keep popping in for news from Little - hope they're ok...

TooImmatureTurtleDoves · 18/01/2012 18:22

Hoping all is well for Little.

Ninja, that website is ace! Grin at 'yes, the nursery should be more grass green than mint. I'll repaint it.'

Wants, hope the new gluten-free diet helps. It must be difficult to start off with - I never know what has gluten and what doesn't. Still, if it makes your tummy feel better then it's all worth it.

Pomme, wow, only 6 weeks to go! What was your wrangle over dates?
