Im not having a good day at all, im shattered, had a run in with a neighbour as she is a cock, where we live parking get pretty congested and she alway parks in such a way as to take up like two spaces by not pulling forward or reversing, basically she decided i had boxed her in as i got in in front of her in a tight space (she had half a car length behind her?!) and decided to scream words to this effect at me... I had DS with me, and ive had enough so i let rip on the silly bitch, i told her exactly why i had parked as i had, and when she started cursing i told her she was a psychopath and to go scream at her husband he is used to it!! I was shaking with rage! i could quite happily murder her the vile piece of shit. She's a shit parent to, police regularly called to the house as they are pissed up and fighting in front of 4 kids!! She is proper scum makes me so angry you hear them rowing at all hours! I actually would be pleased if she died. painfully i know its bad to say but argh she is just a vile bully, bullies all her kids bullies her long suffering husband... Yuk
DP not home until 2 and not impressed with me as he fears retribution. To be honest if anything happens we will just move. Im annoyed at myself as that diatribe doesnt reflect who i am but im writing today off.
Fair to say im Defeated today! I think i shall just go to bed!

I've been to Flamingo Land today with the boys and my Mum. Its been about 20 degrees!! Its been a great day, saw loads of animals and the boys were brilliant. DS2 kept shouting "Lion King" at the lions which was so very cute.

I've just been arguing with the head midwife person. I need a GTT and its almost impossible to get to the hospital for 9am due to boys needing to get to school, the buses are crap, taxis are a fortune and I need to try and get a lift.

So I asked if I could just have it done at the doctors like I did with DS2, she said no. So I refused to have it done and she suddenly said that if I made the appointment myself I could have it done at the doctors. 1 2 minute phone call later and 1 GTT appt made at the doctors.
Simple really.

Why on earth they can't just send out a letter saying you had to make your own appt like they used to I don't know!!!

Hello all, just a quick one from me. Things going haywire again here. DD2 has contracted broncilitis again. Spent all yesterday on day ward but back home last night. Not great at all. I have had two nights of very little sleep and so dp is coming home early today to take over so I can go to bed with her.

Argh that is her awake now.......

BB - sorry for AF , hope you've had a better day today. Glad DS has been seen and all is ok - is good that "they" do look out for things and better to get a second opinion, but a pain when it causes unnecessary worry for parents.
Ginger - hi! And yes you really are up the duff - no idea where that expression comes from, but I do rather like it hope you are not suffering too badly symptom-wise - is there an optimum do you think - I.e. just enough symptoms so you don't worry and not too much as to make every day hard?!
Ses - how are you? Sorry about your dilemma and that I have not posted on your other thread but looks like you've had lots of input. Hope things are ok. Re. Bedtime - my two are the same with me and DH - go to sleep really well for him and muck around with me (hence why I am sat at the top of the stairs now mnetting on my phone!). Also DD is in that in between phase with naps, so rarely has one in the day now, but when she does, it takes her ages to fall asleep at night - partly because when she does nap it's on the school run at 3pm so quite late in the day. I too think it's because I'm creative over dramatic with my bedtime reading compared to DH, but think it's probably because I'm a soppy softy and he's not.

Right, think both are asleep! Off to deal with the ophthalmologists letter - they are doing a project in schools round here to go into schools and test pupil's eyesight and DS was tested today and referred to the hospital for proper tests to see if his eyesight is actually poor or he just did 't understand the test - really hoping it's the latter and he has inherited his Dad's 20:20 vision rather than my crappy poor vision!

Much happier today, with my Af the way it is i think too many hormones build up for me and make me so down towards end of cycle! Much brighter now! Talked to next door neighbours about psychobitch neighbour and they said they agree and shes like it to everyone which made me feel better! Having my garden done Sat, my LL been brill and has brought round cash to do it! Will mean its useable weather its been wet or not hurrah!
Also means can extend our veggie patch, love growing our own
DS has been a dream today bless him, had a real nice day. Hope everyone else is ok

kitty - new house sounds v exciting!

Ginger - yes, DS is settling better (normally within 30mins). We're still reading to him until he falls asleep but have managed to move from sitting on the mattress beside his bed to sitting in the chair. My plan at somepoint is to start popping out of the room whilst he's awake and saying that I'll be back in a few minutes, sticking to this and gradually leaving him for longer so that he goes to sleep. He's got a bit of a cough at the moment though so will put it off for a little bit longer!

DS is coming out with some really cute things at the moment. I've asked him if he will help mummy when the baby comes and he usually says "yes - O will cuddle and kiss the baby" but today when I asked him he said "yes - the baby will go on O's changing mat and O will clean it's bum"!!

Sun here too but its bloody cold!

Been ill all weekend with sinus pain and cough/cold thing. I am deperate for some sudafed but making do with paracetmol. Felt so exhausted I couldnt take DD to a party, although she'd also been ill so it was probably for the best!
