Have just been and picked up some newborn sleep suits and coming outfit for baby from Tesco. Also got some Muslim cloths and some socks. I love tiny baby's feet.

Cheated and got a lasagne ready meal for lunch and been to a friends for hot chocolate on way home. Need 40 winks now though. Slept from 1130 till 5am so that was pretty good seeing as I didn't the night before and kep DH awake as well. He is being fab about it though although I really do need to shift myself onto the sofa if I wake up in the night as its not fair on him atm as he is working so hard and will have done 13 days straight by Thursday and is working all weekend as well. Planning on going out for lunch on Thursday as he is having a lay off day as he is working at the weekend again.

Hope Hippy is ok.

Mine has moved back up I am sure - his bum is butting up to my ribs which is a bit painful. Have MW and growth scan next week. Still convinced I am small but hey ho. I will be very surprised if this bubba is over 7lb when born.

PamBeesly · 10/01/2012 13:33

Sending all the best wishes to Hippy also woowa good luck, that jumper sounds fab by the way, lucky baby :)
I'm extremely tired today and finding it very very difficult to sleep, I'm so uncomfotable and I wake myself up with the snoring. I'm fighting to keep my eyes open....its going to be a long day!
Lovely for all the people due in early feb/late january...when one baby is born you know it will be you next! I'm not due until the 24th of Feb and I'm finding it so tiring, how will I be at 37 weeks! The people with other DCs are my heroes.

Hi guys, how can I join the fb group? xx

indicababy · 10/01/2012 16:07

AAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaah it burns, one forkful of wedding cake too much. Luckily I have just picked up script for literally another pint of gaviscon!

With you on the waddling and BH Phlossie although I don't think that this babba has engaged any as ribs are still pretty tender.

Hope all is going well for hippysair and thinking of you woowa

PamBeesly · 10/01/2012 21:46

Millie sorry not Milly :)

woowa · 10/01/2012 22:06

thanks for all the good wishes - i'll come on tomorrow night and update if i'm not kept in, otherwise, i guess the next time will be a birth announcement! I'm REALLY tired from all the sorting out and organising and final washing and tidying donetoday, but i'm too apprehensive about tomorrow to sleep!! Saw MW for 37 week apt, and it was lovely! She said i can request a specific doctor tomorrow, and she listened for heart beat, which, despite the 10 scans, i haven't actually heard since 16 weeks. Head is really low down now too. eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee I've had to take my rings off this evening as fingers are a little swollen, but as MW said BP is fine, and I have a scan tomorrow anyway, i'll put it down to too much nesting and not worry about it.

Right, must try to sleep now, DD has been screaming from 3-5am the last two nights so i need to get some sleep in before that starts again!!

night all

37 weeks today!

QueenFee · 10/01/2012 22:41

Good luck Woowa.

Bubs here is really low down tonight. Whether it will last is a different matter.

Dd (7) has been asking lots of questions. Ds1 helped me pack my hosp bag this morning as his school shut. He has picked the babys first outfit :) lovely to see him excited about the baby.

I now have a definate waddle.

Just had home birth appt with my MW. I'm disappointed she didn't get the "Spinal Tap" reference when I asked her if her TENS machine went up to eleven.

Good luck woowa.

Emz33 · 11/01/2012 00:00

Good luck woowa. Is so exciting we have a bus baby already!

Just been to our first NCT class. Was much better than expected. Everyone seems really nice and the teacher is great fun. Although I seem to be due way before everyone else. Closest due date to mine is 3 weeks after me and furthest is in April!

Can someone point me in the direction of the secret fb group please? Tvm.

deardear · 11/01/2012 10:16

Good luck woowa.

Slept really well again last night although had loads of quite painful BH for about an hour before we went to sleep.

Housework day today as done non all week. Oops!

littlemonkeybix · 11/01/2012 10:32

sugar my DP said "there's 6 hours of my life I'll never get back" when I first mentioned that I needed him to come with me to antenatal class - we're doing a one day-er rather than 6 x 1 hour sessions.

I told him to fuck off. Loudly!

I actually then had a massive cry all day at work and we had a mega row that night. He daren't cross THAT line again!

I told him that I needed him to remember everything there, as I'll be in a masive panic and HE needs to be the one to know what I'm doing. I told him it wasnt necessary for the hospital tour, but the classes were essential. And I told him the more he put a negative slant on things, the worse I'd be with him and I threatened to take mum instead.... to everything. (ie no birth fun for him!)

Surprisingly, he listened!

I don't do a lot of telling... as it never gets through with him. I did that day. He listened out of fear mainly.
