I'm really starting to think this guy is holding out for grand enterance christmas day/christmas eve last thing. oh well, dh and I were just saying whatever will be will be, its fine. much as I owuld like it here asap, when its 'cooked' its cooked. and not before. so I'm sitting and waiting (and wishing......)

ninah youre so right, now have blind up should be no excuse for pool not being used....you wanna tell the baby now please!!! all yoru lunches sound fab, altho I am not eating very well...having to 'force' myself,....lost all interest in proper meals, much rather 'graze' and drink hot chocolate!!but would love the tea and gosspi part of lunch. I'm rather bored during the day, tho the children keep me busy, mentally I'm bored iyswim.
my treats were lovely, have had bath, starting with new body scrub, then clary sage ('bring on labour') bath (obviously didnt work.....)followed by new oil lotion after. slightly ruined by sounds of bedlam downstairs, and dh shouting at children, phone ringing, doorbell going etc. which I totally ignored...
well off to surf the net whilst you all sleep/give birth.
(anyone else have mad panicky fear that they are NEVER going to give birth.......or is that just me?!!)

dh got home at 8pm, but I was still ok at that stage, uncomfortable but irregular. Got to bed at around 10.30pm and have been up since about 1.30am, pain definitely stronger now and can't do anything through it, like I could through the day. Had a hot bath and some tea and toast & am in and out of bed. Letting dh and dd sleep a bit longer, and will ring the hospital in an hour's time to see what they say about coming in, seeing as this is a vbac....

I was woken this morning at 5 with the strongest of muscle cramps and BH.... only laasted about half an hr though, but alas i could get back to sleep, so read till about 6 30 then dozed till now, such a draining time for us all right now, imagine of we all lived closer, we would be having midnight meetings!!

BG, no they are our real names! and whist a lot of the story was written somewhat 'cheesily' the general jist of it is all true!!

Well done for doing lunch Ninah. Mine yesterday consisted of a large bag of Minstrels.

Going to help DP & boys do the rest of the food shopping today just to get me out of the house. Not sure how far I'll get but I can always go and sit down with a hot choccy if need be. So fed up with staring at the walls or the TV.

No contraction pains here at all.

its okay george my pains are irregular.......so prob nothing I quite like the idea of minstrels for lunch, having just had cho chip shortbread for breakfast (and OJ and iron supplements.mmm, so yummy...)I think scullys having a baby today!! how cool is that!trying hard to force mine out...LOL
lots of mad nesting going on, and maybe, a walk around the block, tho TBH dont fancy the idea at all. what about you ninah? still hanging on for our planned christmas baby entrance?

I find it weird that they can suddenly start without warning. Just can't get my head round it.

isnt it crazy?? how something that hurts so much we are actually wishing on ourselves asap!!LOL and yes, they start just like that....by tonight YOU could be holding a baby! mad huh? like i keep saying to myself, however much it hurts...or scares me, its not infinate. it all ends in hours not weeks, with a beautiful baby. so we can all do it and get thro it.
sometimes my pains are really intense,...but they arent regular at all, so its not time to phone dh yet. (bugger bugger) just have this feeling, that its actually going to be christmas day. well beats crappy telly and too many relatives doesnt it? few hours peace in my pool....
REALLY must eat a lunch thats high in iron and oh so good for me. mmmmmmmm, dont feel like ANYTHING right now. backaches and just want to lie down....

cramps have subsided...just like that! still no show or anythng else, i think my body is on one big con on me, teasing me with the thought i might be a bit early, then whisking it all away..has left me with awful sciatica in the lower left back..god i cant stand or sit...grrrr we are mad DQ wishing this pain on ourselves, although saying thst i agree its not infinate, and if it hurrys up and happens it hurrys up and goes!!

your brekkies sound great and similar to me...the advent choccie followed by a cpl mof belgium truffles and a mug of raspberry leaf tea!

Bloomin heck - busy busy thread!

All i can say is everyone else seems to be niggling away and have had some sort of 'signs' i've had none . I am due today but just nothing, nothing!.

Secondtimers + does this mean i have still away to go or could I just 'go into' labour - I mean does it matter I havn't had any signs yet? I feel left out

I have managed to sleep better and feel loads better - DQ we ended up putting our blind outside the recess DH is not DIY inclined at all and needs supervising at all times.

aw sorry jays, been doing just that pain no pain thing for a good week now. such fun so UNFAIR and frustrating isnt it? means nothing more than 'you are nearly at the end' -yeah, we knew that!

actually ahve a gift here jays that my friend said i COULD open. so if today gets anymore boring I may do so!!! I know everyone else realised ages ago but its STILL shocking to me that christmas eve is tomorrow!!!! I really want to put dd2 to bed christmas eve and do the cookies for santa thing with her as she goes up ....thats that only time I dont want this baby to come!!!

AWWWWW BBE id rather not be niggling away to be honest, i feel knackered and emotional all the time, id much sooner it just happened and i got it over and done with. But like everyone keeps saying to me all women are different therefore so are pregnancies...its just the horrid waiting game. Feels like we are waiting for everything all at once at the mo, what with christmas and the expectations that it hold and then the expectation of babies arriving, its all quite a lot to be contending with!

crossed posts BBE! yes, you can 'just go' into labour from absolutely nothing. (and GOD dont feel left out, its bloody awful having pains that hurt and then stop...... ) so wishing you a baby very soon and very quick!

Isn't tv so utterly tedious - I feel like nothing can compare to the exzcitiment of our babies! I'm all pampered out too (except toenails - DH has promised to do them - well we'll see!)

Just scoffed two mince pies, only got them last nite at tescos and the best before is today what a great excuse. I also got Brie anticipating Lewis be here so I can consume some before the dates up on that aswell (28th!!!!{grin])

i agree BBE i am bored!! theres only so much crap i can watch, trying to think of something to do but its all done....any ideas welcome!

Even DH is hoke now and hes bored, we are just playing that game of waiting, watched a film, had some lunch, checked bgs, now in car, baby seat in car....had bath, spoken to at least three diff people....those pressies under the tree are winking at me to open them! i might suggest it to DH ....lol

Oh it is exciting I'm waiting for my DH to come home at about three. I've been texting him my version of 't'was the night before christmas...' and the '5days of christmas'.

We have got a copy of latest Harry Potter film (seen it) but we're saving that for tomorrow and we got Max n Paddy's Road to Nowhere - we always get a comedy DVD/ditcom series for over xmas.

I can't really advise Ive trawled thru all my preg mags and websites just checking in case there's that magic bit of info ive missed.

I have started a new thread on xmas pet hates so i've been on there having a few moans!!!!!
