Well, are we?

Has the sickness abated?
Are our locks shiny and luscious?
Are our nails long and strong?
Are we back on form in the 'ahem' bedroom?

No? Well we soon will be ladies it's The second Trimester*

I've just started leaking fluid, it ran down my legs. Kind of white and watery, got to go to see mw when I've dropped dd off at nursery. Getting pains but think it's because I'm panicking.

littlemonkeybix · 09/09/2011 12:57

Take care Crazy thinking of you and keeping fingers crossed everything's marvellous!

I have been feeling chipper again today... except for a one sob in the car to work at a song (ha)

Also this is helped by the fact we are going out for our tea tonight at our fave Italian.... YUMMMMM!

Only 1 more pip kick just recently since 4/5 at yesterday lunchtime. Come on Pip... show yourself!

Oh yeah, and had a v strange dream last night!! I usually have quite vivid dreams, but this one was a bit trippy! I was dreaming I had my baby (no sex known) but it was only 5 inches long and perfectly formed in a tiny cloth nappy and vest. I cradled it in my palm against me, and then got on my horse (WHAT??!) and trotted off over a hill to look for a moses basket! I kept trying to break feed it, but it's mouth was too small!!

I woke up feeling very relaxed, but very protective!

Hope you are all having a good (or better if it's been poo) day Brew

louby86 · 09/09/2011 13:07

Hope everything is ok crazybit Thinking of you, take care. I'm sure you'll be back on in a bit to tell us everything is fine Smile

PamBeesly · 09/09/2011 13:18

Hi crazybit hope you're ok, hopefully the MW will be able to put your mind at ease. Is your OH gone to Peru yet?

babycarmen · 09/09/2011 13:37

18+4

phlossie · 09/09/2011 13:38

Oh crazybit! I'm not surprised you're panicking. I hope you've just wet yourself. Let us know what happens. Thinking of you.

My friend had her baby! She's hardcore! First baby, really quick, but she lost her contractions in the 2nd stage, was threatened forceps so she just pushed her out through sheer will (and strong abs)! And her only 'pain relief' (as she put it) was milky coffee and egg and soldiers. 7lb baby girl called Eden. I can't wait to meet to her.

I've been feeling loads of movement yesterday and today. So reassuring.

mellie at my 16 week appointment we could only really hear baby's heartbeat mixed in with the swooshing of the placenta and my own pulse was in there too. My dd was really dissapointed.

Kayano · 09/09/2011 13:42

Dude I have just this morning started a thread on baby names about the name Eden! That is freaky!!! Lol

Grats to her!

QueenFee · 09/09/2011 14:00

Crazy hope ecerything is ok. Maybe just a type of discharge? I have had loads this pg (sorry tmi)

dopplers loads on ebay for less than a fiver. I can't hear it clearly yet sort of faintly in the background.

We finally has a tentative boys name! Jacob Tom Tom being my grandfathers name :) I said to dh what about your gf name but he said that it was ok as Alfie (ds2) sounds quite like Albert (gf) Ihad a bit of a sigh of relief!
Eden is a lovely name. There was an Eden at toddlers last yr abd she was stunningly beautiful.

Anyone else finding it hard to actually realise that in 20 odd weeks we will have a real baby? I still haven't made that connection/ realisation yet :o

PamBeesly · 09/09/2011 14:04

I love the name Eden kayano your friend is a hero phlossie
QueenFee Jacob is our boy middle name, after DH's father, I think its lovely

Kayano · 09/09/2011 14:18

QueenFee I am also 17+2 :D

I feel excited today. I texted DH about Eden buy he hates it. I will keep on at him for 23 weeks, mightdo the trick

Crazybit · 09/09/2011 14:29

Hi Ladies

Thanks for the good wishes
Have been to see mw, she thinks it may be waters, doesn't look like urine (Had to pull my pants down and show her my pad Blush) I need checking but the day clinic wont see me as i am under 18 weeks (am 16+5) and something about the epu already having 3 ladies en route so they will try to divert them and see me..?? Anyway, mw has sent me home to sort kids out and she's going to let me know.

PamB, yup, DP in Peru so am alone, but neighbour agreed to have kids.

Oh mw just cslled, gotta go in, talk soon x

PamBeesly · 09/09/2011 14:34

Good luck crazy glad the neighbour can watch your dc's. Let us know how you get on x

ZhenXiang · 09/09/2011 15:40

Oh crazybit hope all is ok and it is just discharge, thinking of you x

Queenfee I read that as Jacob Tom Tom at first, then laughed when I realised it was really Jacob Tom, a lovely name and much better than being named after a drum/sat nav (silly me with my pregnancy brain!) Grin

phlossie wow your friend is a star and Eden is a lovely name kayano

Lil' monkey that dream sounds quite nice, all about you being in control (the feeding bit is probably you having a bit of subconscious anxiety about feeding the baby when it arrives, don't worry you will be fine :))

I have real weird ones while pregnant. The other night I had one that a ghost came through my living room wall, grabbed me by the foot and started dragging me into the hallway while trying to possess me. I woke up and made DH go and check on DD to make sure he was ok and he had to hug me for ages before I could get back to sleep. I don't even watch scary movies so I was really freaked out!

littlemonkeybix · 09/09/2011 16:05

Zhen it was quite a nice dream, but a bit more trippy than usual... and you're probably right about the breast feeding axiety!!

It did end up with me in a public loo trying to find a cubicle with a door and/or a loo that worked so I could wee.... which is a recurring dream I have to wake me when I do need a wee in real life!! So I sympathise with the waist high cubicle dreams... mine it's always an option of cubicles with broken doors, sloped loos that I slide off, or overflowing dirty sinks... time to wake up LittleMonkey!

phlossie · 09/09/2011 17:41

crazybit my thoughts are with you. Really scary stuff - I hope it's just a small leak and not a PROM. Take care x

Kayano · 09/09/2011 18:41

My tension headache is back terrible! And this was my last day off work! Gutted! Think it's because I have been on MN literally all day lol

Crazybit · 09/09/2011 19:20

Hi Ladies. All ok. Took an hour to get to hospital, then ages to get parked, was seen quite quickly for an interal. Cervix is closed and she said it was probably urine Blush when I queried the white colour she dismissed as normal pregnancy discharge. she did listen to the baby's heartbeat which seemed fine, but was kind of in a daze. My neighbour had her partner watch the kids while she came with me which was nice but she didn't stop talking which kind of made me dizzy. Probably a good thing though!

Sugar80 · 09/09/2011 19:21

crazybit hope all is okay.

I've had the day off today, and set off to find some clothes that would fit me. It was a thoroughly depressing experience. First to M&S to get bras that I could breathe in. I've gone up two back sizes and down a cup size... given I'm not that well endowed to start with that's not ideal!!

Gap maternity... nice stuff, rammed into a corner in the kids section, no blue skinny jeans in sizes 8-12 - helpful! H&M - ratty selection of stuff shoved on rails so you have to scrabble through it all. Topshop - about 5 items in total. Dorothy P's - jeans were made for fat midgets (and I'm only 5ft 3!). Not entirely unsuccessful - 2 pairs of jeans, work trousers, skirt, a few tops and some hideous yet comfy non-wired granny bras. Reckon that lot should see me through for a while!

PamBeesly · 09/09/2011 19:21

Glad you have some peace of mind crazy, hope you can rest a bit this evening, after the DC's are in bed

phlossie · 09/09/2011 19:39

Phew, crazybit, I'd take peeing myself over losing waters any day!

Crazybit · 09/09/2011 19:41

Thanks all. I know wee is better than waters. :)
Kids are in there rooms watching DVDs so I'm just gonna watch tv and chill.

Soothe · 09/09/2011 20:53

glad panic is over crazy bit!

Sugar - i have just prematurely been looking online at the jeans in h and m etc. I cant stand the over the bump ones but they ALL seem to have them!
Look rank here. Dowdy and dull. Need a bump and a kick up the jacksie i think Wink
Re the underwired bra thing - i've breast fed half a dozen children 10 mths- a year each and worn under wired through all the pregnancies. Wink only my opinion but i cannot spend nine months in a thin cotton noose when it's the time my boobs most need the support. All medical people with tell you not to but i don't see why a well fitting under wired bra would EVER cause a problem. If the wire was against your breast tissue it would not fit properly anyway. Feel free to ignore me but i'll be sticking to underwired but a bigger sizeGrin

Kayano · 09/09/2011 21:22

PDog · 09/09/2011 21:27

Glad to hear all is fine crazybit

Still 'loose' here - have been late for work twice this week because of it Blush.

Need to start eating better but have gone off fruit totally, which doesn't help especially when I am still craving carbs.

Double pram shopping this weekend. Have a good one all.
