What are all your xmas tips and recipes or stuff you're doing to get you thru the next fewdays/weeks to EDD's

I going to try and make a stocking to hang in the nursery for when my little lewis comes home and for the first time bake a christmas cake.

DQ about aches and pains funny you say about the one underneath I have been getting that a lot lately and sometimes am convinced am going to see a little hand pop out and wave at me..lol

TC you have been busy, hope your dh isnt too worse for wear when he returns home. Hope you manage to get some bargains in selfridges aswell..am jealous..lol

scully I am not in a rush for baby to come until induction date even though I am aching etc. I just cant believe how quick its all gone!!!!

Well not a lot on today as we are relegated upstairs. Moved old couches out last night so just waiting for new ones to be delivered today but was having terrible nightmares about it last night. Kept thinking only one person would turn up to deliver and that he refused to lift them into house so I was stood crying while they drove off and left them on the path telling me I was lazy for not helping They actually didnt believe I was 38 wks pg...lol
Wrapped all my xmas presents last night with dh. Got a couple I need to post off including my grandparents who still havent decided if they are coming home for xmas!!!!!!!!!!!!

Arrggh! I cannot fcking BREATHE w/this sinusitis. It's really doing my head in mentally. I had major* anxiety issues w/my PND last time. Was soooo hoping to avoid them, but my rotten sinuses are NOT helping. I'm going to ask to see a consultant tomorrow, b/c I'm starting to get too anxious at night. I sleep maybe 4 hours - an hour here and there. One sinus or both are constantly blocked no matter what I try.

I cannot wait to have this baby. DH has his snip appointment in March. I'm also considering having my tubes tied to make sure I never conceive again.

Even the thought of it makes me anxious.

Well, it's D day - no sign of anything happening though.

I've tried the pineapple, long walk and sex - nothing!

I'd also heard about the foot massage thing - it's supposed to be the area around the achillies (sp?) heal so maybe I should give that a try.

Hope everyone else is doing OK.

Expat - sorry to hear your not feeling well - it will soon be over though.

Nemo - good luck with the sofas today - I'm sure it will all be fine.

OMG, chatty weekend. Trying to read through & catch up but have to go before I've finished.

Thought I'd do a quick post just to let you know I've been busy shopping, marathon 4 hour NCT meeting and wallowing in a bath to get rid of the pain since!

Promise I will be back to catch up properly later or tomorrow am.

george -FOUR hour NCT meeting? blimey..... sounds LONG what did you do? and yes we missed you. how did you find shopping? i'm really struggling to get round now, hot choc breaks becoming more and more frequent! plus moving at the speed of a snail in the crowds is not easy....I still go tho,LOL its a major hobby

Is anyone else totally sick to death of wearing the same few items of clothing! I HATE IT!!!! I find it really depressing to have a choice of about 2 pairs of trousers - both trackie bottoms.

Hi all,

Am soooo bored! HAve had 2 days stuck in the house and im feeling yuck! Dh has worked all weekend which is the first time for a whole year and my hips have been agony so havent been out of the house! DS has been ok on the whole, Did all his christmas cards for school yesterday and let him play out front on his scooter today but he has found it hard! We normally do somtehing at weekends! He made a huge mess in consevatory earlier and glitter, glue, paper etc was every where and i went a bit mad at him, he disappeared and i found him asleep on his bed! Bless him!
Nothing in the fridge for tea so we are having sausages and frozen roast potatoes! Yum
Want to get out of the house but hips sore and money non existent!
Busy week this week though and DH has 3 days off which will be lovely. Tuesday have DS nativity and then consultant at 3pm. Wednesday im meeting friends for lunch in town. Thursday i have Dh home and physio in afternoon and friday night im out on a big childminder christmas meal thingy! 25 cackling ladies and a very hot curry!!!
Am really on a down hill slope now emotionally and only havng this baby will stop me slipping. Watched discovery health today and a midwife was using a sponge in a stick to clean a babies eye! Was uncontrollably sobbing cos it bought back memories of my mum in hospital. Really stupid things are setting me off and ive lost interest in everything. Roll on Tuesday when maybe they will put me in a padded cell!!!

Well my couches are here!!!!!!!!!!! Think I pulled a muscle moving them around etc[naughty pg woman I know] but htey were wet and dripping rubbish on my new carpet or thats my excuse. Just had a lovely hot bath and now sitting relaxing on sofas...so baby am ready now...well once my friend brings my crib on tuesday...although stay put till week after..lol

Party went well although dd has been sick as a dog due to a sore throat,out like a light though so not all bad,she really enjoyed her party and put on a brave face,even though she was sick.....

Sh,bet as soon as you finish ur exams the twinges will start,I have had real weird pains,do babys still move if u go into labour or does it not move for days?Who would of thought this was my second???

hey ladies expat -yeh, frumpy is how I feel, hate feeling frumpy! but dont mind, is worth it of course and it took some crap to get here (pg with fourth I mean)so I'm hanging in there.
ebbie, movement here has slowed down alot, still there, but less and more 'rolling' type with odd hefty kick thrown in. just said to dh how quiet pumpkin had been tonight. suspect it will make up for it when I finally go to bed!!.
its my scan tomorrow!!omg, feels like forever waiting for it and now its here. nervous as heck! its at 10am so please wish me luck guys.

i hate feeling frumpy, i just 'forget' I'm pg for a moment, then catch a glance of myself and think sh*t! how wide am I?? then my ankles puffed up and i developed a rash/dry skin all over my arms and legs,............oh its so glamerous.

on a funny note, dh had to paint my toe nails tonight I couldnt bear it any longer. hes hopeless!!!!!! spent more time wiping it off skin than putting it on nails.....pmsl it was soo funny to watch. bless him for attempting it tho. wont it be nice to reach toes!?

I'm American, so it has been fun to IM my pals back in the States in 'live time'. I only took two small naps today, though, so feel really tired.

I've made my white chocolate fudge and brandy butter and frozen chocolate truffles and cookies already.

Last night when I woke at 2 and gave up at 3 I even made these jammie dodgers I'd seen on 'Big Cook, Little Cook'. They turned out great!

Also got all the cards done, just hoping DD will sit on Santa and I can send photos of her on his lap along w/the cards to friends and family back home.

Done LOTS of online ordering on American sites as well, and had the stuff shipped to my folks as they'll be here for 20 DEcember.

Am SO gutted b/c it appears the nail varnish I want is discontinued and I feel even frumpier w/o it.

How sad is that??
