What are all your xmas tips and recipes or stuff you're doing to get you thru the next fewdays/weeks to EDD's

I going to try and make a stocking to hang in the nursery for when my little lewis comes home and for the first time bake a christmas cake.

Yellowbear, Bonkerz, Ninah i love pictures and your all sound great, i have one of those wooden nine frames in one frame ( if that makes sense) i have a pic of the baby in the middle ( her 4d scan) then headshots of myself and DH, my Mum and her Husband, my Dad and his wife, and then DH's parents all surrounding her. Perfect fit!

things here are ok, babys fine ( albe that shes lying back to back which isnt nice, but theres lots of movement and kicks, wishing i was one of the peeps that are due any day but alas still have three weeks + to go...i am away to Nottingham tomorrow with DH till Sunday so wont be around for a bit again but,fingers crossed, should be around again as of next week

Welcome back Jay. This p/g lark is a strange one so hope you are feeling OK now.
If you go into labour from 37 weeks they consider it term so it could well be any time now for any of us. 5 weeks maximum to go for us both & our little bundles will be here.

Mine is 5/5ths engaged and has totally dropped. Does this mean anything in the land of first p/gs? Am drinking raspberry leaf tea as I type as I am so ready to have this baby now.

ladies hey i made my hair apointment!! its was quite uncomfy sat there that long,-massive BH all the way thro -bit scary! (esp for hairdresser..) but hey, am far more blonde and glamerous now (okay baby you can come nooooooooooooooooooow)

i had to buy balloons today My midwife suggested as our house is abit hard to find/spot we tie balloons on the hedge when we've called the midwife out. i was so chuckling at this packet of balloons in my shopping trolley

Just ordered a new freezer as the freezer man decided ours was totally dead earlier, yep it's another appliance to add to the preggie replacement list. Oh no, where will I store all the delicious home cooked food I'm going to make for once I've had the baby!!!

not a lot going on here apart from middle panic attacks. This time next week I will be on my last night without baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Trying to decide whether to ask someone to take adam for a couple of hours on the tues or wed just so I can catch up on some sleep etc. However I know I am going to be away from him on the thurs and poss fri so what to do without him feeling pushed out!!!!!!!!! Am also worrying about the ECG tommorow as keep thinking things are going to well at the moment so what if somethign shows up!!!!!!!!

SH - It's going to be happening very soon for you how exciting, for a minute there I thought my prediction of 4.30pm this afternoon was going to be spot on

Jay - Nice to hear from you, glad everything is OK and don't worry 3 weeks will fly by even though it doesn't seem like it, just think back to the day you first found out you were pg and if your anything like me you will realise just how quickly time has gone.

I met up with 2 lovely m-netters this afternoon we had a good chat and a nice cuppa in Debenhams with there adorable kiddies, reallt made George look tiny and reminded me how quickly they grow.

Hope everyone is keeping well, only 17 days till Xmas and I haven't bought a single gift yet, not a good thing when I have 5 brothers and 1 sister to buy for (damn my rabbit of a mother) Oh well DH is off next week until Boxing day so I suppose we shall go and do it one day next week.

Apart from hoovering tomorrow (house and car if I am at all motivated....) think that's it on the nesting front for now dd wants me to take her bike riding, so we may go to the park if the weather is agreeable. Also finally got my Boots vouchers yesterday so want to pop in and see what I can get for free or discounted at least

Hi Jays, Good to have you back, We all get a little off now and again, so i hope the couple of days away relax you..

I have just cleaned up the whole house and DP had installed dishwasher and i have thrown out deep fat fryer and replace it with a new one.. (we have been doing that since we moved in!! a year ago!!) Getting BH big time and the pressure down there is somthing eles.. Anyone eles have this??

Hello everyone else....glad all is well,hope u r ok too yellow bear[is that right],cant remember a bloody thing....
Lent my car to someone i dont really know well,but do kind off[iukwim],until 22nd and boy do i miss it already...Because of lack of movement etc and swelling had to go to day unit today,they monitured me and said i was having contractions while i was there......
And although i have had pains[period type]i really dont think anyt thingis happening anytime soon.....
Dh isill,tonsulitus or somethingand dd has a rash on her face,solooks like will be delievering this baby by myself....

Feel so sore in my right boob,espnipple,could it be masatisis[sp],had it when bf dd,but why now?today of all day?Cant sleep.......
