:o miniG really is a perfect combo of pleasure and pain. Little rascal (will do not be laughing when sprout starts these antics)

Wonder if I can get an entire campervan as a push present? Think I might have to have had quads :(. (seeing as TB had bought himself a new Mac i think I am gazing)

MrBitey · 22/07/2011 19:19

Am glad you're not laying owlie as I was worrying about your pool not being there and was very jealous but also wish for your sake that you were!

MadameBoo · 22/07/2011 21:01

OMG!!!!111!!!! Cockdodger! Tis a good job I lurk here or I wouldn't have known your news

Jolly well done, am blimmin' well chuffed to bits for you :)

AlpinePony · 23/07/2011 07:18

cockdodger Well done old gal - I think most've us could've gone without all that "cock". I'm all for a handy basting kit to be applied before going to bed rather than all that amour ! Wink

I suspect the population of Italy has increased by "uno". Grin Nuffing on fb, just again, like ginfox conspicuous in her absence, cryptic message put on fb thursday night and she did say that if you lot didn't get a shift on she'd beat ya! Wink I don't think they intended to let her go to 40 anyway. I may well be wrong. She may well just be sat by Lake Como with a dozen scantily clad Adonii tending to her every need. As am I when I close my eyes.

LadyG Brilliant news about your dilation and so glad to hear it didn't hurt - that's supposed to be an excellent sign by all accounts - you know, that your body is getting good 'n' ready! You will shortly have a baybeeeeee!

Braaaaahn/moo Are you thinking about maternity clothes at all yet? I was having a quick browse yesterday but the autumn/winter collections aren't really in yet. Have you seen any nice "work wear"? Not too expensive and must be available for those of us with hips greater than 36"! e.g., Mamalicious = gorgeous, funky. Sizing = anorexic teen! Wink

BrownB · 23/07/2011 08:08

Morning all!

I noticed your recent brief appearance in the Palais Cockdodger, but haven't actually met you. Nice to see you here!

And as for maternity wear Alps - one of my best friends is also six feet tall, and similarly svelte , and has loaned me all her maternity wear. Grin Grin Grin She has two kiddies now, and has a selection of both summer and winter wear, so I am a very grateful recipient frankly.

Go GG go!! Fingers crossed it all kicks off without the 'help' threatened for tomorrow.

Scorpette · 23/07/2011 09:05

Cocky! You old shlaaaaaaag! A visit to Euro Jizzney paid off, eh?! (To newer ESH, this is our very own AI destination!) Bloody delighted to see you back in these parts, now givvusasnog

Rockin'Robin, I would be exactly the same about the dog. I even veer Mr T's pram away from people who look a bit skanky; now that's PFBism for yeh! Which means MIL must never touch him, ho ho.

I hope I didn't come across as too boasty about my iPad. Like I said, TYF is not one for the big gesture usually and he also fancied an iPad himself, heh :) For the first 6 weeks, I was spending literally the whole day with T BFing or sleeping on me, screaming at the sound of the tv, radio or even page-turning until a few wks ago, so he could see I needed something to keep me entertained during this time. Of course, the iPad arrived after that phase passed!

BTW, in a move of genius passive-aggressiveness, TYF only sends MIL pics of me with the baybee, knowing she just wants pics of him alone or with TYF, buahaha Grin

LadyGoneGaga · 23/07/2011 09:13

Despite sweep yesterday and some of teh sechs last night (really a duty rather than a pleasure) not a sausage today. No twinges, no shows, nada. So bring on the big guns tomorrow. I could elect to wait it out but frankly I am too impatient and cognisant of the baybee growing and growing. If growth scans are to believe it is already heading for 9 and a half lb and don't want a 10lber if can be avoided.

Yeah, where is that Macca?

laurielou · 23/07/2011 09:29

LadyG tis early in the day yet, it may still happen. If not I'll be thinking of you tomorrow. Blardy well done teh secks too - my undercarriage was definitely a one way street by that stage of diffment.

I'm going to have my hair cut today, first time since the head mole murder scene fiasco in March. I'm so excited about a bit of pampering & the thought of a hot cup of coffee that I may just wee myself Grin

Happy Saturday one & all - beautiful weather, new hair do, BugBoy currently asleep on Mr Loz - all is good in my little world.

AlpinePony · 23/07/2011 09:53

I've had a productive morning - cleaned & de-cobwebbed almost all of downstairs and had time to discover this: list of maternity online shops - I am loving Crave for "almost everything I need" but also Picchu and a couple of the american ones.

laurie That sounds lovely - are you going out on your own? i.e., in total luxury and have time to wander and ponder?

ladyG have you tried rubbing garam masala on your cervix?

MrBitey · 23/07/2011 12:13

score TYF is a genius! I was going to suggest sending her pics of any old baybee by mistake

Smurk and phnaaar phnaaaar at skihorse de-cobwebbing her downstairs. Make sense to do it while you can still see it I suppose!

Pins badge on gaga for services to baybee laying, well done you on last nights sechs! Poor show on not even a sausage this morning though < more smurking>

Oh God I am channeling my inner school boy again!

Have a lovely day lozenge good to know there is life after laying!

I have strimmed and mowed the lawn hoping to annoy the baybee out with the noisy machinery. The result has been shakey arms, a sore back and a very patchy lawn that the FDH is sure to moan about! No baybee though.

MrBitey · 23/07/2011 12:14

PS the lawn in my garden, dirty feckers.

macaroonmum · 23/07/2011 13:25

Jay-sus, you go 'away' for a bit and everyone panics
no bambino here - 5 more days Shock - the shouting on FB was because i might have a divorce instead. I am SO FUCKING ANGRY with TIS because of a whole array of general disinterest in this pregnancy AND....AND the fucking outlaws have 'told' us, yes 'told' us, that they'll be staying an extra week so can we book them a hotel please. FOR FUCK'S SAKE!! this child is going to be born with a high BP and colic after all this. I even blatantly lied about accom availability in a not-so-subtle way of telling them that 2 weeks is more than enough thanks .
And on top of all that I've got Strep B. ffs.

Anyway, more importantly...
shewhoavoidsthecocks congrats! I remember you visiting the Palais on occasion.

GG your cervix has obviously finally listened to all of us and got things going. Am sorry you have to resort to sechs, espesh as it doesn't seem to have been productive yet. Still...exciting!

Am exhausted off for a kip.

LadyGoneGaga · 23/07/2011 14:07

I had a debate about pubic topiary with myself whilst in shower this morning, razor poised. To shave, or not to shave. Bearing in mind I look like I have Jeremy Clarkson peering out of my fanjo. I did my legs and pits (some semblance of appearnces) but decided even if I did shave I would make such a cack handed job of it it would be even more alarming. Bit like Britney when she went mental only dark. So am proudly sporting an all natural "Joy of Sex" bush. To be admired by my 20 year old, skinny, blonde beautiful midwifery student who will be most likely delivering my baybee. Just as well I am secure in my self esteem, right? RIGHT?

Macca that sucks. What the fucking, fuck is your man playing at in not managing his parents in this way. Could he be secretly very excited by the pregnancy and just doing the man "playing it cool" thing? Don't really know what to suggest bar putting itching powder into his pants. But you don't need to be feeling cross and shit right now. Hugs.

Are you doing outdoor nesting, Bitey? Most odd. Stop it now and go and sit down and eat cake.

Baby has turned around again. From back on right side to back on left side. How the fuck it did that without me noticing I have no idea. Seeing as it is massive and cant possibly have any kind of manouvring room in there

LadyGoneGaga · 23/07/2011 14:08

Sadly we have no garam masala, Smackthepony Should certainly add to the overall flange effect.

MrBitey · 23/07/2011 14:23

Oh maccas that's terrible! Can all the in-laws just fucking fuck off! Feeling your pain there. Shitty about the strep b too, but does that mean you both stay in hospital on antibiotics? where your in laws can't get at you Not long until you are snuffling your beautiful boy and the rest will seem irrelevent anyway. More hugs.

The thought of a mega diffed group hug has just made me Grin as we would all ackshily be standing so far apart!

I waved the remington fuzz away in the general direction of the pubic area gaga have no idea what the results are like as can't reach half of it anyway but am now secretly hoping for a Britney! The baybee must have moved one of you organs, perhaps a kidney, out of the way for the three point turn .

Am off to bed, lawn mowing has ruined me. Maybe I will have a baybee while I am there?

CockDodger · 23/07/2011 14:23

erm... thanks for all the messages - especially those from the stalkers lurkers of yore!

I can't quite believe it yet. However, I am now making alternative working arrangements as the job I have cannot be done in the early, middle or late stages of internal baby-growing. And I am self-employed. Sigh.

Am now trying to get away with spending the next 8 months on the sofa with a cool flannel on my forehead. Who needs money, eh? Pass the crisps.

You layers are all holding out to lay on the same day, aren't you?

Alps though your advice is good, I think you meant to suggest crushed chillies. Garam masala can sometimes cause itching when placed on the cervix.

Apologies, Boo. I thought if I mentioned it at the spa, it would make it more real - and I definitely don't need any more reality yet!!

owlbooty · 23/07/2011 16:09

Cockermouth bloody hell woman, are you a nuclear weapons inspector or summat??

My BP seems to be abnormally high today and my ankles are puffing. Fucksticks. I am v.fed up and now anxious to boot.

If my inlaws announced they were staying for two weeks - nay, a solitary week - I would move out. Yes, seriously.

owlbooty · 23/07/2011 16:11

Also GG Owlet does that pretty much daily. Sometimes he is LOA and sometimes he is ROA. He must actually have a neck like an owl given that his head is firmly jammed in my pelvis and feels like it is about to fall out if I cough. It effing hurts when he turns around though.

Scorpette · 23/07/2011 16:17

Angry for Macca. We have the opposite problems: me and ice-heart MIL and you with the overbearing Italian Mama. Your DH defo needs to put them right, but I shouldn't really be doling out the advice seeing as I let TYF get away with never sorting out/confronting his folks. Yours seems to be doing it the wrong way round - he needs to be excited aboutnthe pg and keeping his folks at bay, harumph. If only we could set up an international ESH protection service to kicknthe arses of everyone who upsets or pisses off our sistahs!

There's no need to have Teh Sechs, GG Shock - you're already pg Wink It sounds likenyou're more than ready to lay now, whether au natural or via induction. Can I get a final snog before you selfishly reserve all your smackers for your baybee? GOOD LUCK!

Ladies, I gave birth with a full Leo Sayer undercarriage, plus cavewoman pits and legs and my delicate flower 18 yr old trainee mw didn't bat an eyelid nor did I care (well, apart from apologising for having fuzzy legs to the hot anaesthetist, tee hee).

Loz, I hope you've returned from the hairdresser's looking likenyou've, er, just stepped out of a salon and not an extra from Texas Chainsaw Massacre like last time... Confused

AlpinePony · 23/07/2011 18:07

hahahahahaha

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/pregnancy/1265466-Can-I-eat-M-S-meringue-nests

Medee · 23/07/2011 18:36

haha, Alps. Also, FFS!

gaga sechs didn't work for us either. Hope things move soon.

My MIL was up this week, and minor irritations pale into insignificance next to her super-ness - I am v grateful when I hear your tales.

BrownB · 23/07/2011 19:14

And today I seem to have started puking... WTF?! I feel sick as a dog - since about 4pm. We have about 20 people coming over tomorrow for my birthday. Fucking fucksticks. My OH is about to bring me some pasta and I'm heaving at the thought. Crackers I may be able to stomach... Dear god.

Sorry about the MIL problems Scorps and Macca. Luckily I'm with Meedee and am happy to accept any help on offer from that camp. It's my mother I have problems with. Pretty major issues - she's currently cut out of my life. Am not entirely sure what to do about here with the baby coming. It's not like she's a doting granny with my older brother and his two fabulous girls. (She's not even met the youngest who is now 18 months old)

As for meringue nests. Honestly!

BrownB · 23/07/2011 19:57

Quick question for unhysterical advice? When do you actually need to stop wearing underwired bras? If I put that question into general circulation, am certain I will have judgy nasty bitches making all sorts of comments about being 14 weeks and wearing underwires...

BrownB · 23/07/2011 19:58

...and as I'm here talking to myself... we've figured out that the puking was related to too little water drinkage during the day. Was a bit dehydrated, and hopefully that is that, and no more sickness need apply.

rollerbaby · 23/07/2011 20:04

Hi everyone. Hope you are all having faaaaaaabulous weekends.

gaga shagging at this stage is madness. It only serves to make you menkul. My major tip is go up and down stairs ALOT. That works - baby's head bumping on cervix is what often gets things going...

brownie so long as underwire doesn't touch your breast and is properly fitted there's not much reason to stop wearing them throughout your pregnancy - I wore Anita ones which I had fitted and had to upgrade size at the very end when they got mashousive. I wore them for nursing too. No probs whatsoever. Its important to get them right size though so recommend going to somewhere like Pretty Pregnant if nyou are in London.
