Definitly still hoping to come pol the plan is that me, sprout, sis and 2 nieces come (if thats still ok?) and we send TB and BIL off biking. We will prob come early and leave in time for the girls to have a late bed time as Sis is only about 45 mins from you. BUT i am not sure I have convinced TB yet. Think he is a little put off by the long journey as we will have to come down Friday night after work. Also need to confirm with my sis as although I've discussed it with her, we have not said for definite. Sorry to be so bloody vague! I'll try and sort it out and let you know.

Truffs and Babs yes - I only put on 2lb during the first 20 weeks. And over 2 stone during the remaining 20 weeks.

Important Owlet update - there will be no rummaging this morning (well, not that sort anyway). At dawn this morning, fucking niagara falls - honestly, had no idea it could be like a frigging tidal wave. Thank god I had put a towel on the bed. Am now waiting for it to all kick off (and still leaking attractively). Pliz to send me easy sneezy vibes, ESHies :)

Ohhh exciting!! Take my advice, don't wait for it to kick off if you are not having contractions. Get bouncing, walking, climbing the stairs and mainlining the clary sage, you want those contractions to start within 24 hrs ideally or they will advise you to go in for induction (you don't have to mind you)

Truffkinikins and BB I put on about 11k (about 1.7 stone) the whole pregnancy and most of it was in the last 3 months. Nothing to do with the vats ice-cream, no sir.

Was sneaking in to wave to Scorps and the scrummy Mr T who we bumped into for the first time yeterday, both are gorgeous! We had a very full and exciting day at the beach (in our landlocked city!) and doing lots of shopping in the sales - hoorah! Not sure I could have managed two by myself, but having my mum around is great. I don't want her to go back home tomorrow

I hate you all. I put on 4 stone. Plus the stone I gained around the teflon womble incident. 2 down, 2 (3) to go. Would much rather have gained only a little...much easier afterwards and anecdotally seems to make no diff to the baby itself.

Really looking forward to Pol's party. PiL's camper van is booked. Must indoctrinate Piglet into sling wearing before we go. MrG also bought me a lovely ring sling for birfday so need to try that out. Otherwise will be using the Moby.

And terribly excited for Mistress Owl. Hopefully contractions will kick off soon.

Am considering introducing a dummy. Piglet had a bad night last night and wondering if it will help settle her. MiniG never had one, had zero interest when it was offered. any thoughts?

Annoyed today. Some silly bint took it upon herself to capture my cat and take her to the vets. In case she was a stray . Seeing as she was on my drive as I pulled away at 9am. And at the vets by 1pm. Twat. Who has the time to go about capturing cats on the off chance? Luckily she is microchipped.

lady wtf re: your cat? Is she bonkers? We have a mad old woman who comes and talks to our cat, she tries to coax him out and has learnt his name by over hearing us when we call him. She proper creeps me out and I think she is going to try and steal him one day.

Pollster I don't think I'm going to be able to make it to your party MIL is retiring end of this month & planning some big party before she goes off travelling for a while. Although she is pretty rubbish at organising things, she's mentioned the party on the same day as yours. Of course this pretty much guarantees it will be another day. Seriously gutted - would love a couple of days away to meet lovely ESH's.

I used a dummy with no1 to avoid thumb sucking and will prob try one with cheeriO too but will get rid of it earlier . He really fusses just before going to bed in the evening and i think it'd help me

Got my triple-test results back today - tbh was not worried as would've received a phonecall from mw friday or monday had it been bad. 1:1500 for Downs and 1:5000 for Patau/Edwards and NF measurement well below average. Now I can go out and get pissed to celebrate.
