Hi Guys, A bit late checking in, but Faye Elizabeth was born at 03.50 hours,4.8.11, after a 30 minute active labour, 2 pushes, and a 59 minute slog to deliver a rather large placenta.....

littlemisslozza · 06/08/2011 20:41

Congratulations Firawla! Glad to hear all is well. I wonder if I'll be joining you in the 'three boys club' on Monday?? Only about 36 hours until I find out!

DS2's 2nd birthday tomorrow so had a busy day baking and cooking for family lunch tomorrow. Got to go to hospital for my c-section pre-op tomorrow evening then DH and I are going out for dinner as the boys will already be in bed by the time we've finished at hospital. Going in at 8am Monday morning, pretty excited but nervous too - hoping my cs goes as well as the last one. Good luck with yours too Leilandri. I don't have internet on my phone but if I can use my brother's I'll post on here, otherwise I'll fill you in when I get home later in the week.

Hoping for lots of birth announcements this week!

littlemisslozza · 06/08/2011 20:42

Congratulations impatient! WHat a speedy arrival!

konatsu · 06/08/2011 20:55

Congratulations to Selina, MrsV, Firawla and impatient1!!! I hope I did not forget anyone!
Fantastic birth stories!!! Smile

I?m counting down now. I?ve my CS booked for the 10th but I?m feeling so tired and my feet are so swollen that I barely walk?not to mention I can no longer fit none of my shoes?Sad

BH also are killing me, I have them constantly ...

Have you decided what to do with Vitamin K for the baby. Are you going for the one shot at birth or for the 3 times taken orally? Hmm

bettyboo83 · 06/08/2011 23:26

Oh I'm so jealous of all these babies! Congratulations everyone Smile I've spent the evening eating pineapple whilst bouncing on my birthing ball and... nada Hmm Good luck littlemiss and leilandri. I've opted for the vitamin K by injection Konatsu.

rooks14 · 07/08/2011 01:12

Welcome rooks don't worry about being late to the party! Hope you get some movement soon.
Congrats firawla and impatient - lovely names btw. Agree we need to know some names of other babies!
Konatsu we're going for the vitamin K injection too.
Hope those with CS's booked for tmoz are all ok and looking forward to it, less than 48 hours now till you meet your babies, eeek! Grin
Am hoping all these short labours are a good omen for us first timers!
COME ON BABIES, let's be having you!

davidtennantsmistress · 07/08/2011 07:43

Hi all,

sorry have been away so long! finally on maternity leave - YAY! so will have some time to catch up.

congratulations to those who have had their bumps, do we still have our list running on due dates?

no movements/changes here, bubs is 3/5 but not too fussed as DS was 4/5's for about a month he engaged & was born the next day. hoping it's early thou as my hip's are now aching, can't get comfy and if y'day is anything to go by i'll be walking like a cripple if it's any longer still 37+6. :)

Annie456 · 07/08/2011 09:39

Congratulations to all on the safe new arrivals-keep us updated on names!

Had a lovely day yesterday-celebrated my birthday a month early with a big BBQ and my mum and mates organised a few baby related games. was really nice although was the first time being sober has bothered me the whole time as people got really drunk! Didn't manage to get much sleep as carpal tunnel has crept in and is making my hands really painful at night-got shoulder pain too but not sure if that's caused my CT?? Any tips for some relief other than paracetamol when really bad??

Am 37 weeks today so will re-start the RLT campaign!
Xx

KLou111 · 07/08/2011 09:56

Congratulation impatient!!

Oh all these lovely babies are making me very Envy 39+3 here and nothing seems to be working. A friend suggested skipping as it worked for her lol.

alliwant · 07/08/2011 12:13

Hi, I have not posted for a long time, and have name changed from wheresmytractor

Erin Vanessa Joni was born on the 3rd August 8lb 1oz. We are both doing well, many congrats to all who have had their babies.

ohanotherone · 07/08/2011 16:51

Congratulations to you aswell ex wheres my tractor.

Thought it was starting this afternoon, but everything has now gone quiet Sad

littlemisslozza · 07/08/2011 16:54

COngratulations alliwant, I had wondered about you as I know we had similar circumstances. Glad to hear all is well.

littlemissw · 07/08/2011 16:55

Congratulations impatient and alliwant! What lovely names. I particularly like Joni - it would have been on my list if we were having a girl. Hope the move went smoothly and you are all settled in now alliwant. How are the boys finding it having a new sister in the house? :)

39 weeks today with lots of BH. Had a teeny bit of show last night, but nothing to get excited about. Even so, hopefully not too much longer. sigh...

Leilandri · 07/08/2011 17:20

Congrats to impatient and alliwant Lovely names :)

Really emotional now, said "bye-bye" to my little man as I packed him off to his grandparents, ready for CS tomorrow. Can't believe that he's not going to be my "baby" anymore - so I blubbed for a good hour after he had gone Blush
Bag all packed, cooking a lovely tea of lasagne and garlic bread before the starving has to start later. No internet on my phone, but if I can figure out DH's smartphone then I'll post tomorrow, if not it will be tues/weds.

Good Luck for your CS LittleMissLozza and for anybody else over the next few days, I look forward to more birth announcements from "the other side" Grin

MrsStevo · 07/08/2011 18:46

HUGE congratulations to Firawla, impatient and allIwant - fabulous news. And GOOD LUCK to Leilandri for tomorrow.

I have missed two weeks worth of news which i won't ever catch up on now, but I hope you are all well and enjoying the last few days / weeks of your pregnancies!

Me and my girls are finally home - got back on Friday. It is SO nice to be home and we are loving settling into proper family life. The girls are adorable and very well behaved most of the time - just a bit grizzly when they're hungry (which I empathise with!). I'm guessing we're supposed to migrate to a post-natal thread at some point ... where are we all moving to?

KLou111 · 07/08/2011 19:33

Congratulations on your little girl alliwant beautiful names all round :)

Nice to hear from you MrsS :) Glad you're finally home with your girls.

Still nada here. Had a lovely day, been to the woods for a walk with the dogs, then to the nearby pub for a sunday roast, then a drink by the river (next to the pub), Bella decided to jump in and take her first 'swim' comical!! Now home, chillin with my bags of chocolate, well DH has a bottle of cider, so it's only fair :)

alliwant · 07/08/2011 22:10

Thanks all,

littlemissw We are moving this Friday coming! Eeek! Stressful, but this time next week we will be settled back in beautiful Cornwall. I'll post you when we have the internet back, if you still fancy getting together. Erin is such a good baby, so settled and quiet. Fingers crossed it continues Grin

davidtennantsmistress · 07/08/2011 22:26

Leilandri · 08/08/2011 07:24

deep breath Well here goes....... xx

MrsVidic · 08/08/2011 07:31

Good luck Leilandri! Congrats firwalwa and all other new mummies! I've set up a post natal thread.

Were going to have to stay in hospital until Tuesday / Wednesday due to menot getting iv anti biotics for gbs.
I am missing my dd so much - she visits daily but it's really hard to keep her entertained! She loves her new baby sister and keeps trying to sing twinkle twinkle little star to her. She also keeps wanting to change her, feed her and carry her Hmm think I'm going to have my hands full!
