Sorry missredSad

Like the separate thread, where is it? Although I always find myself scrolling down to it to find out folks dates so I can compare myself, "they due b4 me and have scan date, woe is me" etc. Wonder if we could sign ourselves off with date or how far along like:
16th
Or
6+1

OddEyes · 24/06/2011 11:25

Am so green, but not been sick. Dd currently watching far too much tv!
Telling close friends now as I keep seeing them and can't converse properly until I have and would want their support if have another mc anyways.
Think going to start trying to write an email to my new job today too, they currently writing my timetable so think they should know.
See gp on 1st. Jealous of folks scan dates.
6+1

ruby28 · 24/06/2011 11:43

Hi everyone, congrats to you all! Didnt at all think there would be a thread for Feb 2012 but I would love to join as my due date is Feb 18th. Was previously told by nurse that my test was negative but numerous home tests confirmed I was - I knew it! First pregnancy so am pretty nervous yet excited too! :-)

BillComptonstrousers · 24/06/2011 12:00

Hope everyone is not feeling too green this morning!

So sorry to hear your news missread

I'm desperate for some food shopping but just can't face traipsing into Durham to go to the supermarket, plus I never know what I fancy/ want to eat, but it's costing me a bloody fortune going to the local shop every day in the 30 min gap I get when I don't feel sick, to buy something I want.

I'm so bored of lying around in bed as well, my one day off today and I feel I should be up and about, the sun is shining, but I can't be bothered. Children got themselves sorted and off out to school this morning, so have not left my bed since last night Blush

Good god, what a whiney, self-indulgent post, someone give me a slap Grin

InnocentRedhead · 24/06/2011 12:02

BillComptonsTrousers... I will not give you a slap, i love your thinking and wish i could do the same!! You be as whiney and self-indulgent as you want! Not feeling green at all this morning, i think i have got evening sickness imo!!

InnocentRedhead · 24/06/2011 12:04

If you are feeling Nauseous, try cucumber, i am eating a sliced half cucumber right now and feel great !!!

BillComptonstrousers · 24/06/2011 12:20

I think I'm feeling a bit guilty about lazing around when lots of people on here have toddlers and need to be running around after them all day, whilst I'm laid in bed like the bloody Queen of Sheba.

Just rang my DH as he is on a ginger ale run for me at the shops, just to bellow down the phone 'Get me a cucumber' I think he knows better than to ask me what that's all about!

lilyrose123 · 24/06/2011 12:23

well you won't feel lazy when getting lo out of there in feb!!!!
or in the aftermath so make most of feeling lazy now as you may forget what it feels like later LOL

BillComptonstrousers · 24/06/2011 12:33

This is true! I'm packing in work quite early as well, 32/33 weeks so I can have christmas off this year!, will make a lovely change as I've worked the last four years.

InnocentRedhead · 24/06/2011 12:35

Laughed at your post BCT, am sat here just chuckling to myself haha! And too true, we will be putting in enough effort in February to sleep a lifetime now!!

I'm working until as late as I can.. I have to as me and DP aren't on great wages and i don't qualify for SMP, just MA

BillComptonstrousers · 24/06/2011 12:44

Poor bugger doesn't know whats hit him Innocent, he is being so kind and patient with me, I can't remeber being this much of a nobber when I was pregnant last time!

Just checked my bank and I've been paid, what an incentive to get my arse out of bed, shopping for new clothes!

BillComptonstrousers · 24/06/2011 12:45

Thats a bugger not qualifiying for SMP innocent Sad

QueenFee · 24/06/2011 14:10

Sorry miss red :(

Hello lots of newbies perhaps we should switch modes of transport train anyone bit more space .Grin

Bill my house is a tip I am so tired I don't feel like doing anything.

For those of you with no symptoms my last pg was like a dream no symptoms apart from an ever expanding waistline and swollen ankles towards the end. I went on to have a healthy 8lb 9 boy at 39 weeks.

6 weeks today! Due 17th

blissfull · 24/06/2011 14:57

Hi -Im new to mumsnet and would love to join this thread in expecting baby no 3 feb 20th got 2 dd ages 4 and 9 and am really looking forward to this pregnancy could someone add me on im really a bit of a novice on the computer! how do u add the smileys on? ! sorry about this !

TheWicketKeeperIsDown · 24/06/2011 15:12

How many of us is that due on the 20th now?! 8? 9?

Must have been crap telly that night Wink

InnocentRedhead · 24/06/2011 15:31

BCT bless him, mine has had to put up with a bit last night, i had terrible trapped wind, couldn't get comfortable etc. and i asked him to stay up with me (at around midnight - he had to be up at work for 5) then the vomiting started. I was a state and then couldn't sleep for my rockhard boobs getting in way TMI sorry - As you can tell i had a brilliant night last night. How did the cucmber work for you BCT?

And yeah it is a bugger, but luckily I won't be losing that much... SMP is paid at 90% of weekly earnings after 6 weeks but i think MA is paid at a constant rate I THINK.

Bit excited as got my free Bounty pack today and my Emma's Diary Free gift :D full of baby stuff:)

There is so many on the 20th, labour wards round the country are going to be weighed down!! Lol @ wicketkeeper!!!

Hey blissful... If you need help with the smilies - they are all at the bottom of the page for you to look at... Also, if you need any help with the acronyms - they are in a section at the top :)

phlossie · 24/06/2011 15:58

MA is a constant rate - I got it last time.

Your night sounds rubbish! I got in from babysitting at 11 and then shouted and cried at my DH because he'd watched a film instead of tidying house for HIS parents' stay this weekend. Grrrrrrrr. Hormones going at full pelt! It's a bit like having long, drawn out PMT while on a very long boat journey over choppy water. I haven't barfed yet, but the perfume section in House of Fraser nearly did it for me today!

Maltesers88 · 24/06/2011 16:12

lilyrose123 - I'm due on 21st Feb too!

TheWicketKeeperIsDown - I think it was the bank holiday weekend!

I'm 5+5 and am booked in to see GP in 2 weeks but no idea how I get my first scan appt - how does this work??

Also - what symptoms should I be having at 5+5??

InnocentRedhead · 24/06/2011 16:24

phlossie it was horrendous, but hey ho will be worth it :) And your description sums it up perfectly :)

maltesers88 symptoms vary person to person, i suppose the most common one at this stage (I'm 5+6 today so very close) is fatigue i would say, with nausea being next. Have you noticed a heightened sense of smell? Needing to wee a lot? Anything that is different to what you are like normally will probably be a symptom.

Also RE scans it is different in each PCT - mine was booked by myself. I booked my doctors and saw my midwife same day, then 3 days later I could book my scan. I booked it yesterday and received the confirmation through the post today. However i have seen it where your midwife refers you etc.

Stinkyminkymoo · 24/06/2011 16:32

Ooh! I've checked my dates, and I'm due on 6 February, but I don't think this is quite right... But we will wait and see eh?!

I'm seeing the MW on the 30th, but have been given loads of paperwork to do! Humph!

melliebobs · 24/06/2011 16:34

omg i just can't keep up with this thread! I go away for 2 seconds there's been that many posts the thread has dissapeared from my 'active' ones! So. How we all diddling?!
