Do you think this thread will be the last ante-natal one for the April 11 crew? Or will I be the last one standing and having to start a new thread and talking to myself?! Hmm

Well I'm in induction limbo. The prossan tab doesn't appear to be working. Next VE at 4. If the can't break my waters then they will leave me until tomorrow. If still nothing doing in the morning then I'll be off for a section. Sometime induction dosnt work! Trust me to be the 1 in 1000 that it happens too! Will update at 4.

Aw Lis your baby has just become comfy. Is your Bishop's score any higher?
Ok going to sound weird but see if you can spend the next hour privately with your DH reminding each other all the lovely times you've had together and how you are looking forwards to meeting your baby.

Are they encouraging you to walk around and stretch?

Well induction has ceased! The propass has been removed and they are leaving me over night. Will start fasting at midnight for CS tomorrow if I don't go myself before then. Ho hum!!

Well ladies today is my day!! I've just been "preped" for theatre. DH is on his way in. Dr will be round at 9.30 then after that we are go!

I'm having my baby today!!!

Good luck lis, although you probably have your lo in your arms already Smile

Good luck to all of those still here, I can imagine how frustrated you feel. The night before I went into labour I, 1. painted my toenails, 2. done a few deep squats with my heels on the ground before I went to bed. I have NO idea why I done it, but needless to say I found myself doing it a lot the next day!!!

Hi Ladies,

Due date today! No signs or niggles...so will definitely be going into extra time. Just trying to cat nap, and distract myself as much as possible from that all-consuming 'when will labour start' question...

LisMca- I am sure you have had your baby by now- many congratulations!

...And to all those of us who are still waiting, sending loads of oxytocin vibes our way!

Hello April Family Grin

Amelia (Millie) was born 11.45 on 23rd St Georges Day!
After a 27 hour labour by emergency c section. Won't go into full details but the memory will fade faster with the love we have for our little daughter so the end more than makes up for the means.

Congratulations to all the mummies who have had their babies I've just got home from hospital and this is my first contact with the outside world so forgive me xx

Blair thomas arrived at 12.09 today. 8lbs1oz. We are both knackered! Just had a little 15 feed before settling down for the night. Full story to follow.
