OK, well we've needed a new thread for ages so I've taken it upon myself to start it.

Good luck ladies - we are nearly down to the last month

35 + 2 or should I say "T minus 4wks 5 days"!

Your DH is a star. How lovely of him to treat you.

Ei, glad you had a good day. Still very that it's my fault your DH booked the wrong day off work.
(I managed to turn up for the meet 1 hour early too, don't trust anything I say! )

dramaqueen72 · 17/11/2005 19:42

dramaqueen72 · 17/11/2005 19:45

dont go encouraging dh george, he was quite good to do this, but 'star' is pushing it abit ......and hes already living off it....i have just run him a bath after cooking his dinner and hes now 'very tired'

and dd2 got a heap of blackmail (toys) while he was wondering about the shops, she may have small fingers but she has daddy firmly wrapped around them!!!

babygibbon · 17/11/2005 20:25

Congratulations flutter! Wow!

And it's great you all had such a good time at the meet-up. I'm about to go and check out the photos now but thought I'd post first (because its a double bill of Eastenders tonight so may get distracted!).

Saw midwife today, still breech, seeing consultant next Wed for scan and date for ECV (assuming baby doesn't turn).

Hope all is well for everyone. And all the best to flutter and family! I can't believe it's happening so soon, I'm no where near ready. I said I'd leave Christmas shopping, packing nursery bag and washing baby clothes until early december but I think I may have to revise that...

sweetheart · 17/11/2005 20:38

congrats flutter - it's so lovely to hear from you - I'm really pleased everything turned out so well for you!

Just wanted to pop on and say it was great to meet you all this afternoon - don't know what I was pnaicing about

I was really tired when I got home - too much excitement for one day I guess, how sad am I!!!

Anyway, such lovely ladies - hope to do it again soon, perhaps with the babies in tow and a few more Dec mummies

bonkerz · 17/11/2005 22:00

hi all,
Left Basingstoke at 5pm and didnt get back to Leicester till 8pm! Traffic backed up from Botley in Oxford to J10 on M40! One whole hour of stop start and as you can imagine im stiff and in pain! Just off for a bath to help relax a bit.
It really was great meeting you all today! Thanks Jaysfirst for letting DS eat your chips!! Really dont know where my boy puts all the food (nothing like his mum) I hope my DS didnt cause too much annoyance!!!!
Where are these dodgy photos then?
Nemo: Glad GTT was fine! What were we saying about idiot hospitals assuming size is a direct factor of gestational diabetes! IDIOTS!!!! Well we both proved them wrong didnt we
FLUTTER! CONGRATULATIONS on the birth of your boy! Well done babe and enjoy him! Am so .

bonkerz · 18/11/2005 08:46

Blooming typical, DH got up with DS and DSD this morning to take DS to school so i could lay in! HUH, Well i was up at 8.30 after laying in bed awake from 8am!!
Had a horrid dream last night and feel really low today! I dreamt i had Alex and the hospital just said OK GO HOME after an hour of her being born, noone came to see me and Alex wouldnt feed or anything. My own daughter hated me feel really tearful now and panicking about how i will cope with a baby girl!!

george32 · 18/11/2005 08:58

Doesn't sound like you are having much luck Bonkerz. I bet you were in agony by the time you got home.
Your DS is lovely, and you will be fine when Alex is born. Sounds like you have overdone it a bit, medicinal choccy & sofa for you today.

You reminded me that I dreamt I had the baby last night, weird, weird, dream. It must be the news that Flutter has had George has set us off.

DP was fascinated last night by the whole Mumsnet thing & me meeting up with you guys. I'm quite a private person usually so he finds it strange that I'm happy to tell people, who I don't even know the real names of, things that I haven't told close family & friends. I think he is just a bit as you know what he is getting for Christmas and he doesn't

bonkerz · 18/11/2005 09:04

LOL, maybe flutters news has set us all of.
I was in agony last night and had a nice bath but ended up needing lots of help to get out! Dh said any longer in the bath and the japenese whalers would have been round!! Charming!!!
Hate feeling like this! Need to find something to do to occupy myself! Right am going to get some paint for Bens room!!!!!!! So much for a lazy day!!!
Got midwife at 1.50pm so just hope she doesnt want me to go in!
Thanks George, will make sure i get lots of chocolate today!

MINNIE1 · 18/11/2005 09:46
