OK, well we've needed a new thread for ages so I've taken it upon myself to start it.

Good luck ladies - we are nearly down to the last month

35 + 2 or should I say "T minus 4wks 5 days"!

Nemo1977 · 08/11/2005 14:33

here

george32 · 08/11/2005 14:36

Oh that makes me feel so much better Nemo
See that is what I had in mind before I saw that other terrible photo.

ninah · 08/11/2005 14:42

God george just after lunch! NOO, you won't look like THAT!!!!!!

george32 · 08/11/2005 14:48

PMSL
Sorry Ninah - hope your lunch is OK!!

ninah · 08/11/2005 14:50

Oh yes, and now feel oddly smooth and pristine after seeing those poor women
er nemo, you need magnifying glass for yours!

babygibbon · 08/11/2005 15:19

Thanks for the lovely suggestions, I'm going for a haircut, followed by manicure and after DDs bedtime a naff film / lots of magazines and box of Thorntons, can't wait!

I have stretchmarks, they appeared later with DD, and were beginning to fade but are now back to red (although nowhere near as awful as that picture!!!) and worse than before. Funnily enough, DH commented much worse on one side (TBH I can't see them at the moment as they're hidden under my bump so they don't really bother me!)

DQ - your nursery sounds lovely, how much would you charge to do mine

Scully - don't let him get away with it. Why are men so thoughtless?

Jays - I get a similar problem to your hands but with my feet. When I first get up in the morning I find them very tender and hard to stand on and my balance is off, I think that's because of water retention too. It happened last time but went soon after the birth.

somewhere between 33 & 34 weeks...

dramaqueen72 · 08/11/2005 15:48

oh ouch ladies. my hips/pelvis is really hurting today and getting worse as the day goes on. I cant stand up!! and I walk like I'm 207........
babygibbon, oh if I could just decorate nurseries for a living, what a nice job! seriously tho, if anyone needs anything in a 'theme' but abit different tracking down, to make nursery alittle more original i could be your lady
flutter, mmmmm, you sound painful! poor you. but how nice all those people care caring about you, you and your bump are much thought of bless.

george, the lighting on that picture is quite scary I agree, but also agree with nemos description of tiger claw marks. I had one like that description def.! maybe not quite as drastic as that scary picture tho...........
tc, am also doing same thing, not quite throwing up but think there is nowhere for food to go anymore so it just sits right at the top ready fro me to do anything stupid like lean forward before it reappears. mmmmmmm, nice!
am going to take lots of nursery pics to stick in babys album. so jay please tell me again how/where/when to put photos up...........

nemo -a date! wow! thats quite surreal isnt it/ what will you be doing again (pg brain equals mush...) a c-section or drip/pessary induction? and not another poss breech???????? gosh our babies are lazy on this thread! turn round you little gremilins!!
what about yours george? turned do you think?

I hurt so much I think I need some paracetamol now. ow. how many days til christmas now? sigh.

dramaqueen72 · 08/11/2005 15:49

yes Xmas Day will be interesting I need to try and make sure I can be online over Xmas!

ThomCat · 08/11/2005 16:54

DQ - about those hips, mine get like this. Best thing to do, when you stand, point toes in. When lying down keep legs up at same lavel as rest of body, so put a spare pillow at end of bed and sleep as much as poss with feet on that, same when you lie on sofa, Also get on hands and knees, tuck tail bone in so don't strain back and just rotae those hips round and round.

Also have nive warm bath and eat chocolate

It's the boredom, at least this time next week I'll have my hands full with house work and school runs

OP posts:
george32 · 08/11/2005 17:37

SH, I don't have time to be bored since leaving work. There is just so much to do all the time. Did manage to drop off for a hour or so earlier though.

Ooh Babygibbon you are going to have a lovely day on Thursday.

DQ, I think my little one is still turning about. It seemed to be head down for a couple of days but now I'm back to having big solid lumps under my ribs on both sides - maybe it's a breeze block rather than a baby? Is your appointment tomorrow?

Well it's my 2nd NCT meeting tonight so time to learn more about scary baby things!!
No being in denial once these are finished with!

Jaysfirst · 08/11/2005 18:51
