oh yukana im worried about about you but i cant offer much advice as i dont really know how the system works (council and housing associations) you talk of your own mental health, are you on any medication or seeing anyone for counselling? you really need to get your own space im sure this would help you and your mum mental health and then you could start looking forward to the birth, have you spoken to your midwife and let her know your problems, then she can also help you after the baby is born as the lack of sleep and hormonal roller coaster is hard to deal with at the best of times(im always on a hormonal rollercoaster!)? dont be afraid to make an appointment that is thier job and would like to help you im sure. hope i dont sound patronising just want to get you sorted hun x

KLou111 · 25/04/2011 08:03

Not to sound rude Yukana but are you British? As they are really clamping down at the moment on 'aliens' in the country claiming from British benefits if you have not paid into the system, and also using the NHS. I personally have never claimed, nor my family or DH's family, so not really sure how it all works. Just a thought :)

Yukana · 25/04/2011 10:22

We're going to visit CAB and I'll be seeing my doctor and midwife soon. I also have my first appointment with the physiotherapist on Wednesday. I'll try speaking up again and see if it gets me anywhere.

Yes we are British. :) And didn't sound rude at all, so don't worry.

CappuccinoCarrie · 25/04/2011 11:45

Sounds like you're looking in the right places for help yukana, really hope you get some progress soon.

I'm going to try and upload my 22wk bump photo. I'm 23+4 now but haven't taken any more recent pics. I think I've lost weight in myself as my biscuit/cake/chocolate threshold has gone down, so despite the rather large bump I've only had a net gain of 5lb so far.

KLou111 · 25/04/2011 17:05

Another one with a bump, PAH! :-p

impatient1 · 25/04/2011 17:42

neverlookback I have just returned from camping with a 9yo, 5yo, 2.5yo, and also 25 weeks pg, and it was fantastic. My 2.5 yo, Zara, slept better than ever because of the fresh air. Go forit xx

SelinaDoula · 25/04/2011 19:58

Back from a longweekend in Wales. Will uload a bump pic, am 27 weeks on thursday and I think I am pretty big now (finally outgrowing the boobs!)
Am knackered from lots of driving and sharing a bed with DD.
Neverlookback I have camped with DD ad taken her to festivals since she was 6 weeks old. Got one planned when this baby is 3 weeks (hopefully).
Had cramp in my calf last night. Ow!

emmanumber3 · 25/04/2011 21:33

Team pink here!

Quite a surprise after two boys (age 13 & 10).
Due 21/8/2011.

Firawla · 25/04/2011 23:01

Congrats emma#3 that's lovely!

impatient1 · 26/04/2011 07:33

selinadoula where in wales were you? We camped on Shell Island, near Harlech. Its a lovely place, we go a few times a year.

SelinaDoula · 26/04/2011 08:36

impatient1 We are doing up a boat in a boat yard near Aberystwth at the mo but I know Shell Island, we had our boat moored opposite it for a while!

RugbyWidow7 · 26/04/2011 14:18

Just checking in as we're just back from our hols and feel like I've been away from you guys for ages! feeling so much better than when we went, and nicely relaxed, with a peeling tan ;-). Trying to catch-up on all the messages and still going.

Yukana - I'm really sorry to hear of all your troubles. I haven't been all the way back yet, but I'm sorry I know nothing about this area of the system. I hope things calm down for you soon though and help you feel more settled.

Klou - you're funny! Hope your bump is making good progress ;-) I thought mine was quite impressive now, but friend told me this morning that you wouldn't know I was preggers unless you know me! Huh. ;-( Getting so many comments on my boobs though, which isn't the area I'm looking for complements on!!! Oh well, I guess it's good on the stretch mark front - so far...

Emmanumber3 congrats on your first girl! How exciting, you get to redecorate and buy pretty new clothes. We decided on team yellow/green in the end.

KLou111 · 26/04/2011 15:13

Well, I have been told for the last 2 days by DH that I am at last starting to 'look pregnant' and TBH I feel huge! Particularly today, just been into town and caught a reflection in shop window and my belly looked so round!! I had to look again! Feel a bit happier now, although as it's the biggest I have ever been I feel unhealthy at the same time despite me being pregnant not fat if that makes sense Hmm. Starting to get a stitch very easily in belly now too which is bloody irritating and hurts especially yesterday when I had 2 at the same time!

Glad you have all had some great hols. The weather has been gorgeous hasn't it?? Bit overcast here in South West Wales today, but still very warm.

Emma congrats on team pink, bet you're over the moon :)

wishwales · 26/04/2011 21:07

I am still in hospital because of my funneling cervix and was told today that it has worsened. I now have to stay here on strict bed rest until she is born. We will be 26 weeks on Friday and I am hoping that she continues to hang on in there! Prayers, please...

alibaba76 · 26/04/2011 21:08

Consider it done wishwales
