Puss and angels Anna is the champion of that - oh look how lovely and "content" I am in public and then turns into the biggest diva at home - give me my bottle NOOOOOOW!!!

Puss I talked to dd1 quite a lot, not as much to dd2 and now am so grateful of the quiet when the other two are at school/playgroup that I don't talk to A as much Blush either. Although we do have a lot more snuggles - with dd1 she liked to sleep a lot on her own in her cot (I know, I know not really complaining), dd2 didn't like to sleep/cuddle do much of anything, although now she is the cuddliest 3 year old ever but A and I like to have a bit of a snuggle - watch Glee, Brothers & Sisters - educational type programmes Grin

Pussinflatboots · 19/04/2011 21:33

wiggles Funny that, DD loves Glee too! It teaches her a lot, and encourages her musical development. Was going to namechange to KeDollarSignHa after last week's episode Grin.
We do have lots of snuggles, but it's all v quiet (minus the screaming!).

ledkr · 19/04/2011 21:37

hi all,at it again, done the agadoo and macerana,Els won a competition and said it was the best day of her life haha she won a lolly and a certificate.I was one number off the bingo grrr.
Jane it sounds like its all happening for you and again its great that you have that nice lady to marry you,id rather hear about your wedding than bloody Kate and Wills.
Am secretly pleased that im not the onl;y one with pil issues-sorry-i sometimes think it will be better to get divorced than have them breathing down my neck all the time.Dh left his camera there so that will be another excuse to visit soon, she tried to come here so much it was untrue even offered to bring our pram in her car,we were a bit firmer,dh saw my face when she was packing sandwhiches for lunch before they followed us here, made us sodding late so had a rush on to make beds etc before we hit the bar.She suggested we take dd camping with them, yeah right with a baby!
I didnt find the dream feed any help tbh but some swear by it.Been nodding off all day its hell.
I have also been fretting about my fat body today felt so much better when dh offerred to buy me an excercise bike grrrrrrr I told him i would sooner have some sleep and thus energy to attend the gym i pay for.Pleas tell me you are all fat,my belly is just a blubbering mass even my back looks fat.
Angels pinkie is ok just busy with refluxy baby.
Wiggles that sounds tricky,i reckon ill have that problem, they are all so clicky,in and out of each others lives all the time all hugs and kisses,i told them i had a cold then remembered id said that last time Blush
I would stay at home with Z,poor Delilah was passed around like a bloody parcell for 2 days, and then they had the cheek to remark how little she slept or got put down, she kept looking at me longingly i felt terrible, will not be happening again.
Sorry for mammoth post but the show is crap and dh is watching footy whilst Ella is addicted to the 2p machines.

WanderingSheep · 19/04/2011 21:48

Hi! Smile

Jane glad that you've had a better day today! Sounds like your wedding plans are coming along - I'm so pleased for you! Smile

tarlia wow that your DS has rolled already! Grin DD1 didn't roll until about 5 months!

Well, my angel is 8 weeks old today! It's going so quickly. Is anyone else sad that their babies have lost that scrunchy newborn look? DD2 no longer tucks her legs in when I pick her up and I really noticed the other day as a lady across the road has a baby 4 weeks younger and she's still all curled up whereas my baby has really straightened out! Sad

I started doing dream feeds and it was going ok but the other night she woke up and projectile vomited so I have decided to leave her tonight.

Btw, I saw Dreya on a baby name thread but I was unable to post. She had her little girl called Giselle (sp?).

WanderingSheep · 19/04/2011 22:01

Yup, Ledkr I feel huge! I have about a stone to lose. All my pre-pg clothes fit but they feel tighter (I tend to wear things a bit baggy). It's weird because people keep saying, "ooh, haven't you sprung back into shape!" um, no! I'm a stone heavier than I was pre pregnancy and I have back fat! Angry it's making me really cross as with DD1 it just dropped off, I have a feeling that I'm going to have to work at it this time!

debka · 20/04/2011 07:41

Morning all!!

Good news to start- S woke at 3 for a feed AND WENT BACK TO SLEEP UNTIL 6.30!!!!!! I knew you'd all be Shock and Grin for me!! Unfortunately I didn't get back to sleep so easy, ended up on the sofa- who was it who wandered round the house with her pillow whilst pg?? Was it you wandering?

ledkr I have gained weight I'm sure, tried a shirt on in a size which would normally be 2 sizes too big and it was TOO SMALL. I blame soupdragon, whoever she is, I found her flapjack recipe on the food board and I've been making it about twice a week and eating it ALL myself!

Your pils are the pits ledkr, I have to see mine at the weekend, they're no walk in the park (ruined my wedding day) but WAAAAY better than yours. Sympathies.

S looks nothing like a newborn now, she holds her head up really well and tries to sit up too. She rolled front to back at 4 weeks [preen] but nothing since then! Her sister did the same thing then didn't do it again till about 6 months!

puss good to hear from you again, hope you can keep up :) you did well to find us, still on the ante natal board two months on!! S gets way more interaction from her 2yo sister than she does from me, she has to share her baby gym although I've drawn th line at the moses basket and bouncy chair! God knows what will happen when I get her door bouncer out...!!!

janedoe25 · 20/04/2011 07:42

ledkr iam a fatty! Im on a mission though with the wedding comming up and i want to reduce all the risks if i become pg again. I am in all my pre preg clothes too but they are all size 18 Blush

Pussinflatboots · 20/04/2011 08:05

hi debka

Wishing us all loads of luck with upcoming time with ILs. Mine are far from awful and mean well (apart from fil) but are frickin hard work. Mil and sil don't really have any friends, mil treats dh as if he were her dh and sil has some special needs. They are so lovely to me but just can't be shagged with it on no sleep!

The dreamfeed didn't work... She took 50ml (awake), then up at 230, 440 and 630. Napping now - on my chest (rod for own back and all that!).

ILovePonyo · 20/04/2011 16:38

Ooh puss you're not going to like my dd's sleep news from last night then - 9.30pm til 8 this morning! Shock :) A few grunts and squeaks but nothing I couldn't ignore and sleep though Grin

Well I got some shit news today - I am being made redundant from my job Sad Angry This won't be til I'm due to go back in Nov (thank god) but means I've got months to stress about finding a new one etc etc. At least dp's job is secure atm and we can hopefully manage on his wage.

I deffo need to lose weight and tone up, really can't be arsed but with summer on the way I need to do something. Am not a gym or diet type person though so don't know what...

Bensmum76 · 20/04/2011 17:52

We had a good night with Noah last night too, he had dream feed at 11 then stirred at 6.45am! I got him into bed with me and dh and he slept until 7.30 then fed at 8! I daren't think this is going to be the start of something good as he has gone til 6 a few times then the next night he's woken for a feed at 3am! Just never know what were gonna get!
Pony, thats bad news about your job, not the news you need while on mat leave!

janedoe25 · 20/04/2011 18:10

ponyo sorry to hear about your job, try not to stress too much im sure you will sort something out. Oh and Grin at last nights sleep, long may it continue!

ledkr · 20/04/2011 19:30

D was worse last night, woke at 4.30 despite having 3 bottles between 7 and 10pm,she only settled back for under an hr so i was well annoyed.im just hoping its due to the change in her routine, its hard to keep her quiet in a caravan, didnt want Ella up too early.
Had alovely hot day today and went to the beach,D was initially a p in arse but settled later and slept whilst i read my sad rag.
Ponyo bad news re the job, thank god you will still get your leave tho.I was hoping id get a move whilst im off,i work in adoption but prefer child protection.
Will be hitting the gym after easter and ww online too, final straw was that i was too embarrassed to get my bikini on and sat on the beach clothed like a fat bird

Pussinflatboots · 20/04/2011 20:57

ponyo and bensmum WHAT?! that sleep news is NOT what I want to hear ;0 DD had first baby massage at 7pm, so hope it has knocked her out for the night...

ponyo bad news re work. So much of it (cuts, rather than work I mean) at the moment. Have a Wine for now.

I need to shift baby weight too. February fatfighters?!

slowangels1 · 20/04/2011 21:16

can't stay long as got terrible tum ache - alice has been a little nightmare all day and think it's set off an IBS attack Confused - is it the weather do you think? anyone elses little one gone a bit mental in this heat?

Just wanted to point those of you with baby weight to the feb weight loss thread I set up as so many of us are trying to lose weight. It's been a bit quiet this past week though Hmm . We started with weigh in wed last week but I'm too scared to do it this week as don't think the news is good www.mumsnet.com/Talk/big_slim_whatever_weight_loss_club/1189274-feb-fat-fighters-new-weight-loss-thread/AllOnOnePage#24851152

sorry, will do proper post tomorrow

OP posts:
ILovePonyo · 20/04/2011 21:20

Thanks all, its rubbish but could be worse deffo.

puss dp has bought some wine for tonight so I am having a Wine very soon Grin Good luck for the sleep tonight!! Oh and angels (i think it was angels) has started a feb fat thread, there is a link on here somewhere, I've been a bit rubbish at keeing up to date with it.

ledkr you're a SW? Interesting that most SW I know want to move AWAY from CP to adoption - I was/am tenancy support worker and we had a lot of SW students in our team, they all seemed to want to go into adoption not CP, I always thought good luck with that Hmm Hope d has a nice big sleep tonight.

jane I think I'm lucky that I'm not finding it too stressful (fingers crossed eh) b'cos I know I've got til nov to sort something out. I'll find out a bit more in May.

bensmum babies sleep is so wierd isn't it, we put dd down earlier than usual last night and she slept longer Confused My mum and other people have been telling me for weeks I should be keeping her awake in the day, putting her to bed later, just goes to show babies do what they like really!

Heres hoping for sleepy babies tonight! Will toast them with my Wine Wink

ILovePonyo · 20/04/2011 21:22

Oh no angels hope you feel better tomorrow.

I need to catch up with fat thread, might weigh myself tomo.

Bensmum76 · 21/04/2011 05:00

Well, here I am again feeding Noah in the early hours, these babies are so random!

WanderingSheep · 21/04/2011 05:12

I'm here too bensmum Smile. Although to be fair DD hasn't fed since 6. I tried to feed her at 10.30 but she didn't want it. So I can't really blame her for being up this early!

ponyo I'm so sorry to read about your job Sad. Glad you're staying positive and I'm sure you'll get something sorted by nov.

Bensmum76 · 21/04/2011 08:17

Wandering, how nice to know someone else was up at 5 too! He ended up in bed with me and dh as wouldn't settle in his cot and is just waking up now! I feel so tired as if I have jet lag, I would pay a million pounds for one night of undisturbed sleep!

slowangels1 · 21/04/2011 08:57

a million pounds?

ponyo :( about the job

ledkr thanks for the pinkie update

hot hot day again today. Hope everyone enjoys the long weekend. DH always works bank holidays so just a regular week end for me Hmm although I admit to being secretly looking forward to sitting on the sofa with DD all day next friday to watch the royal wedding Grin . Not a bit royalista but love a good wedding Wink - jane - I hope yours will be televised on BBC as well so that we can all watch Grin Wink

Bensmum76 · 21/04/2011 09:42

Just let me know the arrangements Angels and I'll transfer the funds, or maybe ill just bribe my dh to take both bots for the night!
Jane, sorry you've had a bad week, must be hard having to get back to 'normal' when you're still grieving. I really do think your so brave and are doing really well to be at work at all
Friends of ours are having a street party for the royal wedding and Im so excited! Have good memories of the Charles and Diana street party from when I was a kid, it was brill!
What are everyone else's plans?

WanderingSheep · 21/04/2011 09:52

Hope you all enjoy the sunshine today!

Jane hope you have a good day today and as much of a rest as you can over the weekend. I imagine that there are really bad days and then better days Sad. It's still such early days and you have been amazing!

Bensmum Charlotte settled again no problem but then was up again at 6.30! Grr! And DD1 was up demanding breakfast! Why don't children do lie ins?! Hmm

Angels hope you're feeling better today!

DH is off next week - at long bloody last! Although I had words with him for having the time off when DD1 is back at school Hmm it's when she's off that I need the help!!!! Oh well, he can help me with the school run, I guess.

It's another gorgeous day although I'm Envy of you southerners as it's warmer down there! This time last year we were living in London for a few months and it was so hot!

40Weeks · 21/04/2011 11:03

Hello everyone

Still here I am glad to see on the AN thread.

Don't get me started with the back fat. Sorry angels I haven't been on the weight loss thread you set up, I have to get back on track. Been a bad week and off to the coast for the bank hols so can imagine that could be tricky!

Sorry to hear about your job ponyo that sucks. Hope things work out for you for the best.

Haven't had a chance to catch up properly, but have to go back now and see what ledkrs PILS are up to....

Also looking forward to the royal wedding (and yours of course Jane) as I can't wait to see the dress. I even have a royal wedding mug....

hubbard86 · 21/04/2011 14:35

don't know what it is with freya and this heat she is so cranky. I've taken her harness off so it gives her a bit of a break as its nylon polyester and velcro it makes her hotter. She just won't be put down either it's driving me mad even in her pram she's cranky. Got a ds who wants to play all the time and a house that needs a good clean. Oh and my moms dog was put down this morning to add to my bad mood. Not having a very good day!
