WHOOOOOOP! The glorious birfing of the ChoChildSan is what I was on about when I cryptically urged peeps to check out FB! ( Cho, would never announce for someone else; I subtly nudged people over there before I asploded, that's all!). She really is an absolute smasher, tis' true.

I love how you've always been such a cynical beyotch and now you're the soppiest FESH around Grin Love it love love it! Hope your sun roof is recovering v well and send even bigger smooches than usual to little FamilyCho

Orchid, glad your scan went well, even if your little flower was coy about their, well, little flower Wink

Cass, well done on your exams :)

Rocket, have had internal grapes of wrath before pg and they cleared up on their own, but dunno if these things are different in pg. If you've been enjoying cooked shellfish, I wouldn't worry too much. I ain't given up soft goat's cheese but have just ensured that what I do eat is pasteurised. No fucker better try to take Scorp's goat's cheese away from her

Ariesgirl · 10/02/2011 22:05

Hurrah! Ace news, Daniel-san. So the sticky jizz got you your prize! Congratulations.

Scorpette · 10/02/2011 22:22

PS Meant to say that your birthing unit sounds AMAZE, Muse. Do they do bookings for weekends away? Sounds better than some hotels I've been in!

Muser · 10/02/2011 22:36

I wonder if gin is laying. I hope so.

ginhag · 11/02/2011 07:30

Congrats cho she's proper lovely xxx

Well, no laying. In fact things have got quieter and quieter over the past 24 hrs.

So that's me out of time. Should already be at hosp but waiting for captain speedy to get himself out of the shower.

Excited bout meeting my boy, but a little gutted as this wasn't really want I wanted (I know there's a lot of positive pesh stuff re electives. It's just that I really wanted a bash at the other option after the way things panned out for me after the birth last time.)

Still, onwards and upwards...or some other lame piece of random cheeriness :)

Luffs

Laterz biatches.

laurielou · 11/02/2011 08:13

Cho BIG CONGRATS on ChoChildSan. She is just gorgeous. You sound quite happy too Grin. Its all good. Lovely.

Gin Sorry you aren't getting the birth that you planned / wanted. But soon, oh so very soon, you'll be meeting your little one - eek! Lots of good vibes coming your way. I'll be thinking of you all day, x

Ah, are we allowed a bit of soppiness in the Deli? Feel a tad mushy today.

AlpinePony · 11/02/2011 08:18

gin You can have the sechs again in ~2-3 weeks - try again for a VBAC? Wink

HighPriestessBoo · 11/02/2011 08:32

Gin Loads of luck for today :)

Congratulations to Cho :)

Muser · 11/02/2011 08:33

Aw gin, I'm sorry things aren't going quite the way you hoped. But once you're snuggling the baby you won't care anymore. I'm so excited for you. We've come a long way from wibbling over scans to meeting the results!

CluckyKate · 11/02/2011 08:39

So that's where you've been Cho - revelling in the wonderment of motherhood. Lovely to hear you're so very happy with your little bundle.

Good luck GinnyGin...exciting day for you Grin. Were all men born with a faffing gene??? That is exactly the kind of thing I'd expect from MrCluck...

Hooray for excellent scan Orcs. You're halfway to finding out what you're having and, at this rate, you'll be birthing before me Hmm

Nuffink goin' on 'ere. Foot lady is coming again later - everything is ready to go, just need to get to ball rolling then I'll be off. MW appointment tomorrow to discuss induction date Confused

LadyGoneGaga · 11/02/2011 08:40

Morning Haglets,

Congrats on baby, Cho - lovely news! Hope you are recovering well xxx

Very excited about getting some Gin news soon I hope too.

Lots of chat yesterday that I missed Sad. But back in office today so shall be slacking catching up later!

milanomum · 11/02/2011 08:43

Cho Congratulations! chochild sounds beautiful! you sound totally elated Grin

Gin good luck today. I know it's not what you had planned but it'll mean meeting your little boy today and that's GOOD! yey!

muse that centre sounds fantastic. I had a cheap version of the swedish chair. It was a plastic horseshoe-shaped stool (cheap-arses).

cass sounds like you have a lot on! Well done on the exams.

rocketleaf · 11/02/2011 09:01

loads of luck for today ginny so glad one PESHbaby is getting this funky date :o

And to you too clucky hope foot lady gets things moving along.

Picking my friend up late from her 38 week MW appointment. She's been having LOADS of BHs and thought she was going into slow labour but they've buggered off again. Excitng! We are supposed to be going swimming but I hope she cant be arsed as I'd bring her back here to drink tea and bake cake :o

Muser · 11/02/2011 09:02

All the laying is making me teary, more so than usual I guess because it's my little group of graduates. This is definitely a fluffy day in the Deli. I'm just so bloody happy for everyone.

ginhag · 11/02/2011 09:03

Grin alps. yes please to the sechs but no more making of small people thank you very much :)

Can't believe I'm going to have a baby today! Gibber gibber...

4 elcs booked in,one of which is twins, plus whatever emergencies come up...they haven't given us the running order yet so who knows when it'll be

rocketleaf · 11/02/2011 09:07

Oh good lord, thats a bit of a head fuck!! So lgad you can gibber here via phone tho gin pls keep us posted, everything crossed for you, my love

Ariesgirl · 11/02/2011 09:21

I'd say that was just cause for gibbering

Good luck flower.

PollyPoo · 11/02/2011 09:23

Gin my luvver, good luck for today. I'm sorry it isn't the birth you planned (is any of us EVER get to get the birth we plan?!) but I'm so excited for you, you will soon be snuffling your gorgeous new baby! I feel rather emotional. Grin

I am filling out forms for degree application. Scary shit.

Medee · 11/02/2011 09:35

Is Gin the first of the MSDPers to get laying? Very exciting!

Casserole · 11/02/2011 09:40

Keeping everything crossed that you're not waiting too long Gin. Hoping that the fact your waters have already gone puts you ahead of others just booked in on that date for lesser reasons. The waiting must be so weird.

Polly interesting! What degree?

laurielou · 11/02/2011 09:41

Orcs Forgot to say lovely news on the scan. Seems like baybee is either already siding with dad, or a shy little flower.

Gin I know you say you're wibbering, but I think you sound remarkably calm. I'm so, so excited - we're having a PESHbaby Grin

Muse I'm still a way off from my cluster-laying gang, but feel all slushy today. I can only imagine how you feel.

Poll Degree application! Holy fuck, how many hours do you have in your day

Lets all have a Wine. Maybe two.........

PollyPoo · 11/02/2011 09:50

Cass tis acupuncture. I have fully accepted the woo into my life. Grin I've been looking to retrain for years as never felt I was 'proper' bean counter, kind of fell into it as good with numbers (apparently) but never really enjoyed it iyswim.

Lozzer that is exactly why I'm wondering wtf I'm doing! Mind you, it starts in Sept when BB will be over 8 months old and is 2 full days a week (unfortunately will involve a night away from home as is 200+ mile round trip - closest place running course is Reading FFS*). Must be bloody mad... but this way, by the time BB starts school I will be qualified. Or that is the plan anyway. TG is going to look after the children by himself (ha! then he will know what it is like!) and get them to CM/school.

*Anyone up Reading way who wants to rent me a room for a night a week? Or if not, recommend a cheap travel lodge/B&B?!

Ooops, gotta go. time for physio - spd almost gone but not quite.

Bitchslaps and pints of snakebite for all.

owlbooty · 11/02/2011 09:51

Hoorah for MiniCho ! And more excited bouncing for impending MiniGin - obv. this will make more gaps here in the Deli, BESHes, get on it!

Muse Your MLU sounds utterly fab. I've asked if I can go to the MLU in our local but it only has 3 rooms as far as I can see and being due in August I reckon I am going to end up getting royally shafted and end up on delivery suite where I know the rooms don't even have windows. Gah. Am now seriously considering home sneeze as am crap around medical people.

Small NHSrant: They've cut the antenatal classes down in my area to one session which is apparently almost impossible to get on, and don't do tours of the hospital - and don't even have the MLU on their video tour. Is it just me or is this completely shit?

Orcs scan sounds lovely even if BabyOrcs was being a bad-ass. Bet it's a boy Grin

rocketleaf · 11/02/2011 09:58

Ohh very exciting polly what a wonderful thing to retrain in. Embrace the woo. Glad the SPD is almost gone.

My friend IS in slow labour, contractions every 15 mins. I am not sure I can take the combined excitement in here AND irl!! I am going to take her to the MW in a bit. Is it selfish of me to hope this is it because I am due to be away for the week after her due date (18th) and I want to be around when the baby comes? Eeep.

Ivegotmrbitey · 11/02/2011 09:58

Mmmm yes Wine Wine Wine

Congratulations on your beautiful little daughter cho! Hope you are enjoying lots and lots of new born snuggles?

Such exciting news gin! It's your baybee's birthday! Hope all is fabulous and you don't wait too long. Hopefully MrGin has got the champagne chilling!

Lovely scan news too ourkid, I am strangely heartened by tiny babies defying medical science and keeping their hands on the ha'pennies so to speak!

muser that birthing centre sounds fab! Am intrigues by Swedish birthing chair and German sex xhair. Is it similar to the Japanese sex pillow?

What a day, and it's only just begun!
