Hi Lanky, I'm on the Feb bus too and can't keep up with it - so many people! How fantastic that you got your BFP without having to go down the IVF route, hope the next few months go smoothly for you Smile

HH, lovely name for your little girl, hope you're all settling down together ok now!

LankyLegs · 13/07/2011 21:53

Thanks all lovely to actually join you here - never thought I would make it to be honest!

cave have been lurking on the conception board and and was pleAd to hear the positive news about no blocked tubes. Am wishing you all the luck with the closed and looking forward to seeing you here soon.

halo hope lovely Hannah is doing well xxx

late I am giving up on the Feb thread as it seems crazy trying to keep up with 70 odd people. Can't keep up! Hope things are going well for you and not feeling too sick. I have been really nauseas but no vommiting thank god! Just started a new job 4 weeks ago and am not coping great with feeling so sick all the time!

LankyLegs · 13/07/2011 21:55

Sorry for rubbish spelling am posting on the phone.. cave I meant good luck with the clomid not closed!!

bunnygirl80 · 13/07/2011 23:23

lanky congrats. You must be so happy after trying for so long.

highheelsandequations · 14/07/2011 09:58

congrats and welcome lanky

Rose seems to be doing well at home, she's getting weighed tomorrow so fingers crossed she's gained weight. Will try and put photo on profile now.

highheelsandequations · 14/07/2011 10:08

Pics now on profile

LankyLegs · 14/07/2011 15:44

Thanks HH

Just had a sneak at your pictures and Rose looks gorgeous! And you look great for someone that just gace birth and left the hospital! Please she is doing well too. Bless her.

LankyLegs · 14/07/2011 15:45

Ooh and I forgot to thank Bunny too... and yes totally over the moon after trying for so long. Still can't quite believe it though....

goldmaple · 14/07/2011 16:34

lanky you have inspired me to re-join as well (if you all will have me:) ) I was a frolicker but gave up on the conception boards after months of TTC and getting obsessive.

I still follow this thread though and I remember when highheels and halflo got your BFPs on the conception board... and now you are mums!! So exciting! Its reassurring to see so many first timers doing so well!

I'm 23+2 today, EDD Nov 9th

ToriaPumpkinPasty · 14/07/2011 17:26

OMG Welcome to the mad side Lanky and Goldmaple! Brilliant to see you both here Grin

Beautiful name HH and she's beautiful! Glad you're home (again) and fingers crossed she's got feeding sussed now :)

Not really any news from me, still progressing as normally as it goes. Back bad atm but sitting down eating chocolate buttons seems to be helping that Grin had my first proper snottery tear filled ranting the other night. Unfortunately OH is away in bloody Switzerland atm so he missed it!

LankyLegs · 14/07/2011 17:27

Gold lovely to see you here! I do remember you from the conception threads. Nice to get some 'old faces' here! Wow 23 weeks - hope it's all going well. Look forward to hearing more about it!

CrazyAlien06 · 14/07/2011 18:17

highheels she is totally gorgeous :D

haloflo · 15/07/2011 15:41

Aww she is beautiful. Congratulations again HH.

Hannah and I are doing well thanks lanky. She is 15 weeks now and huge for her age. She doesn't sleep but is very cute so I forgive her. Feb/March is a great time to have a baby. Long glorious summer of maternity leave. Grin

LankyLegs · 19/07/2011 13:50

Wow 15 weeks already halo can't believe how quickly it all goes - I remember whe you got your bfp last year!

I am in agreement - looking forward to having the whole of next summer off and stolling around with a baby (fingers crossed)....

How is everyone else? Very quiet in here!!

I am 11+1 today and looking forward to midwife appt and scan next week and getting it all confirmed. Nausea is dying down a bit thank god as my new job is now ramping up too.

Late how you getting on?

Gold you still lurking?! Hope things are well.

How is everyone else?

ToriaPumpkinPasty · 19/07/2011 19:41

Hi Lanky glad to hear your nausea is dying down a bit!

Not much to report up here, my back is killing me so I'm taking it easy tonight instead of going to aqua natal then tomorrow I'm off to the cinema with my manager for her 13 year old daughter's birthday trip to eat Pizza and watch Harry Potter! [griin]

LateToThisBabyMalarky · 19/07/2011 21:12

Hello all, I'm in need of a bit of calm rationality from people who know better than me - have had a bit of spotting today, nothing spectacular just a bit on my pants and a bit when I wipe... It's nothing, right? All perfectly normal? I have no pain, and it's light coloured - I'm 9+4. Is this something I need to get checked out, or should I just see if it gets worse tomorrow? Confused

Good to hear your nausea is easing off Lanky, I feel very lucky to have got away without having any of that Smile

pixiestix · 19/07/2011 22:43

Hi Late, dont panic, it's probably just old blood from when your baby implanted. Absolutely loads and loads of us had the same thing, including me. I know its not much reassurance - when it happened to me I sat in the toilets at work and howled the place down - but truly, the chances are it will be fine. Whereabouts in the country are you? If you are in London the early pregnancy unit by the NFT is brilliant and will see you really quickly to put your mind at rest.

Hi to everyone else!

LateToThisBabyMalarky · 20/07/2011 07:27

Thanks so much pixiestix, I wasn't feeling too worried about it, then started worrying that I might not be taking it seriously enough! Your post, along with stuff I read on other threads, has reassured me Smile
I'll give my midwife a ring today and get her opinion, but it sounds like she'll say much the same thing. I'm in west London & work in the City, so plenty of facilities around if I need them fortunately. Thanks again Grin

LankyLegs · 20/07/2011 08:12

late was just going to reiterate what pixie said. Pleased you are feeling calmer about it too. It's not plain sailing this pregnancy malarky and dont think I have stressed so much before. Hope the spotting has disappeared today.

Will be back later for catch up.

ToriaPumpkinPasty · 20/07/2011 11:09

Late you've already been given good advice and it sounds as if you've calmed down, I had four such incidences in the first twelve weeks and my MW wasn't bothered in the slightest. She said if I had any pain or the bleeding became heavy then to go into the EPU but other than that it was probably from overdoing it or things settling in. Hope it's passed now and you can go back to worrying about everything else Wink

LateToThisBabyMalarky · 20/07/2011 17:59

Thanks ladies! Still spotting today - about the same as yesterday. The midwife was very relaxed about it, said it was the placenta 'bedding in' so to view it as a good thing Smile. The fact that she didn't haul me in for an early scan made me feel a lot better, and I'm out tonight for a (non-alcoholic) beverage with the girls, none of whom know I'm up the duff so it will be a good change of scenery Grin

It's so great that when you have a little (or big) worry, you can post somewhere like this and get so much info & support. What a lovely thread! Grin

LateToThisBabyMalarky · 20/07/2011 18:00

sorry, started to get a bit teary and emotional there! (one of the only pg symptoms I'm experiencing!)

LankyLegs · 20/07/2011 18:20

late pleased the midwife is feeling relaxed about it - it definitely helps with ones anxiety!
Try and have fun this evening and hope you don't fret top much. Spotting is so normal in the first trimester and I have also heard you can get it around the same time your period is due. Enjoy your evening.

toria hope your back is better. Mine seems to be suffering somewhat recently but will ask the midwife on Monday about it. Doesn't help I am carting around laptop and crap loads of paperwork either. Are you finishing up work soon? You sound terribly organised with your nursery too! Am very envious!!!

I can't believe how much you can actually worry once pregnant. I thought TTC was bad enough but clearly I didn't know the half of it! Have spent the last 8 weeks worrying my head off about everything and turning into a slight hypercondriach (sp) about it. When do you actually start enjoying it? Am hoping the scan will help!

ToriaPumpkinPasty · 20/07/2011 19:29

I'm finishing work in five weeks lanky I'll be 31 and a bit weeks but the shop is closing then, so rather than taking maternity leave I'm being made redundant but not going to complain as I'm fed up of work already!

Hate to tell you this, but the worrying never stops. For the first twelve weeks you worry about miscarriage, after the scan you worry about not being able to feel movements yet, when you can feel movements you worry when they stop! I'm hoping it'll start to calm down when I've actually got my baby but I fear I may be kidding myself Grin

I do enjoy most days though. When I've time to sit down and rest my back and Pumpkin moves a lot then I love being pregnant, I'd just like for the worrying and painful days to be fewer. Worth it all though Grin

pixiestix · 20/07/2011 21:15

Great news that your midwife is relaxed Late Smile Have lots of fun tonight.

Toria is right, there is no end to the worry Lanky! I completely ruined my pregnancy with my incessant worrying, but no one could have advised me otherwise. I was deranged with it! Now that DD is here it is a bit better funnily enough. Although I still listen for her breathing about a dozen times a night. Sigh.
