Hi ladies-thought I would be adventurous & set up the new thread for the final leg of our journey Grin

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
WanderingSheep · 27/01/2011 13:27

Grin at doing TPT measurements! I think the last time I measured I was 8.5 sheets. I'd probably need the hole roll now he he!

WanderingSheep · 27/01/2011 13:28

Shock your poor friend needto! ow!

wigglesrock · 27/01/2011 13:33

PinkiePoo impressive bump!!!

cheekymonk I have 2 girls - 5&3, this one is a surprise, not through choice. More a case of awkward baby and even more awkward hospital policy!!

DD2 has told the playgroup the baby names so no turning back now! Decision been made, I have had no wobbles but Mr Wiggles is still slightly iffy over Noah Grin

WanderingSheep · 27/01/2011 13:40

Wiggles I can't go back on names either now! DD has told everyone! I knew that she'd told her teachers but I think she's been telling her friends. I overheard a little girl saying to her mum this morning - "X's mummy is having a baby called Charlotte!" It made me smile.

CheekyMonk I already have a DD (3) and we're having another DD.

wigglesrock · 27/01/2011 13:51

wanderingsheep ssshh Charlotte is Mr Wiggles favourite name ever, have managed to swing him round to Anna but I have a slight panic every time someone mentioned Charlotte in his earshot Grin

WanderingSheep · 27/01/2011 14:16

Anna and Noah are lovely names Smile.

wigglesrock · 27/01/2011 14:19

Well as long as its either or, not both !!! Grin

snowangels1 · 27/01/2011 14:43

I love both Anna and Noah wiggles. Noah was on our boys list, but, since it seems we're having a girl we won't be using it Wink.

wandering DH came in last night and said to me 'what about charlotte' for a name option Wink . I wish we'd decide on our name and be done with now.

needto I have to admit I did TPT last week on my own secretly just for fun Blush . I was 11 sheets - actually not as much as I thought I might be. I wonder if our rounded backs make our bellies look even bigger than they actually are.

ledkr · 27/01/2011 14:51

HI all baby no name born at 11.10 7lb 13oz.enough water to solve world droughts. BIg my ass. She is gorgeous. x

Deliaskis · 27/01/2011 14:51

Anybody else reeeeeeeeally want to hear from Ledkr now, even though she probably is busy cuddling new baby and really mn should not be high on her priority list!

EauRouge · 27/01/2011 14:53

Congrats ledkr and family! I'm glad all is well, hope you're not feeling too sore x

Deliaskis · 27/01/2011 14:54

Oh my God talk about x-posting coincidence!!!!

Congrats Ledkr . You have your lovely new baby now, that in itself is totally amazing (and also a little surreal for a soon-to-be first time Mum like me)!

snowangels1 · 27/01/2011 14:59

congrats ledkr and baby no name - let's have some piccies uploaded at some point if you get the chance please :) so exciting Grin

TallulahBelly14 · 27/01/2011 15:22

Oh hurrah Ledkr, huge congratulations. That's a very healthy size, can't wait to see pictures.

Thanks for the reassurance wiggles, Suzy and angels - am hoping that this baby also magically decides to turn him/herself the right way round when the time comes.

Needtosleep, how long do you sit on your ball for at a time? And do you do random bouncing, or specific exercises? Am heading out to buy one right now, I just hope it's not too late!

My proteinuria wasn't any better at my appt today so I've been given an induction date of Tuesday! The consultant actually said she'd like me to have it before that, but there just weren't any available slots. Fingers crossed for a cancellation on Monday! Just need to make sure my bags are packed before then, how very exciting! We'll all have our shiny new babies so soon!

varicoseveined · 27/01/2011 15:23

Congrats ledkr! :)

Grannyapple · 27/01/2011 15:33

Tallulah good luck for Tuesday! How exciting to have another Feb baby with an arrival date.

They're going to start coming thick and fast now I would think (well not literally, I hope).

D

NeedToSleepZZZ · 27/01/2011 15:39

hooray!!!! ledkr Congratulations, 7lb 13 sounds perfect to me, hope you're resting now and enjoying lots of cuddles! So happy for you after seeing your thread about being frightened. Big hug x

tallulah I sit on my ball for as long as possible, probably about 2 1/2 hours a day and I have my hips as open as possible (oh the glamour!) and I rock from side to side then rotate my hips so I go round in circles. You can always get adventurous and bounce, I do when I'm frustrated as it's meant to get your lo to move down and help start your cervix to thin when he/ she's engaged. I start to feel a bit nauseous if I do that for too long though. One good one my mw told me was to sit on it and lean on the back of a low chair whilst rocking as it helps your lo get into position which I guess is what you want! Afterwards, it feels like I've been riding a horse and it definitely causes BHs for me.

Can't believe you might be induced on Monday, fantastic! Make the most of this weekend! Smile

Am going to upload another pic.... I took a vouple of me in my bikini earlier but definitely not posting them, they're just for me to remember not to do this again Wink

janedoe25 · 27/01/2011 15:50

yay, congratulations Ledkr! so happy for you hope u are getting loads of baby cuddles!

Anna and Noah are gorgeous names, Anna was on my list but we have decided on Zoe for the baby's name.

exciting news tallulah bet u cant wait!

smallblackflowers · 27/01/2011 15:54

ledkr lovely to hear your news, and really pleased that you are well enough after your op to update us.

Cheekymonk welcome Smile

tallulah good luck for Tuesday! Very exciting to have another confirmed baby on the way.

I've been feeling really crampy all day today, although things have eased off since I had a bath. Was starting to think that things were kicking off for a while there!

WanderingSheep · 27/01/2011 15:56

Yay Ledkr congratulations! I can't believe that "Big Bertha" was not so big after all! Grin Hope you're enjoying snuggling up with your newborn and getting as much rest as possible!

wigglesrock · 27/01/2011 16:20

Brillant news Ledkr - great size, glad all went well, enjoy lots of hugs. Love to you, dh, Ella, baby and rest of your family. take it easy Ps enjoy the champagne xxx

Tarlia · 27/01/2011 16:43

Congratulations, Ledkr! I hope you are all doing well, enjoy those snuggles. Baby is a perfect weight, did you soak anyone with all that fluid? Grin

Exciting, Tallulah. good luck for Tuesday!

Oooh, SBF, keep us updated!

Loving the idea of doing TPT this week, it's a shame we all forgot about it! I wonder how many sheets I'll need.

Angels, try not to fret, baby probably isn't as big as they say. Also wanted to share, my nephew was born just shy of 11lb, normal vaginal labour, not a stitchShock. I have heard that bigger babies are easier than the small ones..

Cheekymonk, welcome to the thread :-)

Deliaskis · 27/01/2011 16:54

Sorry but couldn't resist posting my 'yeeuch!' moment on re-reading the title of this thread, and re-considering it, with impending childbirth in mind! Was it deliberate? Or am I just reading too much into it Blush?

Bensmum76 · 27/01/2011 17:11

Congrats Ledkr and good luck to all who may be induced over the next few days. It's all happening now!
