Hope your scan is ok today Mrs Stevo!

Talking of maternity clothes, I've found H&M are good, although a little pricey. The benefit of a second pregnancy is that you then know what you like wearing the second time round. For instance, I had assumed last time that I wouldn't get on with over the bump styles, and it was fairly late into the pregnancy that I got fed up with stuff falling down and got some over the bump trousers, which I then lived in for the next couple of months! So this time I have already gone out and got a couple more in similar styles as I know I will get on with them :) I also needed a couple more pairs as I was working last time, so could get away with the same pair of smart black trousers all week at work, but needed more casual stuff this time! So I am all set for maternity clothes :o I did consider wearing a pair of maternity jeans last week (ran out of washing ) but it was really obvious that they were maternity jeans, so I didn't in the end as it would have meant some strange looks from the people who don't know I'm pregnant yet!

PV1 Next do a petite maternity range. I got myself a pair of their linen trousers & they are really comfy plus its not that obvious that they are maternity trousers.

Helllloooo! One very happy indeed Mrs Stevo here! We still have two wriggling little beasts (aka 'The Poddington Peas'). Both are starting to look like actual babies now!! So amazing to watch them wriggling around and see their tiny heartbeats. And, they've moved my date forward!!! Hurrah! I am 10w6d now so due on 23rd August. Feel less grumps about being so late on in the month now!

Have got 3 more dates booked in already - one 1 NT, 1 for meeting our consultant and 1 for 20w / anomaly.

Have just eaten a large slice of (celebratory) coffee & walnut cake

Oh, and most importantly (since that was what the scan was for) they are definitely identical! Two girls or two boys ... eeek!!

I agree with LifeOfKate with my first I got the jeans with the joey pouch on the front and hated them!! I found the the bottom bit of jean dug right into my bump and were just real uncomfortalbe. So with my second I bought all full jeans and found them ace right through to the end. I have stocked up on jeans this time (full ones again) Dorothy Perkins, Top Shop and New Look and have a pair of white linen pants for in the summer - got them in sale at Christmas with the mind that if anything goes wrong I can ebay them. I got a few tops but still need to get some and maybe a pair of black linen pants for work, much more comfy than taylored pants for the summer months I reckon. And will be nice to just live in sandals and little pumps in the summer wont it??

Bring on Summer 2011 I say!!

Forgot to say in my post, new look are quite good for cheap maternity clothes, not the best quality, but that doesn't matter so much with maternity clothes which you won't be wearing for that long :)

identical twins will be lovely i think its nicer to have a twin your same gender than an opposite gender one - may be biased as idential myself but congrats!!

Hello everyone, I've not been on for a while so had a lot of catching up to do! Congrats mrsstevo that's fab news and to everyone else who have had good scans.

I'm down in the dumps as I have another 18 days (a lifetime?) to wait for my scan. It doesn't bother me on days where I feel sick and grumpy, knackared and crippled with back / boob pain but today I have ZERO symptoms and can't see how I can stay sane for the next 18 days. Oh wait, I'm not completely symptom free, my immune system is shot to pieces and I am living the joys of (TMI...) thrush and a boil (WTF?!!) in the most uncomfortable place imaginable. I would be happy to put up with it if I knew everything was ok with the bean but I won't know that for another 18 days (yes I think I've said that enough).....moan over.

lozza try fresh peppermint tea - just mint leaves in a mug with boiling water and sugar / honey to taste. I swear by it for clearing the sinuses. Also, get some menthol and eucalyptus from a chemist and inhale that over a bowl of boiling water. Hope you feel better soon.

hello ladies. Regarding maternity clothes its worth while remembering what the weather should be like when we,re wearing stuff. I had dd in late july so i would defo say flip flops will be a god send when bending is am issue. Also i'm finding leggings and long fitted tops hide everything. I'm not bothering with maternity tops just getting cheap ones and let them stretch as they are far less pricey than mat stuff. I second the over bump clothes. It feels like the weight is supported also. I.ve just finished work and have dealt with a 30 min tantrum off my dd as her gran didn't let her nap. So i'm wrecked now. At least i can put her to bed soon, i would love a glass of baileys, but will resist.

I agree MrsVidic with the pricey maternity stuff. Been having a look for when the time comes, and think am going to buy stretchy stuff, tunic tops that flow from the boob area :) and just bigger sizes. Already got a few pre-pregnancy floaty and stretchy tops, and elasticated waist bottoms so hope they will do before I get too big :)

I spoke to my Consultants Secretary the other day about my Flu jab.
She has been incredibly patient and understanding with my menkuling over the last year , she said " Ooooo, nearly 10 weeks, ah, you'll be fine!"
I'd like to think her optimism is well founded as she's seen hundreds of women success through this trial but I still won't be able to believe it till I'm holding my baby.

Haven't posted for a while but I've just had my scan and I'm pleased to say that even though I've been ill enough to be growing about half a dozen, there's one healthy looking bubba. No word of a lie, it was lying on its back, feet in the air and hands behind its head - holiday in a hammock obviously! I had to do all kinds of wiggling to try and get it to move around. OH is very pleased as this is him to a tea and he's now convinced its a boy. I'm therefore going to put myself on the list all official like :)

What's going on with the list?
I know its accidental but the evening before my scan in my hormonal emotional state is not a good time to be wiped off for the 3rd time
I can't fix it on my ipod .

I think someone has copied a rally old list because I changed my EDD last Tuesday and on the one above it has been changed back! I will see if I can locate the most recent correct one from earlier today and make any changes others have tried to do!
