New thread here for those final few weeks (fingers crossed!)

No no no me next Grin
Looks like Sara's mw was right and the second one follows the pattern of the first, DD was 9 days late

A bit less wriggling here too though Maltesers get it bopping Smile

Pootle78 · 22/01/2011 18:50

Luckily I've not had any calls yet, but have decided if they start to annoy me I'm going to reply with "yes, had it 3 days ago, just didn't want to tell anyone!"

Looks like everyone has had a lovely day, other than those with wiggle issues, lack of space as others have said but my midwife told us that they don't stop moving so if you are worried call your fhu.

We went for lunch and had the most rich chocolate fudge cake and now I feel sick! Also went to Asda and could have cried at how cute their new baby range is, the majority is Disney which isn't everyone's cup of tea but it was lovely and think dh will have a field day once baby is here.

We also bought 2 cartons of ready made milk and some bottles just in case we have any problems with feeding during the night so we don't have to rush out. Also hope that as we have it, we won't need it! Have gone for hipp organic milk as who knows what goes into the stuff!

I see there's rubbish on the tv again tonight, dh is talking about an early night to coax baby out, lucky me Grin will try not to queue jump bubba !

tee hee pootle enjoy your early night Wink

four texts and 2 voicemails today alone... love my lovely friends, can't stand the onus to check back in with no, nothing happening yet.

wonder what they'd say if i called and said i was in labour on a boat in the middle of the ocean.

grumble, chortle, grumble.

is it really that mean for the baby to queue jump? i mean, the tiny little cutsey things don't know there's a Bubba heirarchy... do they? Grin all right, all right. i'll wait! but HURRY UP BABYBUBBA!!

NoLadyButManyBubbasAndBumps · 22/01/2011 18:59

lol pootle that's the kind of response I use too! :o

Good idea with the hipp - I've done the same with aptamil and hope I won't need it.

Fuzzy my DD1 was early, DD2 was on her due date. This one is not playing by the rule book. Already my least favourite :o Shock :o

NoLadyButManyBubbasAndBumps · 22/01/2011 19:01

Oooh crystyll you're a brave one! Angry

Wink :o

pootle - jiggy three times in a row then lie back and raise your pelvis to coax your cervix in spunk. Mmmmh. SO Elegant.

NoLadyButManyBubbasAndBumps · 22/01/2011 19:11

coax??? WTF?? I meant 'coat'

NoLadyButManyBubbasAndBumps · 22/01/2011 19:12

As I've done three posts in a row, thought I'd continue the solo conversation with this fourth one! :o

Crystylline · 22/01/2011 19:18

I'm just letting you ramble on hun!
yuck to coxing or coating the cervix.

what shall i eat??? need food (again!)

RunningKatie · 22/01/2011 19:28

Jiggy three times in a row, good heavens bubba - are we athletes?

Walk and curry done, but no sign of babyrunning wanting to come to see the world. The German girl on my NCT course had her baby on the due date, typical german efficiency as she said! Wink

C'mon babies, we need more arrivals!

gallicgirl · 22/01/2011 19:38

jiggling??? Too much of a chore. It did cross my mind that it's like TTC again.

Must find that list of dates so I can kick you upstarts back to your rightful places further back in the queue!

Pootle78 · 22/01/2011 19:41

Coating my cervix is how I got in this state in the first place! I seem to remember for a joke I put my legs up against the wall and 3 weeks later +'ve test!!!!!!

oh joy! i'm so far down the list!

and good grief! what are these babies doing? everyone, bar LadyBuzz, went overdue this week.

is this thread suddenly going to be empty completely one day next week with the whole lot of us mooing in the labour wards?

RunningKatie · 22/01/2011 19:46

Aha, I see the list has been found! :)

Please don't tell me I have to wait for another 5 babies to be born before I'm allowed to launch this one into the world. Shock

Fuzzywood · 22/01/2011 19:50

Donut or mini roll, hmmmm decisions decisions
Think DH is hoping I'm getting desperate enough to try jumping him, it's almost getting go that stage but I cannot be arsed (will probably have changed my tune if still pg tomorrow) not sure I like the idea of coating my cervix with anything though Hmm

Fuzzywood · 22/01/2011 19:52

X posts, yes you all have to wait in line behind me and Travis tis only fair Grin

gallicgirl · 22/01/2011 19:56

Just goes to show how inaccurate dating is!

...and yet docs and MW expect us to follow their advice in order to get baby moving....Hmm

Pootle78 · 22/01/2011 19:57

At this rate, we'll be on a new thread before all our babies are here!!!

OP posts:
RunningKatie · 22/01/2011 19:58

Fuzzy, mini roll, every time.

gallicgirl · 22/01/2011 19:59

found this info about due dates.

Only 5% arrive on time and of the other 95%, 70% arrive AFTER the due date so that's most of them. Glad I've found that :)

Pootle78 · 22/01/2011 19:59

Depends if it is a krispy kreme though running !!!

OP posts:
travispickles · 22/01/2011 19:59

Hear hear! Feel like I missed the boat

NoLadyButManyBubbasAndBumps · 22/01/2011 20:08

lol - sorry to talk about coating cervixes! :o

I put my legs up against the wall also with DD1 - worked a treat. I know jiggy works, and I'm fed up beyond belief, but still don't think MrBubba's getting any. It's uncomfortable enough turning over in bed, let alone that! :o

Oy, that list is pants! You do realise that the starter of the original post is the one who gets to go next. (me by the way)

:o

Crystylline · 22/01/2011 20:09

fuzzy both.

Grin
NoLadyButManyBubbasAndBumps · 22/01/2011 20:15

Go for a doughnut, followed by a mini-roll with MrFuzzy (:o) then a real mini-roll as a reward. >>nods sagely to self
