Hi all thanks for the kind word all of you,we seem to be all feeling the same.
Angels you will love your basket,i got a really pretty on at the baby show,im going to unwrap it on Monday and make it up all ready on Wednesday (excited emoticon)I am going to use it downstairs in the day then shge can go up with me in it at night, after a few weeks she will sleep in pram down here so i am ready to go to the school if she is sleeping.
Mw measured me as 47 wks and phoned hospital to check ok,they queried why i wasnt tested for gd but said its too late now so i will need to keep an eye on movements and go in for monitoring on Monday when have pre op thingy.I feel like you now debka, talk about spring stuff on you at the last minute.
Mw reckons i hanging on until dd birthday is over and then will just go into labour.

pinkie so sorry you feel rubbish, if it's any consolation I did too a couple of days ago, thought I might be coming down with a virus as was so lethargic and generally achey. Now it's just the twinges and backache, oh, and not sleeping....

angels yay for the half price moses basket! I think they're so pretty! I have ordered a travel cot which looks pretty good from samsonite. Apparently it folds up to the size of a dinner plate. I'll use it in the living room in the day then he can go into his crib at night.

A friend told me today that if your waters break whilst you're in Boots then you get a huge hamper of goodies so I can see myself wandering between M&S and there over the next week, maybe I can do both if I time it right?!!!! Wink

I've been having A LOT of pressure down below, it's almost sore like when you've had a lot of sex (not that I can remember what that is right now Grin). He feels so heavy and so low, got to be a good sign, right?

ledkr you do sound as if you're about to pop! I must admit it would be nice to know the date now rather than wondering how much longer. I'm surprised they've only just realised about testing for gdd but there's no point now is there? Just hang on in there for DD's party Smile

My dh nearly lost it with ds this morning because he keeps insisting on crawling in bed with us at about 5 and there just isn't the room anymore! I know he just wants a cuddle which is very sweet but I'd like to sleep all night for the last couple of weeks!

It's not long now ladies and we will be filling these pages with lovely birth announcements! Smile

needto I've been getting alot of that pressure type feeling too, and very hard to walk anywhere full stop now. Like your idea of spending the day between boots and M&S in the hope your waters break Wink . Oh, and I'm sure I know someone who has that samsonite travel cot and they used it for baby day time naps and said it was v good and v easy to transport around to friends/relatives etc too.

Just found out my mum had a 4 hour labour from start to finish with me and my sister Shock . She says it was only quick as she was induced both times but I'm not so sure - don't some people still take ages even when induced? Am a bit scared (and also a little hopeful) that things might move quickly with my labour (probably wishful thinking and I'll be the one with a 5 day labour Wink ). Anyone know if these things can be hereditary? I am a similar body shape etc to my mum and take after her in lots of ways Hmm

ledkr how's the party planning going? Are you all organised?
