ledkr I get that odd numb groin pain at night. Used my dream genii pillow last night though and did seem to help me sleep a bit. Your whole family-in-laws btw sound quite
. I'm also worried about things going wrong so late - I had no downs screening whatsoever (as I felt too ill to go to the hospital to have the tests carried out) so I have no idea at all the chances of this baby having downs. I know there are lots of perfectly lovely downs babies born and I'd love her no matter what, but it does cross my mind sometimes.
PDR I'm really hoping to organise a christening this summer. I'm not very religious but it's something that I really want to do. DH isn't so sure though so will take some pursuading.
Speaking of reflexology for starting labour - I've booked mine for when I'm 37.5 weeks and probably weekly thereafter until it kicks in. I had it on mon and she fiddled with the bit to do with blood sugar (or hormones associated with it) and later that day I had my lowest post meal reading ever - lower than some of my pre breakfast readings - I wonder if that'#s what it was
.
Is anyone planning on doing birth announcement cards to friends/relatives? Does anyone do them any more? I'm wondering whether to buy a couple of packs of cards for the old school style relatives but wondering what others are doing re: this.
Great news jack - have been thinking of you and wondering how you've been getting along.
Speaking of TPT (Which I'm too scared to do now) I was having a wee last night (prob tmi) and I could feel babies ?head? wiggling around in my pelvis and was really really painful to wee. eek. As soon as I stood up was back to normalagain.
Went to hospital this morning re: if I can have epidural and yipee I can (issue re: back issue). Anaethatist (can't spell) was really nice and said at this hospital 78% of people get an epi within 15 mins of requesting one - that sounds like a reassuring stat, right??
