Oh Pol - that's wonderful news . Sorry to hear the HB was thwarted by the BP but sounds like you were in good hands and, best of all, you got your prize. Really thrilled for you

Welcome, welcome HalleBerry - come join the fun!!!

So, who's next

rocketleaf · 05/01/2011 09:11

Oh thats great news polly Transfer must have ben scary as hell but worth it now you are both OK and little bird is doing so well. Phew! Chinese burn for you and little feather kisses for the wee one. :o

I had a crap nights sleep, I haven't been waking up much recently but last night woke at 2 thinking of you and then again at about 4.15, coincidence much?!! Both times I was going to check my phone for news and glad i didn't or might not have got back to sleep!!!

Welcome Halleberry sorry you had some early trouble but glad all is well now. That reminds me need to douse sex of baby before scan on Monday. Woooooo! :o

rocketleaf · 05/01/2011 09:12

spooky crosspost there *clucks" I didnt copy you honest!

HalleLouja · 05/01/2011 09:17

Thanks for the welcome I was Loujalou but changed my name in the spirit of Xmas but have decided it is better than my old name so it sticks.

Orchid12 · 05/01/2011 09:24

Hello Louja - not sure if you remember me from the 'having difficulties TTC 2' thread a while back? Glad you're doing ok and bump is ok. I'm not far behind you, I'm 14 weeks now.

rocket sorry to hear you didn't sleep too well. I had a good sleep for a change. I was sick just before I went to bed and felt infinately better for it which is probably why I slept so well. I keep having odd dreams (one of the more horrible ones was that there was a man stood behind my bedroom door watching me sleep before he killed me Shock) so have started putting lavender on my pillow which I think is also helping.

BarbiesBeaver · 05/01/2011 09:33

Welcome baby Poo! Big grin over here for the safe arrival of another little ESH baby. Well done MrsPoo!

HalleLouja · 05/01/2011 09:33

I remember you Orchid. Nice to see you here. I had a midwife appointment yesterday and baby still has a heartbeat though there was an awkward minute or so whilst she she found it. It might have been about 10 seconds but felt forever.

My baby might come out early if its like its big brother. So not paying too much attention to dates but am due on 22nd June - apparently...

MsFC · 05/01/2011 09:39

polstar!! Congratulations!!!

And although you didn't get your HB, it's GREAT news about not tearing much and the speed too. I am so so happy for you.

Casserole · 05/01/2011 09:40

Oh Polly you clever girl. What wonderful news. And it sounds like you did loads of it at home too, so well done. Can't wait for pics etc elsewhere.

Enjoy snuggling :)

xxx

OkieCokie · 05/01/2011 09:46

wahey! delighted for you pol. Well done on the relatively quick and intense birth. x

owlbooty · 05/01/2011 10:22

Woohoo! Hoorah for BabyPol :)

Ocarina · 05/01/2011 10:55

Hooray! That's fab news Pol, hope you're being spoilt rotten and loving every minute. Do let us know how Boo gets on meeting her new sister.

ChoChoSan · 05/01/2011 11:02

Congratulations on your lovely little girl Pols. Sorry the HB didn't work out, but it looks like things went swimmingly anyway, so smooches to you all!

So, MrsFC, it's you in the firing line next....I can feel safe as long as I have got your skirts to hide behind Smile

Congrats on the blue baby Scorpalina...so good of you to provide the ILs with a superior manchild.

I've got mw coming for home visit today and hopefully dropping off hb stuff. It's beginning to get real now, can't believe we have been ttc since early 2006 and finally going to win a baybee. I am beginning to get a bit scared!

MsFC · 05/01/2011 11:09

Me next? Nah.

Can't be me, I haven't even bought nappies yet or booked my TENS machine....

Ivegotmrbitey · 05/01/2011 11:12

Congratulations pol have such a warm snuggly feeling for you and the babybird!

Hello halle, congratulations! You are four weeks in front of me so please please tell me you have stopped puking and are glowing?

'lo owlie , nice to see you to see you nice Smile

Since yesterday's scan confirmation that there really is a baybee in there the FDH has started chatting to it. He made me jump out of my skin yesterday when we were having tea by asking what he or she thought of their first taste of lasagne! Me and the baybee got kissed goodnight last night as well, bless him! May have to change his name from the foot dragging husband to the soppy one if this continues!

laurielou · 05/01/2011 11:18

Ooooh the Deli is all warm & fuzzy today Smile

Welcome to Louja.

Owly don't think you can just sneak in either. Speshally not when you have cakes.

Tis lovely to have you both on board.

I know today is all about FamilyPoo, but can I just say I think I may BURST with excitement if my scan doesn't hurry up (28 hours & counting) Grin

Now, back to happu snuggly baybee thoughts.......

laurielou · 05/01/2011 11:18

happy even.

LadyGoneGaga · 05/01/2011 11:30

Aw, Congratulations, Pol. A little girl - and a wee one too. Could not have been more wrong with my prediction! Don't worry about the non-HB - you tried and I bet you got to labour in your pool which all prob helped with the fast labour. Hope BP comes down quickly so you can go home and enjoy!

Welcome Halle and Owlie - stuffs face with cake. Yay, the Deli is filling back up. Just need some more BESHies to start coming through asap as well!

Tried out one of the recipes from Jamie Oliver's 30 min meals last night. Was scrummy - Jools pregnant pasta appropriately. I can recommend.

Scorpette · 05/01/2011 11:34

Well done POLLYPOCKET! And gentlest little nuzzles for Boo Two (I know which name you're on about and I loveloveLOVE it!) :)

Sorry you didn't get your HB in the end, but that gorgeous little girl makes everything all right, doesn't she? Aww, so happy for you (and your relatively unscathed undercarriage) - and for all Family Poo. I couldn't sleep last night cos was excited for you and then I slept in and I was yelling at my laptop to load so I could find out. Doing a very waddly dance of joy now - and like Muse, I too welcome our female Messiah!

Welcome BeloujahCaviar! And who is this Owlbooty trying to sneak in, mnnnphhh?

Orchid, I feel your dream pain - not only can I not get to sleep or stay asleep, I keep having nightmares, particularly ones where I find out somehow that my parents secretly hate me and do cruel, freaky stuff (am sure Freud would have a field day with a preggo having that sort of dream!). Confused

rocketleaf · 05/01/2011 11:35

Sorry to hear you are still pukey lovelyorchid I have been having weird dreams too but they are either a bit fruity Blush or involve me rocking up to work and then realising I shouldn't be there anymore, nothings nasty as yours tho!

lozzer its so exciting about the scan isn't it!! is yours tomorrow then? I have mine Monday but as have had sneak preview I am fairly chilled about it (ha not)

:o at Mrmrbiteys chattering, TB is the same since I told him Sprout can now actually hear him, its got even worse/better. Is cute but makes me laugh at the silliness.

Mrs you can't run and you can;t hide, you're up next!

Still buzzing off of pol and bambilinopol,

rocketleaf · 05/01/2011 11:37

oh forgot to bundle boots and steal all the cakes, what? I can only have virtual ones, cute me some slack :o

rocketleaf · 05/01/2011 11:37

cute cut

maswera · 05/01/2011 12:16

Congratulations Pol!!

laurielou · 05/01/2011 12:18

Rocket yes, scan is tomorrow, 3pm. I think coz there was that mess up with MW appointment in Dec & I didn't get to hear HB, I'm more keen than ever for tomorrow. The 12 week scan was amaze, but it was still all very new & very unreal, plus I was concentrating so hard not to pee myself that it kind of passed by in a bit of a blur. I know a bit more of what to expect now, & I likey!

I'm sorry there are so many nightmares around, but kind of reassured as I went through a spell of them too. The most memorable (which still makes me wobble now) was that I was clinging for dear life at the top to the Severn Bridge, with my friend at the bottom very helpfully shouting up did I realise how high I was (I'm a bit rubbish with heights in RL). It was so real, it was swaying. In the end (& Ive had this feeling in RL too) I decided that the only safe ground was "down there" & the quickest way was to jump. So I launched myself off the top of the bridge to gasps & screams from people at the bottom. I jumped awake as I "jumped from the bridge". Was not nice Sad. Probably analysed as taking a leap of faith into the unknown or some such thing.

Anyhoo, back to happy, snuggly baby thoughts. Wonder if PrettyPolly has been allowed home yet? And wonder when my constant thinking about what Family Poo are up to creeps into stalker territory?

Ariesgirl · 05/01/2011 12:27

Wonderful news OurPol . A lovely little girl. Bloody well done old bean, and hurrah for the almost intact undercarriage. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
