That floats on high o'er vales and hills
When all at once I saw a crowd
Of cackling, quaffing, ne-er-do-wells

Pull up a seat, grap a glass of vino and a piece of sushi, it's Delitime again.

Just checking in quickly to see what Moo and Okie progress is going on. Good luck!

rocketleaf · 08/11/2010 13:25

Hollow laugh at Twinks and Orchid Oh how I feel your pain. I have been feeling really really crap the last few days after thinking I had turned a corner last week and eating has stopped making me feel better. It just swaps the nausea to heart burn, then when that wears off the nausea comes back. JOY. I just need to go to bed but still have 4 hours of work left. Also took me 1 and half hours to get to work this morning so I think I am going to have to start leaving even earlier which frankly makes me want to cry. Argh, we need to borrow the wet fish from the Palais, I'll shut up moaning now. I can't believe you have teach orcs* hope it goes ok this avo.

Very excited for moo sounds like it could be very soon!

SilverSky · 08/11/2010 13:42

orchid welcome to ze deli. In my early preggo days I used to spend my lunch hour wandering the aisles of Sainsbugs desperately trying to find soemthing to eat. I lived on junk and also multivits as they took the edge off. As I have said before I would go into the loos at work sit on the loo and lean on the cold tiled wall wailing "I can't do this for 9 mths". You and lozzbozz are not alone. I like think those that don't suffer with ms will pay at some point! Perhaps with extra stretch marks or summat !

mooWillBeAMamaSoon show sounds promising as do cramps. Chill baby chill. Breathe that baybee out.

I am more tired than sleeping beauty tho i resemble grotbags.

Muser · 08/11/2010 13:51

On that basis Silver does it mean that I will get something lovely for still puking in the am at 24 weeks? Today was my favourite puke/nosebleed combo. Niiice.

I am 24 weeks now, which is very exciting. Bob is officially viable now. Although I have had stern words that he/she is not to arrive for at least another 12 weeks.

ohh exciting muse funny thing being diffed, its like a series of landmarks, innit. That probably sounds a bit stupid but I just think when you've been TTC for a while, you forget to think about what will happen in between getting diffed and giving birth cos you are so focussed on the getting diffed part.

Scorpette · 08/11/2010 13:58

Hope you're doing okay, Moo. 'Tis the birthday of a rather fantastic PESH today, so if you lay soon, the baby will be in excellent company :)

I thought I was getting better but I was wrong. WARNING! TMI ALERT! I did the most heinous vom yesterday that was the consistency of sausagemeat and came out so slowly that I kept choking (think toothpaste out of a tube!). I had to hit myself in the throat to make myself swallow at one point and there was blood in the spew! Shock In between bouts, I wanted TYF to come and pat/rub me on the back and we had an argument about him hiding in the bedroom as I spewed Angry - although getting mad did stop me being sick again! Then he admitted that he has emetophobia (sp?) and was freaked out. I'm afraid I didn't exactly use dulcet tones when asking if him feeling a bit freaked out was more important than stopping me choking Hmm

I have to eat all the time to stave off the pain and yet everything makes me feel like crying at the thought of eating it. The only things I fancy eating are things I am allergic to. I've gone so long without them (over 10 yrs) that I no longer craved them when not pg, so is a horrible shock that I spend all day craving things that would make me ill(er) Sad Pity me, pity me!

Sorry, another mememe moment Blush Every day is a nightmare of food and nausea.

Scorpette · 08/11/2010 14:04

PS Should add that I have a slight oesophageal weakness and find swallowing more difficult than others and choke very easily (I have to take tiny sips/bites of everything), so when I vom like that, it's really scary and I have nearly choked to death being sick before, so naturally I get a bit freaked out when I'm throwing up like that (I realise that worrying doesn't help). TYF knows this and it makes me v upset that he hides or makes excuses for not coming to see how I am when I'm sick, in case I need help.

laurielou · 08/11/2010 14:50

Oh scorps you poor love, that sounds awful. How many weeks are you now? I'm 11 today & I swear if I don't wake up blooming next Monday there's going to be a whole heap of trouble.

SilverSky · 08/11/2010 15:26

Scorpo tell ya man I also suffer from that ! I fort the baybee was gonna puke on me and I nearly dropped him in fear. Also the nice dreams lady doing my spinal block also suffered so when I said I felt sick during my section she gave me some nice drucks to stop it cos I said I have a fear of it. She said she did too and gave me extra drucks. That's what you call service.

MrsFC · 08/11/2010 16:13

Go ancients of moomoo! Hope it wasn't too sad when the moodog left xx

And so sorry for all the pukey ESHES. Eat lots of what you fancy. I ate salted peanuts, and white carbs also did the trick. Gained a stack of weight but then it leveled out. And like ever stoical muse says, take heart in knowing your baybee will be willfully stealing all your nutrients and leaving you with none. Setting you straight from an early age about just who is the boss. Still, you'll be able to get your own back when you ground them at 15....

Scorpette · 08/11/2010 17:19

What do you do when you CAN'T eat anything you fancy, like me, FC Sad Sad Sad

Silver, am glad you got such good anti-puke service when being sectioned (deliberate choice of words Wink). I've tried explaining to TYF that babies puke a lot (and I used to projectile vomit because of my oesophageal ishoos!) and that I could well vom during labour and my sickness ain't slowing down yet, so he really has to get to grips with it and learn how to deal. He's a reet nervous nelly about most things and this is one area where I can't indulge that (I sound mean - TYF is my dream man and an absolute angel, doing 100% of the housework at the mo, telling me I am gorgeous when I look like an acne-ridden porpoise in a lanky fright wig, etc., but he is very anxious about lots of things and I'm just too ill for it all at the mo).

LoubyLou, am just ahead of you at 12+2 :) I think it's gone off about 10%, so am truly hoping it'll start to trail off. Some people say it trails off, others say they woke up one day and magically felt fine and others, like poor old St.Muse haven't had much respite yet... Sad

SilverSky · 08/11/2010 17:40

Ou est le honeymummy? I finks in the early stages of sneezing!!!!

rollerbaby · 08/11/2010 18:04

Yo I am STILL here. Nuffink going on today at all. REALLY boring. Show has continued all day but not a single contraction or uncomfortable cramp. Wonder if tonight or tomorrow then, or whether we'll go to 2nd sweep Weds morning. I can't believe it will be that long but this baby ain't movin.

Feel so horrid for the pukesome ones. It's not funny... but it will go!

CluckyKate · 08/11/2010 18:13

Maybe the hippo-stuff is working Moo and you is sooo relaxed you don't even know. Watch out for the next poo....could well be baybee wanting to come out Grin

AlpinePony · 08/11/2010 18:20

lol @ "the puking will pass".

Oh honey, would it help if we all took turns in tweaking your nips?

When only junkfood hits the spot, can I re-recommend Burger King Onion Rings at any good drive-thru. You don't even have to get out of your chair differ. They do chilli cheese nuggets too that have never been near a piece of cheese. Heaven.

kate A poo in a dress? Divine!

rollerbaby · 08/11/2010 18:20

Good call... I like that! I've actually had a few of those where I did wonder... :O

MrsFC · 08/11/2010 18:41

Want chilli cheese nuggets now. They sound too delicious.

Hey - all you hippo folk - I have a 'Blissful Birth' CD. Still in it's cellophane. How late can I leave it before I have to come out of De Nile & actually listen to it....?

rocketleaf · 08/11/2010 19:35

scorps you poor thing. Must be awful not to just be able to eat anything that will make you feel better without thinking about it. Glad it seems to be calming down a bit, hopefully in the next few weeks you will feel much better. I am sure TYF will man up eventually, once he gets his head round it but I can see why you are lacking in patience. It's lucky diffedness doesn't really involve feet or I would be screwe, TB will not have anything to do with them.

moo most drawn out run up to labour ever? Hope you aren't too fed up waiting, won't be long now surely!

Talking of poo, my sis told me a wonderful story about a friend of hers who ended up covered in poo during labour, in her hair and everything. How the hell that happened I have no idea but I was SOOO grateful for her telling me about it. Hmm (so grateful I thought I;d pass it on to you lot)

rocketleaf · 08/11/2010 19:36

And now I want onion rings. word of warning, do not be tempted by the bacon and cheese angus, it's what set me on the road to ruin on Saturday (although it was almost worth it)

Medee · 08/11/2010 19:55

I am not sure I needed to know about the poo.

AlpinePony · 08/11/2010 19:56

I wanted to poo so bad during labour. I got out of bed and marched down the corridor to the loo sans pants (minge oot) with jailbait carrying my yellow handbag. And yes, he stood in the bathroom whilst I tried to poo. Nothing. :(

rocketleaf · 08/11/2010 19:58

sharing is caring meds :o

rollerbaby · 08/11/2010 20:15

:)

PuppyMoo has just left. Literally with the dog equivalent of a fortnight's holiday luggage and a long list of instructions:

watch out for snails
don't leave rubbish out
let him sleep with you etc etc etc

He couldn't have given two hoots and will have a lovely time, I cried for 10 minutes. Christ someone belt me?

I feel like I should be having hot sex but instead we will watch spooks and giles coren/sue perkins and hope for contractions. I've slept so much today I'll be quite cross if it doesnt' come on tonight.... FFS.

rollerbaby · 08/11/2010 20:15

YEs Aply get tweaking - here have a giant nip to hold whilst I open the biscuits.

Scorpette · 08/11/2010 20:16

Perhaps if you had tried shitting in the actual toilet instead of your yellow handbag, Pone... ? Grin
