Due July 2011?

Just got my BFP this morning and so excited! Managed this conception while DH was out of the country so very chuffed that it worked! Already have two DS, one who is 3.2 and an August birthday and one who is 16 months and a June birthday so bring on the Summer parties!

Have never been part of an antenatal club on here before but as this is planned to be my last pregnancy am hoping to find some other July mums to share the journey with (although know I am very early!) Am already worrying how the birth will go as DS2 was born unexpectedly in the kitchen after a 90 min labour with the midwife only just there to catch him, so am a bit worried if subsequent labours are supposed to go quicker whether I will have anyone with me for this one, but at least I have a while to go yet!

Hulla, I am so sorry. Not sure I can say anything of use. But I was thinking of you and your husband today.

So very sorry for your loss Hulla xx

Hulla · 30/11/2010 14:07

Thank you. She said I might have my dates wrong as I'm measuring 6 weeks and if so she wouldn't necessarily expect a heartbeat yet so they'll scan me again on Monday to give it a chance. However, I was charting & using OPKs and I'm very sure of my dates so I am not keeping any false hope for next week. I'm just a but scared about what happens now but that's for another thread.

Let's keep this one happy and positive. I'm doing ok, DH has had to go back to the office but my brother is her and my sister is on her way.

This thread has been a lovely support, I'll look out for all the birth announcements next summer Smile

propercrimbo · 30/11/2010 14:12

Ivegotmrbitey · 30/11/2010 15:43

propercrimbo I do things like that all the time. Welcome to the thread!

Stangirl · 30/11/2010 15:44

Hulla - I am so sorry. The same thing happened to me in 2008 and I know how devastating it feels. My thoughts are with you. x

LadyGoneGaga · 30/11/2010 15:59

Oh Hulla. I wish it was better news. It's hard when you are so sure of your dates, you really wish you weren't. So sorry you're having to go through this. Thinking of you both. x

Debs3693 · 30/11/2010 17:19

nicolamumof3 · 30/11/2010 17:30

hulla im so so sorry for your news. Thinking of you today x

emmywoo · 30/11/2010 17:40

hulla I am so sorry for your loss, I went through the exact same. I had a mc in Sept so please feel free to email me, you should fine my email details on my profile. Sending you huge hugs. xxxx

Hulla · 30/11/2010 17:43

I was using opks and got a positive on cd18 & 19 I think so that would make me 7+2/7+3. I can't be 6 weeks because we didn't have 6 after the positive OPK & sperm doesn't live for 9 days (think my maths is right there).

My brother sobbed when I told him, I felt awful! DH cried for a while and then went into planning ttc which was a bit overwhelming really. I feel a bit heartless because everyone else is crying more than me. I'm not reacting how I expected.

Anyway, I won't come back and post again now, I'll save this talk for the right thread. Sad to leave you all, wishing you all much nausea and nice bouncey scan pictures in the next few weeks and lovely pregnancies and births. Now get back to discussing food, ms and maternity bras please! Smile

isitreallythattime · 30/11/2010 18:29

Love to you hulla

LadyGoneGaga · 30/11/2010 19:04

I'll see you in BF, Hulla. Thinking of you.
