Due July 2011?

MadAboutTheBoys · 24/10/2010 07:42

Just got my BFP this morning and so excited! Managed this conception while DH was out of the country so very chuffed that it worked! Already have two DS, one who is 3.2 and an August birthday and one who is 16 months and a June birthday so bring on the Summer parties!

Have never been part of an antenatal club on here before but as this is planned to be my last pregnancy am hoping to find some other July mums to share the journey with (although know I am very early!) Am already worrying how the birth will go as DS2 was born unexpectedly in the kitchen after a 90 min labour with the midwife only just there to catch him, so am a bit worried if subsequent labours are supposed to go quicker whether I will have anyone with me for this one, but at least I have a while to go yet!

Also wanted to say welcome, Propercrimbo. Looking forwards to getting to know you.

sues1974 · 30/11/2010 19:46

Hi Ladies
Happy to report my scan went well and the little heartbeat flickered straight away.
Im about 7+2 or 3 but havnt been given a date yet, dating scan booked for 10th january which seems an eternity away.
I personally know Hulla so feel awful that i got good news when she didnt and it has been ironic that we both ended up with scans the same time on the same day, i was sure she would be ok. Hulla is the most lovely person you could ever wish to meet and while i didnt get to see much of her before she moved away she touched my life and she will always be a friend and in my thoughts.
Hulla - i am going to be watching future threads cos it will happen one day and it will be a super sticky one.

Welcome propercrimbo to the mad house of july mums to be.

And to anyone that isnt having any symptoms at all and is worried it means something bad then it doesnt have to, i guess i am very lucky that other than being a little more tired than usual i dont have any sickness etc. iam now thinking i am one lucky lady rather than worrying at the time.
suz xx

ItIsILeclerc · 30/11/2010 20:06

Fab news, sues :)

fallingandlaughing · 30/11/2010 20:10

thanks for the update suz.

I am 6+3 (although i think it is really 6+5) and having my first scan tomorrow. A bit nervous esp because of the lack of strong symptoms. Your news was very reassuring.

Also wondering what it is going to be like having a medically managed pregnancy (due to diabetes and epilepsy). Well, we will find out more tomorrow.

I did feel a bit queasy yesterday and the train was mega crowded due to the weather. I felt like I might pass out so I asked someone for a seat and was then surrounded by older ladies trying to feed me mints and biscuits and telling me their pregnancy stories Smile

Welcome propercrimbo!

Gleeb · 30/11/2010 20:26

I'm out I'm afraid :( I started bleeding on Thursdays and the EPDU confirmed it on Friday. I'm taking most of this week off week as I'm not feeling too robust right now. Hope everybody else enjoys the rest of their pregnancy.

fallingandlaughing · 30/11/2010 20:35

Oh Gleeb. I am sorry. Take care x

sues1974 · 30/11/2010 21:38

Oh no Gleeb, so sorry to hear that, you do right having a week of work.
Take care huni and good luck for the future xx
F&L - i cant find the other post i posted on about us having early scans as wanted to wish you good luck for tomorrow. so good luck and fingers crossed for a heartbeat.
My 1st pregnancy was medically managed i presume although no one actually called it that. but i had a kidney transplant so am on anti rejection meds and also blood pressure meds. then last year after i had my DS i was diagnoised with cancer & ended up having radiotherpay to my bum and cervix area so definitely going to be under an obsatrician again. i had to have a c section last time and not sure this time but at the end of the day as long a baby is delivered safely into your arms it doesnt matter how they come into the world. let us know how tomorrow goes xx

MissLolita · 30/11/2010 22:04

Gleeb so sorry to hear your news xxx

LadyGoneGaga · 30/11/2010 22:24

That's awful, Gleeb. So sorry. I would take a bit longer off if you need to. Don't rush back. It takes a hell of a lot out of you physically and emotionally. Take care.

Sues am very pleased to hear your happy news. Has the bleeding all stopped now? Must be a huge relief.

ItIsILeclerc · 30/11/2010 22:28

Thinking of you Gleebs x

Mitchell81 · 01/12/2010 07:12

So sorry to read this gleeb and hula, thinking about you.

Glad to hear other scans have been going well.
I have been wondering whether I am also having a girl as can't remember being as sick during my boys pregnancy. I have 1 girl and 2 boys so would be nice to have another girl. Did try the having sex before ovulation method. But obviously will be happy with either sex along as they are healthy. I have a disabled daughter and we are now not sure whether the syndrome is linked to the female gene. I am
Under a consultant and see her next Thursday to organise section date and additional scans as only way to know whether this baby has the same condition is through scans. As need to know before the baby is born.
We have over two feet of snow in our garden and kids been off school since last Thursday and can't see them going back tomorrow either. The joys of being sick and having to entertain kids all day.

Ivegotmrbitey · 01/12/2010 08:03

So sorry gleeb take care xxx

Eglu · 01/12/2010 08:21

So sorry Gleeb.

I had my booking in appt yesterday. And now have a scan booked for 14th Dec when I will be 11 weeks exactly.

GruffaloMama · 01/12/2010 09:10

Gleeb and Hulla so sorry for you both. Lots of hugs.

I'm feeling a bit all over the place. My DS's childminder told me last night that her daughter has slapped cheek disease (just confirmed yesterday). So I'm off the to doc's this morning to get a blood test to check whether I'm already immune. Apparently about 60% of people are but if I'm not it increases the miscarriage risk to around 10%. It can also get passed to the baby which can mean it needs a blood transfusion in the womb. Am frankly terrified but trying to put it into perspective. The chances are that it's all fine... Not sure when i'll get the test results. On the positive side I am still feeling nauseous and tired and preg, which is a relief after the early bleed in week 5. Seeing the midwife next week for my booking in and will ask for an early scan as I have been really nervous.

Hulla · 01/12/2010 09:46

Gleeb I'm relate sorry xx

Just popped back to ask if someone would take memory the stats please? Thank you x

highheelsandequations · 01/12/2010 09:46

Gleeb so sorry.

I'm having a panic. Had some spotting last night and again in the early hours and GP won't let me risk the drive to the hospital to get a scan at the EPU as roads are too bad. Feeling utterly terrified and panicked and worrying that I'm having another mc and so annoyed with the bloody weather that means I'm just going to have to wait and see.

Hulla · 01/12/2010 09:47

Ah bloody predictive text!

"Take me off the stats please"

highheels- doesn't have to mean the worst. Hopefully you can get a scan soon. Thinking of you. I have had spotting and bright red blood and all is ok so far.

highheelsandequations · 01/12/2010 10:12

Thanks for the reassurance Mitchell just wish I could go and get it checked out.

snotdroolanddirtybums · 01/12/2010 10:56

How is everyone today? I am proper crackers this morning and have cried in work [hblush] I can't tell my colleagues I'm pg because I am on fixed term contracts and will be at an even greater risk of unemployment so now they all think I am a nut-case. Also, has anyonhe else noticed that their heart is beating faster? My is fairly galloping along in the evenings and I am only 5+5!

Welcome snotdroolanddirtybums love your name, is based on your experiences with your three boys?
