Hi all - we've very nearly exhausted the 1,000 post limit on our previous thread so here is the new one.

Looking forward to continuing to share the ups, downs, symptoms, queries, worries and joy (fingers tightly crossed!)

I still dont have it beesok so i am now not going to moan, as so many people on here seem to have it really bad .7+1 for me today....so maybe i will escape unless its still too early

cameli · 25/10/2010 12:12

Morning everyone. Well I had my 3rd scan on Friday night and it was fine. They moved my date from 2nd to 1st June but i know that may change again at the 12 week scan.

Trying to be positive but finding it EXTREMELY difficult. Had no nausea yesterday or so far today but felt rough on Saturday from lunchtime until bedtime at 10pm!

Really missing alcohol but swore i wouldn't touch a drop whilst pregnant.

On holiday all week as its half term so gonna be lazy. My 14year old son can entertain himself-he wouldn't be seen dead with me anyway.

All i really wanna do is make plans & buy baby things but i daren't and SO much has changed since i had my DS its amazing.

DungunGirl · 25/10/2010 12:14

Sorry about adding the list....didn't realise we weren't doing it!

Hope everyone is feeling ok!!!!!!

I think I am starting to get a bit of nausea settling in....arrrghhh

wonnaywombat · 25/10/2010 12:26

Good to hear the scan went well cameli

Well, here's a new one (for me anyway) - nosebleeds! Just had one at my desk (rather embarassing) and just googled "nosebleeds and pregnancy" and apparently it's quite common.... anyone else?!

Beesok · 25/10/2010 12:47

Hey Moomin - hope you "escape!", my ms is getting a bit better, just had some ginger tea and I also think it's somehow connected to the migraine (I've always had migraines with nausea) so hoping this is a one off ;)

Have my scan next week and still don't know how far along I am he he he

I keep thinking about baby's name and it's driving me nuts! Don't like anything ;)

Hello All, hope you're all ok. Welcome any newbies.

For some reason i'm starving today, just had a huge cheese and onion sandwich on tiger bread with 1/2 pack crisps. I have a cream scone waiting (sorry for those feeling sick.)

I've started getting really sharp pains in the middle of my back slightly to the right. Not sure what's started it but it began just after i got up. I haven't pulled any muscles as far as i know. but it is really uncomfortable.

Sarahmumtobe · 25/10/2010 14:02

Hi all,

Glad to hear your scan went well cameli
Having complained about not having ms before, have now been feeling nauseous all weekend, and not wanting to eat which is very unlike me!

About to try and find something to eat for lunch that I can stomach!

Beesok · 25/10/2010 14:03

Finally am feeling a bit better and am starving so thought really hard of what I can actually stomach and the answer is PIZZA ;) crazy pregnancy hormones!! I just went all the way to a really nice Italian pizza place and got myself a huge one ;)
now what I really want with it is a diet coke but am rying to be good ......well a sip maybe .......

Thanks Cep - now I want a scone!!!!!

Sarahmumtobe · 25/10/2010 14:06

Oh and forgot to say I have major baby head today-drove to work leaving my bag with wallet and house keys on the door step!

cep · 25/10/2010 14:12

Sorry Beesok, i shouldn't tell you then that i also caved about the lemon meringue pie which has just pinged in the oven, although won't be eating that just yet.

Curiouselle love that fact your dh is so interested, mine just isn't bothered.

sasamaxx · 25/10/2010 15:39

Beesok - that's great you're feeling a bit better. I am pizza mad so really impressed that you fulfilled your pizza craving so well [hgrin]

Supersunnyday - I'm sure I've heard that leg/ankle cramps are a typical pregnancy symptom.

I really don't want to jinx anything but for some reason today my ms is nowhere near as it has been lately.

moomin156 · 25/10/2010 15:57

Well i have been to get a new bra as icouldnt cope anymore and have already gone up a cup size and a back size!
The lady in bravissimo was lovely and for those that were wondering about the wired bras, they are advised that pregnant women are fine to wear a wire as long as it is fitted correctly and doesnt press on any breast tissue.......i have gone for non wired for pure comfort reasons. A proper unsexy granny bra but heaven to wear :)

NurseSunshine · 25/10/2010 16:28

Hey everyone, hope you're feeling better than I am. I am nauseated ALL the time and absoLUtely knackered. I've been trying ginger nuts but they're not working so I've bought some ginger and lemon tea and am forcing that down. Not liking ginger doesn't help. Am also going to try eating porrige before bed as I think someone on here advised.

Beesok glad I'm not the only one who's been thinking about names! Possibly jumping the gun a little but how exciting! [hgrin]

Curioselle I wish my DP was like yours, though I'm just grateful he's still speaking to me after this morning when I shouted at him for no reason then burst into tears! Confused Anyone else a bit weepy?

Great to hear about your scan cameli

NurseSunshine · 25/10/2010 16:31

Moomin Figleaves and Bravissimo have some quite nice maternity bras.

moomin156 · 25/10/2010 16:40

Thanks nursesunshine i tried the pretty ones on in bravissimo but ended up with the white one, purely as it gave me the best shape and support. the sexy kit is banished to the back of the drawer for now.....non matching underwear and comfort is the way forward LOL

moomin156 · 25/10/2010 16:43

Anybody else cold.....i am frozen and i have the heating on Brrrrrrrr

moomin156 · 25/10/2010 16:46

As for baby names we already had a bit of a list prior to getting the BFP.......its a really hard decision but we certainly have our favourites. My DH is being a gem and really interested in everything, i think he would have been out and bought a pram already if i would let him....LOL

NurseSunshine · 25/10/2010 16:51

Aww that's sweet moomin :) I haven't dared broach the subject of names with DP yet, I don't want to give him a heartattack! I've got my own list though, hopefully his won't be drastically different.

moomin156 · 25/10/2010 16:55

You will be surprised nursesunshine out of a huge list there is only a few we both like LOL......we find girls names more difficult than boys to match

mrsbigw · 25/10/2010 17:02

sarahmumtobe that made me LOL!

moomin I'm with you on the comfort only undies from now on, if its not cotton I'm not wearing it. I am alternating between freezing & boiling too, wonnaywombat

Barbie, 8Rubberduckies & Deadbodyof Karastarbuckthrace hope you are all feeling better soon, same goes to all my fellow feeling sicky pregnant people on here. My diet has gone from virtually vegan to pure processed crap in a few short weeks. have given up on ginger completely but I do feel better whilst eating boiled sweets. I think I am getting mouth ulcers but that is lesser of 2 evils.

cep get some deep heat on your back, maybe even a massage if you're lucky! [hwink] Hope it eases soon.

Hi & welcome mentalpup & dungungirl!

NurseSunshine · 25/10/2010 17:04

Are you keeping them quiet or do we get a sneak preview?

moomin156 · 25/10/2010 17:07

They are being kept quiet at the minute but they are very old fashioned and traditional names.......

cep · 25/10/2010 17:12

thanks mrsbigw. I think it'd have to be deep heat cause i doubt i'll get a massage.

Have to admit i'm stuck on names have a couple for a girl but can't really think of any for a boy, waaay to soon to talk to dh about it. Last time we only agreed on 1 boys name which obviously we used but now stuck, so it's bound to be a boy. Grin

moomin156 · 25/10/2010 17:17

cep is the pain muscular???? its not your kidneys is it just incase you have a UTI its just you decribed it slightly to the right. Im sure its just aches and pains though.
I think the first is probably the easiest to name as you chose your favourite, then if you get a second ( or 3rd or 4th) of the same sex then it must get harder and harder.
Why is everyone saying its too soon to talk to there DH / DP about it or am i just lucky LOL
