Right home! DS having a quick snack and drink so a minute to post my chart

This does seem an unusual cycle for me as I normally ovulate the day after my two peaks on the CBFM which is usually around CD18 and my cycles are usually about 30 days!

One thing which could have changed that is that I've stopped BF :( DS just gradually weaned himself so that I didn't realise I'd given him his last BF at the time! I suppose that's a nice way to do it but when I realised, it was a bit of a milestone! That was 2 weeks ago.

Bumps - I hope you get a bit more of a chance to chat with DP tonight. It will be ok financially, just take a bit to get your heads around. V exciting though!

Diege - I'm glad you could detect that DH was pleased Grin

Sorky - good to hear from you. Those brownies sound loverly...

Hello Star, Giraffe, Moosy and Rugby :)

essenceofSES · 01/03/2011 18:52

Thanks Giraffe :)

Diege · 01/03/2011 18:57

Thanks GINGE! I'm just going to take it a day at a time - no more testing, no more temping, if it's not to be then I'll work on lengthening my luteal phase (this was the first month I took both agnus castus AND vit B6)and move on. Fingers crossed it will be a sticker!
SES, your chart is actually not dissimilar to mine (I wish I could do links). The dip on day 9 could be implantation?

sorky · 01/03/2011 20:19

Go Diege!! Grin

I knew it when I read your post, hence my "Diege!??!" comment Grin

Baby buddy with Bumps eh? Lucky sods!

Off to look at Ses' chart....

sorky · 01/03/2011 20:20

Ses, did you have sex on cd 9-12?

what's your LP usually like?

Starshinetiger · 01/03/2011 21:18

Congratulations Diege - sorry, hope I didn't force the honk?! How very exciting Grin!
Ses, I know nothing about charts and yours is about the second I've seen, but I don't think it looks definitely out yet? Am still convinced you'll be pg by the time TT rolls round Grin

On that topic, I hope you all don't mind me asking sth non-honk related? I was lucky enough to get 4 TT tickets when they went on sale, 2 are taken, but 2 not "assigned" yet. No-one I know stuck their hands up and sais they wanted to go So, I have a dilemma - do I try to sell a pair on eBay and input some much needed finance into our bank (especially as my plan is still to give up usual work this summer), or do I find someone I know who would really want them and just sell at face value? When I bought them, I thought friends would just ask based on my fb status, whether they could come, but guess I just don't know many TT fans and now the thought of eBay value is sorely tempting! Any thoughts appreciated!
Back to honks - so excited for you both!
Right - away to the ironing (Rugby, I did nothing last night, decided just to have a very lazy eve for a change Grin).

Diege · 01/03/2011 22:28

Thanks SORKY! Good to hear from you btw - you must have had your honk nose on these last few days Grin
TINKS, thank-you and that sounds just my sort of afternoon Grin
Star get them on e-bay!!! People have had their chances and as you say the money would come in useful. Would you put a reserve on them on e-bay?
SES, I certainly wouldn't say you were anywhere near out on that chart. I meant 9 dpo btw, not cd 9 in my last post.
Off to bed now. Thanks again for the congrats and support today Smile

sorky · 01/03/2011 22:31

forgot to say....I'm getting a boob job...hurray!

Diege · 01/03/2011 22:36

Wow SORKY that almost deserves a honk of its own Grin. So what are you going up to? (I am assuming you're going up?)

essenceofSES · 01/03/2011 23:10

Ok, just one more post on my chart to bore you with Grin

  • We did only have sex on those 2 occasions so pretty useless really. I normally ovulate around CD 18 so really didn't think we'd need to start so soon!
  • The last couple of months I have ovulated on CD18 and also on the high day following my two peak days on the Clearblue Fertility Monitor
  • The dotted crosshairs suggest that FF is not convinced about my ovulation day. On CD 14, my temp was not accurate due to me taking it late and having had a couple of drinks the previous evening (both of which normally shove my temp up)so I wonder (and hope!) whether I actually ovulated on CD14 which would then make me 9dpo.
  • LP is normally 11 or 12 days.
  • Has anyone else ever noticed their first cycle after stopping BF produce a different pattern?

I'm not holding out much hope with only two attempts and I am feeling zero symptoms, but hey - I can live in hope and just wait and see what that temp does in the morning!

essenceofSES · 01/03/2011 23:13

Sorky - Grin at boob job! Good for you girl! How much of a change are you going for?!

tinks - hello! Sounds like a good day :)

Star - maybe I'm timing my pg around TT?! If I'd have got pg months ago like I wanted, I could have needed to take my hopsital bag with me! At least now, I wouldn't be too uncomfortable or huge it I were to get pg!

Right, it's Wednesday tomorrow so day off work and I'll be around. Going to try a pilates class in the morning before Jo Jinglesbut I'll check in first thing :)

GingerbreadGiraffe · 02/03/2011 08:04

Morning all

Tink- day sounds great. Glad you are feeling happy.

Ses - I can only comment on one of your queries - re stopping breastfeeding. I similarly was down to one feed a day before I stopped so didnt expect much change- but there was really quite noticeable change in my cycles- not sure if length but it was like hormones got "back to normal". I felt more hormonal, symptoms were more exagerated etc. I was suprised as I thought the new improved cycle was just how things were post having a baby Blush

It could be that now you have stoppped it changes things enough to make things happen.

Diege- still smiling for you :)

Star- I say ebay them too! Get as much as you can for them.

I am off today to go shopping. I never shop or buy anything for myself. This is going to be an indulgence. Grin

essenceofSES · 02/03/2011 08:27

Morning!

Temp dipped a v tiny bit but still 36.74

Giraffe - enjoy your shopping and be sure to report back!!

bumpsnowjustplump · 02/03/2011 08:40

Morning all.. Well i did a clearblue digital and that says that I am 3+ weeks past ov so that means I am at least 5 weeks pg. I have a book in appointment and date scan on the 18th March so will know more then.

I have got bad pains down my right hand side but not sure if that is down to the nasty cold I have as I have been coughing all night and I just feel worn out.

DP is not really talking to me at the moment, he hasn't said anything about the pg to me at all.. Not sure what he is thinking, we havent really seen each other to be fair just for 10 mins each night, I am not working tonight though so will see how he is then.

I bought some pregnacare last night. God how much are they now. Shock! We are going to try and get a free quote from a builder of either going up in loft or build an extension over bathroom. If either are feasable and not too expensive then we will look at that but if not we are going to have to move.. Just hope we can afford to stay in the area as the school here is really good..

Sorky woohoo for boob job when is the big day? I would love a boob job!!

bumpsnowjustplump · 02/03/2011 08:49

sorry ses I know nothing of charting so cant help you I am afraid.
Moosy thank you so much can I let you know about all the bits please. When we have had the date scan we are going to ask dp's sister if we can have some of the bits back and will know more then what I need... although any maternity bits would be greatly appreciated.

Star thank you again will let you know when the time comes thank you

Deige i am so so pleased for you.

sorky · 02/03/2011 09:46

Hmm I'm not sure about this month Ses. The high temp today is reassuring though. I think you might've been a bit too late and missed O.
The best OPK I found was the CB digital OPK sticks, with the smilie faces Grin Pricey but as soon as I started to get EWCM or thereabouts I used them. It was the only thing that allowed me to catch an unusually early LH surge which led to no.4.
I found that the monitors didn't allow earlier than normal surges, especially if you often O later in your cycle.

just what I found.......

BOOBS!!

Yes having them done in April. Going from a 30D, in good nick despite 4 kids, to about a 30F. So not too big, but hopefully enough norkage that Mr Sorky is boggle-eyed for some time Grin

sorky · 02/03/2011 09:49

Bumps I think you're DH will come around rather nicely, esp if he throws himself into practically solving the bedroom squish.

Men, imho, are much better at coping with trauma when given something practical and planny-like to do. Idle hands and all that....Wink

Rugbylovingmum · 02/03/2011 11:29

Morning all,

it's so nice having a load of new posts to read during my tea break, it's been so quiet on here lately.

Ses I have no idea about charts sorry but I will keep my fingers crossed for you. Enjoy pilates.

Sorky - 30F should keep his eyes on stalks for a while Wink. My cleavage increased when I started taking the pill and I still remember the huge Grin on DPs face when I complained I would have to buy some new DD bras. Bless, they're so easily pleased....

Giraffe - enjoy the shopping trip and let us know what you get Smile.

Bump - yah for the scan date and good luck for your chat with DP tonight. I'm sure he'll come around once he has some time to take the news in. How are J and O doing?

Star - I'm glad you decided to ignore the ironing and have an evening off but boo that the ironing fairy didn't come and do it while you were relaxing. I am so lazy I never bother ironing any of my clothes and I make DP do his own. I'm dreading DD getting old enough that I have to do her clothes, I hate ironing.

Tink - that sounds like a lovely afternoon.

All these honks are making me feel a bit broody and I think we are going to start ttcing again in sometime after May. If we wait a few months it is much better work wise and it gives me a few months to lose some weight. I had crept up to . I have lost 5lb over the last fortnight and I'm aiming to get to 12st over the next few months. Do you guys mind if I post my weight on here each week for a bit of wagon support as I don't have time for a slimming club?

Rugbylovingmum · 02/03/2011 13:22

Oh no, did I scare everyone off???

essenceofSES · 02/03/2011 14:05

Hello Rugby! I'm here, sat in the car whilst DS has a snooze and waiting to go in to soft play session.

Thanks guys for commenting on my chart and all the fx. I think Sorky is right and we've probably missed this month but my brain keeps getting all excited as it ain't over til she appears!

Sorky - I reckon your DH is going to be one v happy man :)

Bumps - hope you do get chance to chat with DP soon, but asthe wise Sorky says, he's probably trying to work out whathe can do practically. I hope the extension plans work!

Rugby - I'll join you in the weight loss needed corner! Hence my session with personal trainer on Monday and Pilates today. Trying to eat more healthily too. My starting weight was 12st5 and I'm weighing in every Thursday. Eek! That's tomorrow!!!

Rugbylovingmum · 02/03/2011 14:52

Hi Ses, I am weighing myself on a Saturday at the moment. I'm really pleased that I am starting to lose weight but I have a scary amount to lose - between 4.5 and 5 stone to reach my ideal weight Shock. How was the session with the trainer? I have been using the wii fit and I was going to start running I but keep getting put off by the awful weather (which is crap from someone who used to play rugby in rain/snow/whatever) so I have ordered the 30 day shred dvd and a Davina McCall dvd so I can exercise indoors. Wish me luck! I'd wish you luck but I'm still keeping my fingers crossed you'll be growing rather than shrinking over the next 9 months Wink.

tinksbabyis2 · 02/03/2011 18:01

HELP PLEASE LADIES (NOTHING SERIOUS OR EXCITING)

do you buy your children new shoes when they have gone up half a size or a whole size?

hi everyone

GruffaloSoldier · 02/03/2011 20:21

Hi there everyone!

Wow! So much to catch up on! I have skim read but am going to go back and read properly now I haven't got a small person taking away my attention!

CONGRATULATIONS BUMPS AND DIEGE!!!!

It is so exciting :)

Bumps - I know its a shock but Im sure everything will work out just fine!

Sorry I have been AWOL but things are moving with the flat sale and we are close to exchange so I am on the phone most days trying to push it in the right direction. We are still awaiting the building work from our leak damage and they are drying the concrete floor in our bathroom. We have the biggest dehumidifier you have ever seen in our bathroom! We are hoping the work for the hole in the wall will be carried out next week and then we just have to wait for the floor to be dry enough for the lino to go down. This may be when the buyer takes over the claim so we can get out of here,

I have only 7 WEEKS til baby is here! (If I make it to my ELCS date!!)
So the pressure is on!

Right I am going back to read the messages I missed!

Its good to see the wagon buzzing again :)
