bumpsnowjustplump · 28/02/2011 12:15

GingerbreadGiraffe · 28/02/2011 12:22

I guess you can only be 4 or 5 wks then- although not accurate.

how do you feel about it?

bumpsnowjustplump · 28/02/2011 12:32

Just in shock at the moment. Have told dp and he is in shock as well.. Just called dr as due to have a jab tomorrow for work and dont know if I can have it. Also would have had the last one 4 or 5 days before conception if my dates are correct and dont know if this is dangerous or not..

I got home from shopping hours ago and cant seem to get get my head straight and the shopping is still in bags...

Guess I wont be needed that bottle of wine now..

bumpsnowjustplump · 28/02/2011 12:38

I gave away all my maternity clothes and most of the baby clothes as well oh poo

GingerbreadGiraffe · 28/02/2011 13:29

where are the rest of the wagoners Bumps?

Usually a HONK gets everyone coming out of the woodwork!

Diege · 28/02/2011 14:11

Grin Grin Grin Oh wow BUMPS!!! Congratualtions - the jabs pre-conception should be ok - at least you know in time for the next lot. I'm sure you feel all over the place at the moment, but let it sink in just takle it slowly for a few days. You're a great mum and I'm sure number 3 will be eqaully cherished Smile

Diege · 28/02/2011 14:15

Me again! Just checked with work colleague (nurse lecturer) who tells me there are no adverse effects of hep B jab before or during pregnancy and she regularly immunises pregnant women. So one less thing for you to worry about!

GingerbreadGiraffe · 28/02/2011 14:30

Hi Diege! I knew you could be relied on to sniff out a honk from a mile away! :)

How are you?

Work is still crazy (thanks for asking). to the point that I may have to request a new role.

Ses- sorry to hear of the family loss.

Diege · 28/02/2011 14:36

Hi Ging! All fine here - af a few days late but then I have been taking vit B6 this month to extent luteal phase that was a pathetic 10 days last month. 12dpo today which I'm pretty pleased about. Work mad here too (oh I should mention on the redundancies front that I am luckily 'safe' in that I've moved myself into a core established team, while still doing my head of dept stuff on the side. More than a full-time role on 0.8 pay, but hey at least it keeps my job safe (for now).
Ses meant o say how sorry I am for your loss. How is dh coping?

bumpsnowjustplump · 28/02/2011 16:02

Thank you Diege. DP is really worried he doesn't think we will manage financially!! Then told me he wishes I hadnt' told him while he was at work as he cant concentrate. Right now I feel very alone. Also people know me on her in real life know my mn name so going to slip into something else for a while until things settle down..

Diege · 28/02/2011 16:31

No problem Smile. I think dp will come round - my dh's first response is always related to money, but underneath he's always been pleased. Just takes a bit longer to come to the surface.

tinksbabyis2 · 28/02/2011 20:45

Oh wow bump Grin sure news will sink in

Hi diege and ginger

Had a gd day today

Starshinetiger · 28/02/2011 20:58

Oh Bumps, must be so difficult for you - exciting, but such a worry. I know you had said you would love more, but were definite you weren't having any more for financial reasons. Hope that this is not an Evening where you and DP only briefly pass between work. If it's any help, my DH shared a room with his DSis and DB when he was a child, so the 2 bed thing is not a no-go. Must be really tough, I don't know what we'd do if we were in that situation, so Congratulations and I hope you have a good chat with DP tonight.
P.S. I have an attic with a few bags of mat clothes you could borrow, although is size 12 and 14, so probably too big for you.

Hi everyone else - must get on with ironing or nothing will get done tonight. Glad you have your job sorted Diege, but boo to the all too common working more than full time and being paid part -time. Good to see a few of us on here - been lurking, but no time to post!

essenceofSES · 28/02/2011 22:13

Just a quick post to say Bumps, I'm thinking of you and hope you've been able to have a good chat with DP this evening.

GingerbreadGiraffe · 01/03/2011 08:10

Ahh see a few people came out of the woodwork!

Hi Star, Tink, Ses

Bumps- how did your chat with DP go?

Ses- how are things with you?

Hi Tink- how did you have a good day yesterday?

bumpsnowjustplump · 01/03/2011 08:48

Morning all

I have decided not to change my name, if people want to talk about me then so be it....

I didn't really get a chance to talk to dp last night as I had to work but the news is sinking in now and we are happy but very worried at the same time.

Star thank you so much for you kind offer. I may take you up on that if you dont mind as I really have nothing and cant afford to buy lots of things. I am a 10/12 now so they would be ideal.

I have cancelled my jab today as dr says that while there are no ill effects to the jab my job isn't high risk (although there is still a small risk so have to be careful)

Ginger thank you so much for yesterday i am so glad you were here.

Ses a meet up would be lovely, just let me know when you are free. Sorry i didn't say it yesterday but hope you and dh are ok and coming to terms with your awful news.

Deige so when are you going to test?

I need to get some tablets today as I havent (obviously) been taking anything. My diet is poor at the moment and I have been drinking and smoking (I know I know stupid girl) at weekends so need to make up for that.

Oh one more thing. I am still overweight from having DS and now pg again. Will this carry a risk in itself. I think my ideal weight according to height is 10 stone and i am 11 and 1/2 so a lot of access weight there already.

Thank you all xx

Rugbylovingmum · 01/03/2011 09:54

Wow - I send my laptop away for the weekend to be fixed and when I get back online there is so much news!!! One friend has a new job, one of our NCT crowd is pregnant and there is a wagon HONK!

Congratulations Bump GrinGrinGrin. That is fantastic news. I'm afraid we've given all of our baby clothes back to SIL but I'm sure someone will have a bag going spare.

Diege - it's great that you don't have to worry about your job but OMG you sound so busy. How on earth do you manage all of that plus 4 DC, I am in awe Grin.

Ses - how is DH?

Star - boo to ironing but I hope you got it all done.

Ginger - boo to being crazy busy at work. Are you seriously thinking about applying for a new role? How does that work - would it be straight forward for you? I work in a lab and have no idea how jobs work in the real world Blush.

Hi Tink

essenceofSES · 01/03/2011 10:45

Morning!

Rugby - never send your laptop away!!
How's DD sleeping atm?

Bumps - sounds like the news is starting to sink in. The best times for us to meet up are Wednesday afternoons or weekend afternoons don't know if any use to you?

Thanks for all your kind words. DH got back from Ireland at about 10pm last night. He's not in a great place as the lady that died was like their 2nd mum. He's also really worried about his mum. They can hear her crying at night and after the funeral and wake yesterday she went home and went straight to bed at about 4pm. I feel pretty useless :(
It's been such a tough couple of months for them all with DH's cousin being killed in the car crash and his uncle dying as well :(

I'm also fed up of not being pg! I think it's understandable and I'm trying not to let it take over but just wish I knew when/if it's going to happen! According to Fertility Friend I'm 11dpo and I have zero symptoms and badly timed SWI. However I think I ov 2 days after FF thinks in which case I have better timed SWI. I'll try and post a link to my chart in a minute.

Right sorry for not personally name checking, am on phone and meant to be working! Also taken about half an hour to do this post as work phone keeps interrupting!

Rugbylovingmum · 01/03/2011 10:58

Morning Ses - I am so so sorry that you are frustrated with ttcing Sad. It has been such a bad time for you and DH and I'm sure all the stress is just making it take a bit longer but I also know that is no comfort right now. I wish I could tell you when it will happen or that I had some amazing words of wisdom to make you feel better but I'm afraid a sneaky wagon > and a virtual brownie are the best I can do Sad.

DD is sleeping better, thanks for asking, but is back to waking up around 5-5.30 am. Every time she has a bad patch with sleeping (teething, cold etc) she resets to her early waking routine and it takes a few weeks for it to slide back to 6-6.30 am at which point she usually gets another cold . I dream of the day she sleeps until 7 am Wink.

Rugbylovingmum · 01/03/2011 11:00

Oops, that was a very spiky, elbows out, kind of a hug. Let me try again (((((huge wagon hug))))). I'm definitely in trouble now, no way I managed to sneak hugs through Wink.

sorky · 01/03/2011 11:11

ShockHOLY FUCK!! Shock

erm...that's all for the minute.....

HAHAHA just kidding me ol' mucker Congratulations!!

Make a list of what you think you might need and parcels will wing their way too you momma Grin

So, so happy for you Bumps Grin

hiya everyone!
