just got your message... no dramas (apart from your shed that is) but you are missing out on cream eclairs!!! I will have to eat them... damn!!

OkieCokie · 18/08/2010 16:19

As I said Moo square pegs, round holes. FFS. Shed is raised 9 inches higher off the ground than it should be, perfect living place underneath for fox families. Of course, I am going to make them take it down and replace it with a shed that fits in the gap. They measured it, their problem! Cream eclairs?!?!?! You want to bring them round here and eat them and see the farce?!

FannyPriceless · 18/08/2010 16:43

box Very sorry about poo. I am in denial over the fact that I'm going to have to face this one day. And I agree over the pink on a horse thing.

cos I was in Y town this morning for an appointment and saw lots of people obviously going to the races.Grin Good luck to TGO!

rollerbaby · 18/08/2010 16:47

The dog just spray vomited through his nose on the rug. He's in the process of cleaning it for me now. I am clearly having my own issues now!!!! May have to have a lie down post eclair later on...

Box oh my god is this what awaits me?!!! That wicker chair does not sound salvageable.

The good news is that my iron levels have gone up past the threshold so no iron tabs for me!!!!! Turns out that they only fked up the antibody test. Saw crap MW and gave her evils.

SkiHorseWonAWean · 18/08/2010 16:53

I thought cossie's [sock] was something sex-related. I love that t-shirt btw - I think you need it!

honey Cheeky caaaah - no KP will ever cross my stable door! I was thinking more along the lines of this: www.robinsons-uk.com/products/ProductList.asp?topGroupCode=008&parentGroupCode=0803&groupCode=080303&view=all#sku.32299

Please forgive me for pink - but being as my horse is orange - the orange/pink combo is wonderfully offensive! :)

rollerbaby · 18/08/2010 17:01

ski you can have it but only if you are prepared to wear a padded jacket to match.

SkiHorseWonAWean · 18/08/2010 17:06

My riding attire is very subdued, blues & browns and my tack beautiful black Stubben. Please to have pink girly moment?

FannyPriceless · 18/08/2010 17:45

boxy you might find some useful poo advice on the thread about poo on the neighbour's pouffe.Grin

ski There! I think you needed that to fix your brain after the disturbing expression of pink-lust. Should I be worried about you?Confused

SilverSky · 18/08/2010 19:11

I am also no KP fan. She has no clue. No child of mine will have pink horsey gear. I spied bloody lilac brushing boots at a show recently. I so prefer traditional smart gear. Can't bear the new bsja jackets. .

Eventing chum had bad fall and is in hospital. Her airjacket saved her. Did not save her from broken bones but considering her massive athletic 17.2 beasty landed on top of her 4 fences from home - she is very lucky.

I am off to Robinsons this weekend for some serious equine therapy !!!!

Check up went very well. The head is down!!!!!! Not engaged. Just down. So all the movement I feel has got to be legs. In terms of fundal growth I have caught up. The back pain is just One of those things. Quack has suggested swimming! yikes.

So 8.5 weeks to go. Him Indoors is slightly stressed that time is running away from us.

SkiHorseWonAWean · 18/08/2010 19:18

Envy Canni plz havva 6'9" NZ pls? pls pls? The KP stuff is vile - I mean who the fuckety fuck wants their 8 year old looking like a hooker who does tricks with a ponee? My mum used to chat to her online, reckoned she wasn't "that mad" when it came to the horses and had a quiet & sensible approach. Hmm

'Course it were all traditional when we were lads. Black, red, blue or white! Wink I do prefer a bit of variety.

Backinthebox · 18/08/2010 19:44

Poor Shitland, I'm afraid, is cursed to a life of pink and purple. DD strides round bellowing 'I LIKE PINK, ME!' and we have just bought a neon pink grazing muzzle for the fat little beast. Clearly the Shitland has experienced 2 decades worth of this kind of humiliation, which could explain her permanently grumpy demeanor. But if I were her I would be liking the fact that being a tiny child's pony means she has nothing more stressful in her life than the occasional 'Thelwell looky-likey' competition to take part in and gets fed whole packets of Polos on a regular basis because DD says she NEEDS them. But no - she is in a strop over pink.

Silver I am having the air jacket for a Christmas present this year. I think they look a great idea. I asked on their stall at HOYS last year whether they wear going to be making traditional style jackets incorporating them and they said yes, they'll be about £900. I nearly fell over! So I will probably not be the only person on the hunting field with a navy or black one on oveer my hunting coat. Will just have to remember to disconnect myself before leaping off for a pee behind a bush when pissed. Grin Hope your friend is OK. My cousin has a similar sized creature do a slow rotational on her once and was lucky to survive - very messy!

Fanny that pouffe thread is hilarious. Apart from that one slip up she has been really good with the potty for the last 2 days. I was starting to dispair as OH's mother mentioned that one of her children - she couldn't remember if it was OH or his younger brother - took till they were 5 to be fully potty trained. All the while being the brightest kids around. I was at a friend's yesterday, and she's a supply teacher who has a DD same age as mine (and a baby due 4 days before me. We just sit there with a cup of tea and knowing nods!) The girls were doing jigsaws, and she sat and watched DD do one in silence as DD banged all the bits into the right places while her daughter was still looking for the first match, and said 'have you thought about having her tested?' So there we go - I've got a poo-smearing genius on my hands.

Am just off out to spray chicken sheds now. They have fucking mites again. Angry

SkiHorseWonAWean · 18/08/2010 19:57

boxer Please post on Pregnancy asking what the WHO/NICE guidelines state!

Backinthebox · 18/08/2010 20:13

OMFG! OH has just told me a spider bit him in our kitchen last night! On his neck. He said it was big and hairy.

OkieCokie · 18/08/2010 20:33

Biting spiders. Fuck me, no where is safe.

Backinthebox · 18/08/2010 20:42

OK, one chicken house down, 3 to go, then on to the spider killing. What do you think is worse for the baybee - insect killer or insect attact? Who knows? I will contemplate this while I eat my home made bramble pie topped with OUT OF DATE CREAM!!! Smells fine though.

OkieCokie · 18/08/2010 20:46

Possibly insect attack - look at poor Cheryl Cole although as far as I am aware she doesn't have a baybeeee inside her.

I just found a tub of Celebrations left over form Christmas with a use by date of Feb 2010 which I have been happily tucking into all day - and I am definitely thinking of the children!

SilverSky · 18/08/2010 21:29

box nine hundred smackers? Sheesh!!! That's a couple a Hunting subs is it not ?? Very wise investment tho. Esp as you hunting fly by the seat of your pants. Think pal is pretty mashed. Hoss left a leg over an Int coffin fence. Most unlike him as usually very nifty and clever with the old tootsies. Purely freak accident. Just glad she is ok, well she is not as she is in the hossie but you get my drift.

ski I shall think of you as I am perusing the sale items esp TO rugs. Can never have enough!

Nag is sound after a hack today so new farrier has not crippled him. Always a bonus I find.

Not looking forward to work tmw. Dull city. Figure that as soon as the day starts the sooner it finishes.

Just been to see chum's newborn. 5 days old and mega cute. Parents look relaxed and not too tired. Pal reco'd tens machine. Can hire from Mothercare and you get it sent 3 wks before your due date and don't have to return til 3 wks after due date. Think will consider fo' sho'.

Him Indoors and I currently are getting a take out pizza as no time to eat before we went out tonight. I am soooooooooo hungry. Then it's to bed for me to no dout wake up again after 40mins with serious cramp in my leg.

Nearly the weekend gals! Hooray for weekends. Really we should have plenty more!!

CluckyKate · 18/08/2010 22:36

Hooray for dobbin Silver - hope all goes well with the sharer trial too Smile

MrChook has today seen his dream home on the market which would end all ambitions I have for a 1 yr ML & returning to work part-time ....lack of acreage & stables mean it's not top of my list but might explain why he likes it - just need to suss out a way to talk him out of it.

So Box - does that mean you have another 2 years of extracting more crap from the crevices of your hovel Confused??? Hope not. I'd stick her in the stables until she learns how to behave like a human being but suspect she might actually enjoy living out there. BTW - cream is always out of date in this house. Enjoy Smile

Ski - hooray for getting back in the saddle (can't remember if that was this fred or t'other one). Is like sinking back into a favourite old armchair, no. I remember getting back on board after DD & couldn't wipe the smile off my face for ages.

Midwife appt t'morrow....get to hear the heartbeat for the first time Grin. Am worried 'bout collecting the sample tho - they have provided a much narrower vessel this time Angry. On plus side, at least I can see what I'm doing (tho doesn't guarantee success).

Good luck with the scan on Friday Meds

Backinthebox · 18/08/2010 22:46

Where is this mystery house, Clucky? Not the one in my village which is in need of a bit of fixing up, is it? If so, you have a knack of finding the one everyone else is after. (Mind you, so do we.) Surely MrClucky will just have to find a better job? As for pee sample

SilverSky · 19/08/2010 06:40

clucker scream, wail and threaten nervous breakdown????

BTW re airjacket - they are supposed to be worn over a regular back protector. How would that work with an airjacket built into a tweed jacket? Would you forgo the bp? The point of the bp is to provide back up in case you have faulty cannisters in the airjacket. Discuss.

SkiHorseWonAWean · 19/08/2010 07:28

okie CC ain't going to get a baybee inside he if she keeps stepping out with flambuoyant dressers! Wink

Air jacket? I just employ poor people to run next to me carrying mattresses.

I'm not going to drop too much money on a rug, she destroys them anyway and until she stops asking the late-gelded boy to stop mounting her... Hmm

CluckyKate · 19/08/2010 07:53

Box is in village at bottom of hill - look on Warmingham. Is another, nicer one on Jackson Stopps, more my style but double the price Shock. On the other hand this place walking distance from current yard & overlooks paddocks where youngster currently is and is in catchment for excellent schools. Stables & land would add at least another £300k onto the price tag in this area which we deffo. couldn't afford.

Silver - you is right about the bp but is because the Point Two hasn't been approved (needs more testing methinks). Only applies to competitions tho. After seeing Olli Townends falls in Kentucky am convinced it's as safe as you can get Smile

rollerbaby · 19/08/2010 09:13

Shall we start a horse thread too? Grin

Backinthebox · 19/08/2010 09:18

Clucky, yes, I see. Gulp! OTOH, how handy is that for location? Especially when at least first child is going to NEED a pony. (DD is going to teach her all about NEEDING stuff Grin) Would mean you would also be able to not only stagger all the way home form current yard, but also freewheel on pushbike all the way from mine. None of that nasty level bit where you fell in a ditch.

Ski, Clucky*'s girl is also orange, and a bit of a floozy. Something about chestnut mares? Hmm Of course, any reference to my own hair colour from either of you will not go down well atm.

Silver I had thought you could wear air jacket without bp too? Might have to keep it just for XC then. Racehorse is showing rather less concern for his own safety than big horse used to and will take anything on. Have a feeling he is going to be one of those 'win the class or crash spectacularly' kind of horses. Confused

I think DD must have worn herself out with the poo incident yesterday, as she took herself off to bed half an hour early and didn't get up till half past eight! Woo-hoo! Especially as she was in my bed last night as OH was working round the other side of the M25 and couldn't face driving round it again. However she did spend a very bizarre hour at about 5am singing enthustiasticly in her sleep Confused Weird, the things kids do!

Medee · 19/08/2010 09:33

a separate horse thread might be a good idea.
